Graveside services for Emory (Peanut) Karrell Castle, 51, of Mullins Street, Kingsport, who passed away Saturday (Feb. 26, 2000) will be held today at 11 a.m. at Castle Family Cemetery, Nickelsville, (Little Duck section) Va.
Pallbearers will be John Castle, Jimmy Castle, Jamie Wallen, Donnie Wallen, Rodney Castle, and Bobby Wallen.
The family will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City is in charge of arrangements.

Ralph B. Davenport
MOUNT CARMEL - Graveside services for Ralph B. Davenport, 78, who died Saturday morning (Feb. 26, 2000) will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Church Hill Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Benevolence Committee, 311 Cypress Street, Mount Carmel, Tenn. 37645.
Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.

James E. Dockery
GATE CITY, Va. - James Ezra ''Coot'' Dockery, 81, entered into rest Monday (Feb. 28, 2000) at his residence.
He was born in Scott County, Va. on Jan. 30, 1919, a son of the late Frank and Otellie Dockery.
He was a member of Alley Valley Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Mae Summey Dockery in November 1992; sons, Donald Frank Dockery and Jimmy Paul Dockery; sisters, Rachael Dockery Elliott and Nora Lane; brother, Ray Dockery.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frances Sanders, Fort Blackmore, Va., Mrs. Betty Sue Page, Gate City, Va. and Mrs. Maxie Dockery Overbey, Gate City, Va.; three sons, Billy Joe Dockery, Fort Blackmore, Va., Larry Gene Dockery, Fort Blackmore, Va. and Gary Wayne Dockery, Gate City, Va.; one sister, Beulah Lane, Gate City, Va.; one brother, Grady Dockery, Kingsport; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Gate City Funeral Home and other times at Billy Joe Dockery's residence.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Willie Neeley and the Rev. Tommy Holder officiating.
Music will be provided by the Holder Family Singers.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lawson Cemetery, Route 1, Fort Blackmore, Va.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be meeting at 10 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Schumacher Donald
CHURCH HILL - Services for Schumacher Donald Scott Martz, 41, of 226 Jones Road, who went home Saturday (Feb. 26, 2000) will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.
Burial will be in the V.A. National Cemetery in Mountain Home, Tenn., where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Charles DeWitt Byrd Post No. 3382 of the V.F.W.

Lettie Fleenor
Graveside services for Lettie Fleenor, 59, Kingsport, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday (Feb. 26, 2000) will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, downtown is in charge.

Ruth Haren
CHUCKEY, Tenn. - Shirley Ruth Haren, 61, went to be with the Lord Monday (Feb. 28, 2000) after a lengthy illness.
She attended Bethesda Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Three sisters, Kathleen Barr, Dorothy Barron and Louise Coffey preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Donna Hansen, Chuckey; one son, Tim Haren, Fall Branch; one grandson, Tyler Haren, Fall Branch; one granddaughter, Sarah Hanson, Blountville; one sister, Madeline Ford, Jonesborough; and one brother, Billy Dillow, Fall Branch.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Gardner and the Rev. Lowell Phillips officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Nancy W. Hidalgo
KINGSPORT - Nancy W. Malcum Hidalgo, 74, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 20000 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Bristol and had been a resident of this area for most of her life. Her early education commenced at several Germanic convents within the United States.
Mrs. Hidalgo was a former director of nursing for many year with Johnston Memorial Hospital, Bristol Regional Medical Center, Woodridge Psychiatric Hospital, Eye Specialty Clinic, and Northside Hospital. She retired as a staff nurse at Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church and the widow of Oscar Hidalgo.
Surviving are one daughter, Ann Ciancione Goforth, RN, BSN of Kingsport; two sons, Peter Ciancione, RN, CRNA, Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Jerry Ciancione, RN, BSN, Pittsburgh, Penn.; three grandchildren, Kristopher Goforth and Hunter Goforth, Kingsport and Michael Ciancione, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Akard Funeral Home.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on noon Wednesday in St. Annes Catholic Church, Bristol, Va. with Father Charles Burton celebrant.
Entombment will be in Mountain View Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Robert King
SURGOINSVILLE - Services for Robert (Bob) Wayne King Sr., of Stoney Point Road, who passed away Sunday (Feb. 27, 2000) will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Colboch-Price Funeral Home in Rogersville.
Calling hours are from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Carters Valley Cemetery.

Evelyn Lane
ROGERSVILLE - Evelyn Conant Lane, widow of the late Dr. Paul Lane, of McKinney Avenue, died unexpectedly Monday (Feb. 28, 2000) of an apparent heart attack.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogersville.
Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Graham, Florida and Mary Blair, Greeneville; one son, Paul Lane Jr., Nashville.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Colboch-Price Funeral Home in Rogersville.

Juanita B. League
JONESBOROUGH - Juanita Burton League, 82, 1021 Allison Drive, went to sleep in the arms of Jesus Sunday (Feb. 27, 2000) in the Johnson City Medical Center.
Juanita was born in Russell County, Va. on May 21, 1917 to the late Emory and Hannah Burke Burton.
She lived most of her life in Kingsport and Bristol area and living the past seven years with a special son-in-law and daughter, Charles and Jean Ferguson.
She was a charter member of Vernon Heights Baptist Church and a former member of Euclid Avenue Baptist Church of Bristol, where she was active in the Young at Hearts Club.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond H. (Ed) League, who passed away in 1994; a brother, Jay Burton; infant sister, Mildred Burton; step-mother, Maude Burton.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Charles R. Ferguson, Jonesborough, Betty and Clay Fields, Mary and Jim Light, both of Kingsport; son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Betty League, Spartanburg, S.C.; two sisters, Beulah Allen and Virgie McGrady, both of Kingsport; two brothers, Garland Burton and Charley Burton, both of Kingsport; two step-sisters, Ina Mae Bishop and Nancy Rowland, both of Kingsport; two step-brothers, Dallas Shoun, Kingsport and Carl Shoun, California; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at East Lawn Funeral Home and anytime at the residence, 1021 Allison Drive, Jonesborough.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tim Hale and the Rev. Billy Ferguson officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Claude Sturgill, Vester Coffey, Jack Patrick, Mark McDavid, J.B. Durham, Fred Ingram, bob Cleek, Kenny Adams.
Music will be under the direction of the Ferguson Family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vernon Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, 2547 Russell Street, Kingsport, Tenn. 37660.

Clarence L. Little
Entomb-ment services for Clarence L. Little, 92, 200 Virginia St., who went home to be with the Lord on Saturday (Feb. 26, 2000) will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Oak Hill Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be deacons of Lynn Garden Baptist Church.
The family suggests those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Lynn Garden Baptist Church, 301 May Ave., Kingsport, Tenn. 37665.
Oak Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gaines McGlothlin
Graveside services for Gaines G. McGlothlin, 91, of East Carters Valley, Kingsport, who departed this life early Saturday morning (Feb. 26, 2000) will be at 11 a.m. today in Walnut Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Greg McGlothlin, Mark McGlothlin, Derrick McGlothlin, Martin Bagwell, Joe Martin, Tracy Burton, Chris McGlothlin and Jason Stanley.
Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City, Va. is in charge of the arrangements.

James Norton
BRISTOL, Tenn. - James Robinson Norton, 68, of 361 Glenwood Road, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 2000) in the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area, was an employee of Monroe Calculators, and he was a member of the Scenic Park Baptist Church.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, where he received several military honors, the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and 811th. Air Police Squadron Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Norton; and one brother, Jerry Norton.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gerald ''Sherry'' Murray, Bristol, Tenn. and Mrs. Doug ''Brenda'' Sullins, Bristol, Va.; son, Jim Norton, Mendota, Va.; three brothers, Leon Norton, Larry Norton, and Charles Norton, all of Bristol, Tenn.; two sisters, Marie Nash, Bristol, Tenn. and Doris Miller, Lima, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Pam Norton; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Shaffer, Ashley Murray, Amber Sullins, Leslie Sullins, Jeremy Norton, Justin Norton, Logan Norton and Tasha Wright; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla Wright.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m today at the Weaver Funeral Home in Bristol, Tenn.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the graveside in the Glenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Don Denton officiating.
Military honors will be conducted by the Patton Crosswhite VFW Post No. 6975 of Bristol.
Pallbearers will be special friends.
Family and friends will leave in procession from the funeral home to the cemetery by 10:30 a.m.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Bruce Osborne, 74, passed away Sunday morning (Feb. 27, 2000) at Lakewest Hospital in Willoughby, Ohio.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Burial for Rosa E. Rich, 81, formerly of 1106 Wilcox Drive, Kingsport, who died Friday (Feb. 25, 2000) will be at 10 a.m. today in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Margaret C. Willis
JONESVILLE, Va. - Margaret C. Willis, 62, died Sunday (Feb. 27, 2000) at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tenn.
She was retired from the Powell Valley Electric Cooperative and was a member of the Jonesville First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Willis on March 13, 1999; and her mother Monette Carroll on Nov. 6, 1996.
Surviving are one son, David Willis, Wise, Va.; two daughters, Susan Barber and husband, Jerry, Jonesville, Va., Sandy Willis, Kingsport; three grandchildren, Jonathan Willis, Kelly and Kevin Barber; father, Herman P. Carroll, Jonesville, Va.; two brothers, Gary Carroll, Jonesville, Va. and Ricky Carroll, Big Stone Gap, Va.; one sister, Reba Hand, Jonesville, Va.
Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home, Jonesville.
Services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Booth officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bethel Cemetery, Jonesville, Va.
