Robert Joseph Audette
Robert Joseph Audette, age 66, of Navarre, Fla., passed away at his residence Thursday, May 20, 1999, after a long courageous battle against cancer.
Mr. Audette was born on June 11, 1932, in Berlin, N.H. He served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, and 15 years in civil service at Tooele Army Depot in Utah.
Survivors include his wife, Larata Audette and daughter, Robie Audette, both of Navarre; daughter, Roberta Martin and son, Dan Christiansen, both of Salt Lake City; son, Robert Kellie of Pocatello, Idaho; daughter, Gaye Lynne Bird of Wrightstown, N.J.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Dole officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Florida, 490 Hwy. 85 North, Suite C, Niceville, FL 32578, in memory of Mr. Robert Audette.

Eleanor Lopez Conlan
Eleanor Lopez Conlan, age 81, of Niceville, Fla., died peacefully at 11:07 a.m. Sunday, May 23, 1999.
Eleanor was born in Lakewood, N.J., on Sept. 2, 1917, and attended Neptune High School, graduating in 1936. She was attractive, and won the "Miss Asbury Park" beauty pageant in 1935.
She graduated from the Ann May School of Nursing of Fitkin Hospital, receiving her RN on June 30, 1940, with honors. Shortly thereafter, she completed her course as an American Airline hostess, graduating on Nov. 24, 1941, at La Guardia Airport in Flushing, L.I.
Accompanied by her husband, Eugene, a member of the Army Air Corps and later the U.S. Air Force, Eleanor traveled extensively moving to different Air Force bases throughout the United States and Panama.
She remained active as a registered nurse, serving in hospitals at Neptune, N.J., Mitchell Field, Long Island, N.Y., Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., and Offut Air Force Base, Neb. Eleanor was very active in her life, and went on to earn a license in cosmetology, learned photography and won awards, was an accomplished floral designer, and in her late 60's learned ballroom dancing and won many trophies.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; son, Robert and wife Linda and their children, Sean and Christopher; daughter, Kathleen; brother, Albert Lopez and wife Lillian and their children, Albert Jr. and Robert; by her sister, Virginia Smith and her children, Patty, Carl and Joann; and by Albert's and Virginia's many grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home, with a service following at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Heritage Gardens Cemetery.

Elizabeth "Libby" Jennee
Elizabeth "Libby" Jennee, age 92, passed away May 22, 1999, at the Crestview Nursing and Convalescent Home.
She was born in Harrison, N.J., on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1906, to Francis and Bridget O'Loughlin.
She had six brothers and sisters and was the only living member of the family. Libby was preceded in death by her first husband, John Freda; son, William Freda; and her second husband, Charles J. Jennee. Libby and Charlie moved to Crestview, Fla., in 1990 from North Bergen, N.J.
Libby was very active and was a member of the Leisure Club and the Joy Club. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. She had many friends in North Bergen and Crestview. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Crestview.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Don Widmaier of Crestview; grandchildren, Donna Kujawa and husband Pat of Michigan, Robert and Donny Carr of North Carolina, Ruth and Frank Mamola of Hazlet, N.J., John Carr of New Jersey, Toni and Bobby Sorey of Virginia, Charlene Chrissy and Kelli Freda, William Freda Jr. of New Jersey, Don and Rhonda Widmaier Jr., and Chris Ann and Mike Patenaude of Crestview. There are 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, SisterRose Emilita of New Jersey.
The family wishes to thank two devoted friends, Marge Hughes and Pat Barnes, who gave so much of their love and time to Libby.
A rosary will be recited on Tuesday at Whitehurst Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services will be conducted at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Crestview on Wednesday, May 26, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Michael Reid officiating. Interment will follow in Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery in Crestview.

Adelaide P. Kemper
Adelaide P. Kemper of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., died May 18, 1999, at Bay heritage Nursing Home in Niceville, Fla.
Mrs. Kemper was born on Oct. 2, 1905, and spent her childhood in Muscatine, Iowa. She was an accountant by profession until she came to this area in 1950 with her husband, James R. Kemper.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971, and stepson, Roy H. Kemper in 1994, and is survived by her daughter-in-law, Betty A. Kemper; stepdaughters and spouses, Pauline and William Bader of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Charlotte and Swanzy Nations of San Antonio, Texas, and Dr. Shirley K. Mabry of Schertz, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Agatha Episcopal Church in DeFuniak Springs, where the Rev. Donald McLeod will hold a memorial service on Friday, May 28, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
Desired memorials may be made to the Piano Fund at St. Agatha or to The Bay Heritage Activity Fund.

Lina Lubkeman
Lina Lubkeman, age 93, of Destin, Fla., passed away Monday, May 24, 1999, in a local health care facility.
Mrs. Lubkeman was a native of Germany and moved to this area 32 years ago from Bristol, Wisc. She was a member of the Santa Rosa Beach Community Church and was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Lubkeman.
Survivors include her sons, Daniel Lubkeman of Gages Lake, Ill., and Raymond Lubkeman of Bristol; daughter, Betty Mihalko of Strongsville, Ohio; nephew, Dieter Blobaum; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at McLaughlin Mortuary with funeral services following at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Hendricks officiating. Interment will follow in Gulf Cemetery in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.

Arthur Mikel
Arthur Mikel, age 79, a lifelong resident of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away May 24, 1999, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Laurel Hill, Fla., Mr. Mikel moved to the Fort Walton Beach area in 1935. He was known and respected in many and his memory will be cherished forever.
Mr. Mikel's wife of 48 years, Francis Mikel, as well as two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by three sisters, six children and their families; son, Billy Mikel and wife Susan, daughter, Janie Varner and husband Don, daughter, Trisha Mikel-Allen, daughter, Linda Alford and husband Steve, son, Bobby Mikel and wife Mary, and daughter, Cindy Belcher and husband Bobby. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Kim and Keith Brooks and son Wesley, Katie and John Wallace, Allison Mikel, Johnathan Laird, Sarah Mikel, Alisha Bogguss, Travis Mikel-Allen, B.J. Mikel, Josh Mikel, Zak Mikel-Allen and Mikel Belcher.
Memorial services will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Beal Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Daniel Adkison officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach, or to Hospice of Northwest Florida (Okaloosa-Walton Center).

Infant Sean A. Lynn died Saturday, May 22, 1999, in Pensacola, Fla.
Sean is survived by his father and mother, Ian A. and Sammi Lynn of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Terry and Donna McGuire of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; paternal grandmother, Cindi Lynn of DeFuniak Springs; great-grandmothers, Dorothy McGuire of Front Royal, Va., and Nancy Gheen of Destin, Fla.; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rischer of DeFuniak Springs; great-great-grandmother, Buela Ingle of Destin; and aunt, Sabrina McGuire of Front Royal, Va.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, May 28, in Mossy Head Cemetery.

Robert R. Trigg Sr.
Master Robert R. Trigg Sr., U.S. Air Force retired, age 64, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., entered into eternal peace on Wednesday morning, May 26, 1999, in a local nursing home following a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease and leukemia.
Mr. Trigg was born on Oct. 22, 1934, in Waynesboro, Miss., to the late John Henry and Floy Trigg. He attended Park College in Parksville, Mo., and later the Auburn University campus in Montgomery, Ala., where he received his master's degree in public administration. Mr. Trigg moved to Fort Walton Beach in 1977 from Montgomery. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Walton Beach; Omega-Masonic Lodge 380, where he was the secretary for 10 years; Hadji Shrine; Scottish Rite in Pensacola, Fla.; and the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and civil service with over 34 years in federal services.
Mr. Trigg is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mattie Trigg of Fort Walton Beach; son, Robert Riley Trigg Jr. and wife Martha of Navarre, Fla.; son, Arthur Brian Trigg and granddaughter, Lindsay Kaitlin Trigg, both of Montgomery; sister, Barbara McGilberry of Riverside, Texas; sister, Alice Babb of Clanton, Ala.; sisters, Patricia Mills, Sandra Touchstone and Pamela Hoover, all of Waynesboro, Miss.; and many other extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 28, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jack Walchenbach officiating. Interment will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery, with full military honors.
The family will greet friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Winfred William Allen
Winfred William "Doc" Allen, age 67, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., died May 24, 1999, at 11 a.m.
He retired after serving 21 years in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. W.W. Allen, lovingly called "Doc" by his friends in his adult life, while being called "Junior" by his friends and family who knew him all his life. He grew up in Benton Harbor, Mich., joined the Navy in 1949, and then retired to Billings, Mo., where he lived for 23 years. He then moved to Fort Walton Beach. Winfred studied with Jehovah's Witnesses and was looking forward to his baptism.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce H. Allen; sons, Mark, Brian, Danny, Michael Allen and Rick Allen Shaw; daughter, Linda Tyler; and 11 grandchildren. His mother, Stella Allen; six brothers; and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 29, at 1 p.m. at Kingdom Hall on Jonquil Avenue.
"Doc/Junior" will always be treasured.
Marilyn Rhynehart
Marilyn Rhynehart, the former Marilyn Goodall, was born in Indianapolis on May 17, 1923, and died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, after a brief illness.
Surviving is her husband, Philo Rhynehart of 439 Marion Drive, Niceville, Fla. Other surviving relatives include three daughters and sons-in-law, Karyn Strong and husband David of Cincinnati, Sharon Tucker and husband Jim of Paoli, Ind., and Victoria Teagarden of Salem, Ind. Marilyn's seven granddaughters are, Margaret Strong, Hillary Strong, Taylor Anne Strong, Jennifer Tucker, Ellie Tucker, Mary Magner and Marilyn Tucker. Marilyn's only brother, Wilmot C. Goodall Jr. lives in Indianapolis.
She was the daughter of the former Alice Crippin (Goodall) and Wilmot C. Goodall Sr. Marilyn grew up in Indianapolis, where she graduated from Shortridge High School. Following high school, she attended Purdue University. In 1945, she married Philo Rhynehart, who was an Air Force officer.
After Philo's retirement from the Air Force they lived in Indianapolis before moving to Niceville in 1986. It is here that Marilyn and Phil acquired a large circle of close and loving friends. Where Marilyn goes, she takes with her the love of her family and her friends, and she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
A small, very private memorial service for family and invited friends will be held in her honor.
In memory of Marilyn, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society; or, because of Marilyn's great love of flowers, donations may be made to Rocky Bayou Country Club for beautification purposes.
