BOOKER T. BECOTE JR., 62, of Paterson died last Thursday. He had worked for American Can Co. in Fair Lawn and was a security guard for PNC Bank. He was a member of New Christian Missionary Baptist Church, Paterson, and its Inspirational Choir and Male Chorus. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

MARIE PASQUALE BENDUCCI, 65, of Nutley died Tuesday. Arrangements: S. W. Brown and Son Funeral Home, Nutley.

GERTRUDE T. BOEGLEN BIZZARO, 72, of Clifton died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1999, she was a clerk and proofreader for the Passaic County registrar of deeds in Paterson, where she worked for 16 years. She was a parishioner of St. John Kanty R.C. Church and a member of the Regina Mundi Columbiettes, both in Clifton. She was president of the American Legion Post 77 Auxiliary, Paterson, past president of the Passaic County American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of AARP. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

VICTOR R. DiMARTINO, 49, of Pompton Lakes died Tuesday. He was born in Italy. He had been a self-employed auto restorer with Bad Company, Pompton Lakes. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

BLANCHE F. ENGLISHMEN, 97, of Orwell, Vt., formerly of Ridgewood, died Dec. 2. Before retiring in 1969, she was an office manager for Standard-Coosa-Thatcher Thread Manufacturing Co., New York City. Arrangements: Mallory Funeral Home, Fair Haven, Vt.

SISTO FANELLA, 77, of Bloomingdale died Tuesday. Before retiring, he was a baker for Minardi's Bakery, Paterson. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

EDWARD J. HAHN, 88, of Wayne died last Thursday. Before retiring in 1978, he was a sales manager for Clairmont Cadillac, West Caldwell, where he worked for 13 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the New Jersey Sports Hall of Fame. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

DOROTHY TAUBER HALPERN, 83, of Coconut Creek, Fla., formerly of Clifton, died Tuesday. She was past president of B'nai B'rith Women in Passaic and a member of the Clifton Jewish Center. Arrangements: Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.

VERNA M. WANAMAKER HASLAM, 80, of Clifton died Wednesday. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

DEBORAH GITTLEMAN KAPLAN, 45, of Paramus died Sept. 11 in the World Trade Center attack. She was a civil engineer for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She was a member of the Jewish Community Center, Paramus, and its board of directors and religious committee, and was chairwoman of its youth committee. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

MARY S. KRZYSIK KUNDRACKY, 77, of Lyndhurst died Tuesday. She was a parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church, Lyndhurst. Arrangements: Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst.

PATRICIA CORCORAN LEIGHTENHEIMER, 53, of Maywood, formerly of Dumont, died Tuesday. She was a licensed practical nurse for North Hudson Community Action Center, North Bergen. Arrangements: Frech Funeral Home, Dumont.

ANGELA TERILLI MACCIA, 93, of Clifton died Tuesday. Before retiring, she worked for Shulton Inc., Clifton. She was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

WILBER P. MARTIN, 71, of Moonachie, formerly of Cedar Grove and Little Falls, died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1992, he was a driver for APA Motor Freight, North Bergen, where he worked for 29 years. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a former member of Second Reformed Church, Little Falls. He was a member of the Cedar Grove and Little Falls Volunteer Fire Departments. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

JESSIE L. PERRY, 76, of Paterson died Tuesday. He was a member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church, Rosland, La. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

HELEN SIVER PURZYCKI, 81, of Clifton died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1978, she was a laborer for Singer Kearfott Corp., West Paterson, where she worked for 10 years. She was a parishioner of St. Brendan R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Gorny & Opuda Lakeview Memorial Home, Clifton.

RONALD R. SCHALL SR., 69, of Prospect Park, formerly of Paterson, died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a truck driver. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Prospect Park. Arrangements: Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, Franklin Lakes.

JACK SCHWARTZ of Fort Lee died Wednesday. Before retiring eight years ago, he owned Palisade Lumber and Supply, Jersey City, which he founded in 1949. He was past president of New Jersey Lumbermen's Association. He was a member of Congregation Mount Sinai and Congregation Har Zion, both in Jersey City. He was president of the Fort Lee Jewish Center, founder of the Kosher Meals on Wheels program of Hudson County, and a member of the B'nai B'rith and the Golden Rule Menorah Masonic Lodge. Arrangements: Wien & Wien, Hackensack.

JOSEPH M. SINNO, 75, of Fort Lee died Tuesday. Before retiring he was a self-employed drapery and window treater. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Arangements: A. K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

ELAINE E. GEILS STAPIENSKI, 61, of Brick, formerly of Leonia, died Tuesday. Arrangements: Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, Brick.

MARGARET PASHALIAN TAHMESIAN, 90, of Sparta, formerly of Wood-Ridge, died Tuesday. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

McKINLEY TOWNSEND, 95, of Norwood died Tuesday. He had been a printer for The New York Times, New York City. He was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church, River Vale, where he was deacon emeritus. He was a member of White Head Masonic Lodge, Cliffside Park. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

GERARD A. WALSH, 55, of Jersey City, formerly of Clifton and West Paterson, died Tuesday. He had been a consultant for Rutan Poly Corp., Mahwah. Previously, he was president of Andmar Plastics Inc., Clifton, where he worked for 20 years. He was a graduate of the University of Detroit. He was a former parishioner of St. Philip R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

VERONICA DOVIAK ZALENSKI, 79, of Lodi died Wednesday. Before retiring 21 years ago, she was an assembly worker for Bergen Cable Technologies, Lodi, where she worked for 20 years. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, Lodi. She was a member of the Senior Citizens and AARP, both in Lodi. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

PAULINE JACOVETTO ZWEIER, 90, of Cliffside Park died Wednesday. Arrangements: A. K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.
