Derek Lee Reeder, 26, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002.
Services were held Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home. Vernon Barker and Bro. Barry Simpson officiated. Pallbearers were family and friends. Interment: New Hope Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mary and Lane Wright.
He is survived by wife, Amanda Reeder; parents, Thomas Lee and Debbie Reeder; sister, Ginger Reeder, all of Joelton; grandparents, Jesse Lee Reeder and Myrtle Ruth Reeder.
Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ronald Joe Taylor
Ronald Joe Taylor, 48, of Nashville (formerly of Clarksville), died Aug. 11, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday, Aug. 17 at McReynolds-Neve and Larson Chapel. Clarksville. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, at McReynolds-Neve and Larson Chapel. Rev. Jim Wright will be officiating. Remains are to be cremated and buried at Taylor Family Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents Malcolm “Mack” Taylor and Sadie Allen Taylor.
He is survied by two sons, Ryan Taylor of Orlando, Fla. (formerly of Clarksville) and Johnny Taylor of Hendersonville and two sisters, Pam Chunn of Pleasant View and Missy Gray of Smyrna.
He was a computer programmer.

Jesse Dewey Batson
Jesse Dewey Batson, 75, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning, Aug. 17, 2002, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Micheal “O” Bannon and Thomas H. Cloyd officiating.
Burial followed in Mt. Liberty Cemetery, Dickson County. Serving as pallbearers: Tim Bess, Relus Fleming, Chris Hopkins, Will Bess, David Batson, Scott Batson; honorary pallbearers: George B. Bess, Todd Bess, Milton Rice.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Alive Hospice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George C. Batson and Lora Fowler Batson; his wife, Peggy Story Batson.
He is survived by two daughters, Leshia (Tim) Bess, Pamela (Relus) Fleming, all of Nashville; brothers, Cooksey (Betty) Batson of Greenbrier, Robert Batson and Earl (Nancy) Batson, all of Ashland City; sisters, Lillie Cooksey, Sara (Milton) Rice, both of Nashville, Dr. Beatrice Batson of Wheaton, Ill; three grandchildren, Will Bess, Chris Hopkins, Andrea Hopkins.
Mr. Batson was a World War II Veteran serving as a motor pool sergeant. He was a retired supervisor for the Ford Glass Plant and a member of Bell Meade United Methodist Church.

Billy Allen Hobbs
Billy Allen Hobbs, 59, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2002, at his home in Ashland City.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. at Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City, conducted by Rev. James Humphreys. Interment was in Smith Neptune Cemetery. Active Pallbearers: Mike Denson Jr., Eddie Hobbs, Tony Brand Jr., Christ Brand, Brad Biggs and Mike Spain. Honorary pallbearers: Eddie Jones, Mike Denson, James Edger, Willie Perry and Preacher Mayo.
He is survived by wife, Bonnie (Perry) Hobbs of Ashland City; son, James Hobbs of Ashland City; brothers, Johnny Hobbs, Jimmy Hobbs and Graham Hobbs; sister, Rosa Lasley, all of North Carolina.

Doris Darlene Lee
Doris Darlene Lee, 81, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. Rev. Dahl Johnson officiated. Burial followed in the Harpeth Hills Cemetery in Nashville. Active pallbearers: Rodney Thompson, Nathan Mayfield, John Schutt, Johnnie Beecham, George Hill, and Ray Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Lee; sons, Edward, Edwin, and Leon Lee; daughter, Phylis Lee, her parents, Morris and Lida Lieurance; her brothers, Keith, Kenneth and William Lieurance.
She is survived by daughters, Terrisa Martin of Ashland City, Sonja Golden of Tennessee, Ill.; sons, Michael Lee of Ashland City, Jack Clark of Washington; brothers, Steven Lieurance of Wicita, Kan., Ernest Lieurance of Dallas City, Ill.; sisters, Lois Bull of Canton, Ill., Janie Emerson of Dallas City, Ill. and Louilla Harter of California; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Donna Lee Morgan
Donna Lee Morgan, 78, of Chapmansboro, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Gateway Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel. Bro. Gene Brown officiated. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bowen H. Hankins, and her mother, Ester E. Hackett Hankins.
She is survived by sons, Bobby A. Hudgens of White Bluff and Billy Wayne Hudgins of Chapmansboro; daughters, Patricia Reed of Chapmansboro and Judy Lois Hudgens of Chapmansboro; sister, Gladys Laymons of Riverview, Fla., two grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
She was retired from Acme Boot Company and a member of the Church of Christ.
