GERTRUDE EISENBERG ALTSHULER, 91, of Oakland, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Tuesday. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

PETER A. BARANELLO, 84, of Totowa died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a supervisor for Parker-Kalon, New York City, where he worked for 25 years. Arrangements: Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, Northvale.

JOSEPH BORRECA, 47, of Toms River, formerly of North Bergen, died Wednesday. He was born in Italy. He had been a truck driver for Pitt Ohio Trucking Co. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

VERONICA R. CAFFREY CAFFREY, 88, of Upper Saddle River died Wednesday. She was a parishioner of R.C. Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

LILY BORRI CERIA, 86, of Saddle Brook died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1980, she was a sales clerk for Sears, Roebuck and Co. in Maywood for 10 years. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Saddle Brook. Arrangements: Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.

EDWIN "ALLEN" DIXON, 91, of Sloatsburg, N.Y., formerly of Mahwah, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1975, he worked in the maintenance department for the Mahwah Board of Education. He was a charter member and former captain of the Mahwah Ambulance Corps Company 1, a life member of the New Jersey Firemen's Association, and a life member of the New Jersey First Aid Squad. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

CLARA WITT FINN, 96, of Somerset, formerly of Teaneck, died Wednesday. She had been president of Horenu at the Teaneck Jewish Center and was a life member of Hadassah. She was a Red Cross volunteer. Arrangements: Wien & Wien, Englewood.

RICHARD GOLEBOSKI, 64, of Clifton died Monday. Before retiring, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Clifton for 20 years. He was a member of the National Postal Mail Handlers Local 300, Clifton, and AARP. Arrangements: Edward F. Kugler Community Home for Funerals, Saddle Brook.

ETHEL LOONEY HAMILTON, 90, of Washington Township died Monday. She was born in England. She was a member of Valley Bible Chapel, Washington Township. She was a volunteer for Christian Missions. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

ARNOLD J. HARDTMANN, 88, of Hawthorne died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1978, he was a printer for C.H. Forsman Printing, Fair Lawn. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a former member of First Reformed Church, Hawthorne, and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Wyckoff. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

GEORGE F. HELD JR., 87, of Clifton died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a self-employed real estate developer. He was a graduate of Upsala College, East Orange. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton. He was a member of the board of directors of the Clifton Savings and Loan Association. He also was a member of the Montclair Beach Club, Clifton. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

MARJORIE A. HYLAND, 89, of Ridgewood died Sunday. She was a volunteer at The Valley Hospital and a member of the Woman's Club and the College Club, all in Ridgewood. She was chairwoman of the Ladies Golf Association of the Ridgewood Country Club. Arrangements: Alleva Funeral Home, Paoli, Pa.

CHARLES S. KASARDA, 74, of Manchester, formerly of Oakland, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1990, he was head custodian for Dogwood Hills School, Oakland, where he worked for 10 years. He also worked in quality control for Ford Motor Co. in Mahwah for 10 years. He was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church, Lakehurst. Arrangements: Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Lakehurst.

ARTHUR K. KOMINOS, 66, of Mahwah, formerly of Allendale, died Tuesday. Born in Greece, he came to the United States in 1952. Before retiring in 1987, he owned Art's Shoe Repair, Waldwick, for 25 years. He was a founding member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Wyckoff, and was a member of AHEPA. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

WILLIAM F. KOSCH, 66, of Paterson died Tuesday. He had been a house painter. He was an Army veteran. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

NATHALIE KLINGBEIL KOTZ, 78, of Glen Rock, formerly of Paterson, died Wednesday. Before retiring, she was an office manager for various companies in the dye industry in Paterson and for Fabulous Floors, Glen Rock. She was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. She was a member and executive officer of Brandeis Jewish Women and a member of Jewish War Veterans Post 651, Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

SOPHIA J. FOUNTOUKIS KOUKOUMTZIS, 40, of Teaneck died Tuesday. She had worked in the deli department of the Stop & Shop supermarket in Teaneck. She was a member of the Greek-Cranford Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Arrangements: Minchin Funeral Home, Paterson.

SOPHIE A. JERZYKOWSKI LOSINO, 73, of Lodi died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1974, she was a packager for Packaging Corp. of America, Garfield, where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Hasbrouck Heights and AARP. Arrangements: Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi.

RUTH A. MOORE of Englewood died Tuesday. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

VIDAN NIKOLICH, 65, of Ridgefield died Monday. Born in Serbia, he came to the United States in 1966. Before retiring in 1996, he was an executive for Bank of America, New York City, where he worked for 25 years. Arrangements: Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield.

NICHOLAS PETRANIS, 59, of Alpine died Tuesday. He had owned Gatsby's Restaurant, Cresskill. Arrangements: Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly.

ANTHONY P. ROSANA, 72, of West Milford, formerly of Allendale and Franklin Lakes, died Wednesday. Before retiring eight years ago, he owned The Look Out Inn, Alpine, for 10 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

FRANCES RUSSO SAPALIO, 84, of Garfield died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1979, she was a dressmaker for 50 years and a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

WAYNE E. SCHLESSINGER, 36, of Hackensack died Tuesday. He worked in the receiving department of the Pathmark supermarket in Weehawken. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: J. Rocciola Funeral Home, Hackensack.

JANE I. SILBERMAN, 59, of Ramsey, formerly of Wyckoff, died Wednesday. Before retiring last year, she was a teacher at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, Wyckoff, for 24 years. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

LINDA M. AMBROGIO SIMPSON, 52, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Paterson, died Wednesday. She was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

JOSEPHINE F. VALENTINE SPIONE, 89, of Edgewater died Wednesday. Before retiring, she was an administrative assistant for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

FRANK N. TEETSEL, 70, of Wayne died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1994, he owned Print & Peel Inc., Paterson. He was a graduate of Brooklyn College. He was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church, Mountain Lakes. He was past president of the Passaic Rotary Club. Arrangements: Mackey Funeral Home, Boonton.

CORNELIA M. LABAUGH VAN BLARCOM, 98, of Hawthorne died Tuesday. She had been a secretary for H.B. White, New York City. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Hawthorne, and served as treasurer of its Ruth Circle. She was a member of Golden Horizon. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

ELINORE WALLER, 93, of Leonia died Monday. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

DAVID G. WILKINS, 73, of Demarest died Oct. 7. Before retiring, he was a contractor and owned Circle W, New York City. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Demarest. Arrangements: Moritz Funeral Home, Closter.
