OCALA Petronella "Betty" Cantillo, 75, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs.
A native of Germany, she moved here from New York in 1994. Mrs. Cantillo was a member of The Hummel Club, United Airlines Retiree's Club and Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Cantillo, Ocala; sisters, Anna Kiermaier and Hildgard Rossler, both of Germany; brothers, Xaver Rehm and Siegfried Rehm, both of Germany.

Allen W. Conn, 77
HERNANDO Allen W. Conn, 77, a food broker, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, in Hernando.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, he moved here from Pittsburgh in 1999. Mr. Conn was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Ozment, West Palm Beach.

William C. Jamieson, 74
OCALA William C. Jamieson, 74, a retired investigator for the U.S. Government, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001, at New Horizon Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
A native of Niagara Falls, N.Y., he moved here from Harrisonville, Mo., 18 years ago. Mr. Jamieson attended St. Patrick's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah "Debbie" Jamieson, Ocala; son, Andrew Jamieson, Pleasantville, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dora Jamieson; and daughter, Judi Saklad.

Fanny Kempf-Scales, 97
OCALA Fanny Kempf-Scales, 97, a retired proof reader, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, in Williston.
A native of Germany, she moved here from Baltimore in 1982. Mrs. Kempf-Scales was Lutheran.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Hepding, Ocala; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George G. Scales.

Alvin G. Reid, 82
HOMOSASSA -- Alvin G. Reid, 82, a truck driver, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, in Inverness.
A native of Farmington, Mich., he moved here from Pontiac, Mich., in 1979. Mr. Reid was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Velva C. Reid, Homosassa; sons, Alan Reid, Detroit and John Reid, Homosassa; daughter, Kimberly Bottrell, Whitmore Lake, Mich.; sister, Florence Linne, California; and three grandchildren.

Annette L. Sabella, 90
CITRUS SPRINGS Annette L. Sabella, 90, a retired seamstress, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001.
A native of New York City, she moved here from New York in 1972. Mrs. Sabella was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Citrus Springs.
Survivors include her daughters, Augusta M. Abato, Ventura, Calif., and Joan J. Broderick, Carmel, Ind.; son, Dr. Joseph C. Sabella, Ridgewood, N.J.; brothers, Barney Friscia, Palm Court, Anthony Friscia, Long Island, N.Y., Joseph Friscia and Charles Friscia, both of Spring Hill; sisters, Josephine Marino, Huntsville, Ala., Mary Hendry and Augusta Perli, both of Long Island; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Robert E. Watt, 80
WILDWOOD Robert E. Watt, 80, the owner of a milk distribution route, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, in Wildwood.
A native of Newport, Maine, he moved to Wildwood in 1981 from Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Watt was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and he was Protestant.
Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie W. Hughes, Wildwood; sons, Paul Robert W. Stone, Exeter, Maine., and Robert V. Watt, Perris, Calif.; and brother, John Watt, Albuquerque, N.M.

ORANGE SPRINGS Margaret Ellen Nelson Frame, 56, a Realtor for Orange Springs Real Estate, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001.
A native of Detroit, she moved here from Miami.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, David Frame, Orange Springs; daughter, Cindy Frame, Fort McCoy; son, John Frame, Midland, N.C.; sisters, Gloria Baker, Citra, Sharon Rodriguez and Sandra Pitre, both of Miami; and two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County or your charity of choice.

A native of Covington, Ky., he moved here from Xenia, Ohio, 15 years ago. Mr. Lawson was a former member of Northside Church of Christ in Xenia and a member of American Legion Post 584. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his daughters, Donna L. Penn, Xenia, and Linda Irvin, Lindenwold, N.J.; brother, Richard Lawson, St. Marys, Ohio; sister, Shirley Veith, Leesburg; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

LAKE PANASOFFKEE Mary Kathleen Lowry, 77, a homemaker, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001.
A native of Mayfair, England, she moved here from Livonia, Mich., in 1995. Mrs. Lowry attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Bushnell and St. Michael's Arch Angel in Hudson.
Survivors include her husband, Silas S. Lowry, Lake Panasoffkee; sons, Joseph R. Lowry, Clawson, Mich., Jeffrey D. Lowry, Romulus, Mich., and Robert C. Lowry, Land O'Lakes; daughter, Katherine L. Oxendin, Summerfield; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Lillian Solomon, 89
LECANTO Lillian Solomon, 89, a retired legal secretary, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2001.
A native of Manhattan, N.Y., she moved here from Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1975. Mrs. Solomon retired from Davis, Polk and Wardwell of Manhattan, after 15 years. She was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Beverly Hills.
She is survived by her a niece, Linda Fine, Stamford, Conn.
Mrs. Solomon was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Solomon.

John S. Thomson, 81
SUMMERFIELD John S. Thomson, 81, a retired circus performer, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001.
A native of Scotland, he moved here from Roebling, N.J., in 1990.
He is survived by his brother, Bobby Thomson, Glasgow, Scotland.

Charles F. Vorisek, 74
YANKEETOWN Charles F. Vorisek, 74, retired, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2001.
A native of Cleveland, he moved here from Miami in 1970. Mr. Vorisek was a former owner of Yankeetown General Store and worked as an emergency medical technician for Levy County. He was a member of St. Anthony the Abbott Catholic Church, Yankeetown City Council and the Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Vorisek, Yankeetown; daughters, Bernadette St. John, Barnwell, S.C., Sylvia Langdon, Crystal River, and Cindy Price, Monticello, Ga.; sons, Charles Vorisek Jr., Inglis, Laurence Vorisek, Yankeetown, Christopher Vorisek, Belleview, and Stephen Vorisek, Moore, Okla.; brother, Raymond Vorisek, Avon Park, Ohio; and 16 grandchildren.

OCALA Paul H. Binder, 72,self-employed in sales and advertising, died Saturday, September 1, 2001, at Timber Ridge Nursing Center.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Binder moved here from Long Island, N.Y., in 1991. He was a member of a VFW post in New York, a member of Top of the World Clowns in Ocala, and a sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Florence Binder, Ocala; sons, William Binder, Charlottesville, Va., and Chris Binder, South Setauket, N.Y.; daughter, Julie Corcoran, Ocala; brother, Jerry Binder, Far Rockaway, N.Y.; sisters, Arline Joseph, Cleveland, and Marsha Binder, Brooklyn, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

BELLEVIEW William R. "Brownie" Brown, 69, a pattern maker at Eljer Manufacturing Co., died Tuesday, August 28, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Salem, Ohio, Mr. Brown moved here in 1981. He was a member of VFW Post 892 of Salem; Eagles Aerie 4216 and Moose Lodge 1014. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Chiquita M. Brown, Belleview; sons, George Brown, Solon, Ohio, William Brown, Salem, Ohio, Paul Brown, Summerfield, and Joseph Brown, Columbiana, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.

OCALA Annette B. Coyne, 91, a retired bookkeeper, died Saturday, September 1, 2001.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved here 18 years ago from Miami. She was Presbyterian and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and a volunteer at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two nieces, Melody Hedden, Ocala, and Judith Smith, Ellicott City, Md.; and a nephew, Dann Murray, Sedona, Ariz.

Mary S. Faircloth, 82
DUNNELLON Mary S. Faircloth, a clerk, died Friday, August 31, 2001, in Lecanto.
A native of Catskill, N.Y., Mrs. Faircloth moved here from Brooklet, Ga., 12 years ago. She was a founding member of the Community Chorus of Citrus Springs, a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth's Choir, St. Elizabeth's Women's Guild, Citrus Song Birds, Potpourri Poets, Sweet Adelines, and the Dunnellon Christian Voices. Mrs. Faircloth was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include her husband, William E. Faircloth, Citrus Springs; daughter, Ruby Weitzell, Harrisonburg, Va., sister, Genevieve Rudolph, Miami; and two grandchildren.

Constance V. Fenchel, 86
LAKELAND Constance Victoria Fenchel, 86, a secretary and bookkeeper at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland for more than 15 years, Friday, August 31, 2001, in Ocala.
A native of Chicago, she moved to Florida in 1958. Mrs. Fenchel was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland, the Catholic Women's Club and the Polish Woman Alliance and was active in the Girl Scouts.
Survivors include her husband, Mayo Leonard Fenchel; three daughters, Michaelene M. Rankin, Tustin, Calif., Clarice V. Ruttenber, Ocala, Connie J. Fenchel, Falls Church, Va.; one brother, Marion Rybinski, Lakeland; and seven grandchildren.

McKree C. Hall, 87
DUNNELLON McKree C. Hall, 87, a retired pharmacy clerk, died Wednesday, August 22, 2001.
A native of North Carolina, she moved here from Wilmington, N.C., 53 years ago. She was Presbyterian.
Survivors include her sons, Hugh Hall and Mark Hall, both of Dunnellon, and Alan Hall, St. Petersburg; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
