ANNA KOLY BATCHO, 83, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Garfield, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1989, she was a clerk for Mailco Co., Wood-Ridge. She was a parishioner of Assumption R.C. Church, Wood-Ridge. Arrangements: Kohler Funeral Home, Wood-Ridge.

RODERICK EDWARDS, 74, of Paterson died Monday. He was born in Jamaica. He was a security guard. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church, Brooklyn. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

JOSEPHINE GIARRIZZO GALESE, 92, of Wyckoff died Thursday. She was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1909. Before retiring, she was a dressmaker in the New York City textile industry. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne, and a member of its Golden Horizon Club. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

MARIA KOWALCZYK GELA, 76, of Clifton, formerly of Passaic, died Tuesday. She was born in Poland and came to the United States in 1964. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Passaic. Arrangements: J. C. Fila Lexington Memorial Home, Clifton.

LANZY HANSFORD SR., 90, of Paterson died Tuesday. Before retiring, he was a forklift operator for Hy-Way Cinder Block Co., Saddle Brook, where he worked for 40 years. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

SHAMERA MARDENLY KUBOOSH of Belle Mead, formerly of Cliffside Park, died Tuesday. She was a clerk for REX Pharmacy, Cliffside Park, where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of Grantwood Congregational Church, Cliffside Park. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

ELIZABETH J. BOTH MASON, 102, of Cedar Grove, formerly of Paterson and Waldwick, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1977, she was a secretary for the director of nursing at Paterson General Hospital, and later at Wayne General Hospital. She attended St. Michael Episcopal Church, Wayne. She was a former member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, Paterson, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

RAYMOND MATTESSICH of Palisades Park died Tuesday. He was a driver for United Parcel Service, Hackensack, where he worked for 21 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 177 and a parishioner of St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Palisades Park. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

VIVIAN B. McDONNELL, 78, of Sussex, formerly of Clifton, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1994, she was a bookkeeper for Grand Central Radio, New York City. She was a former parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

KATHLEEN F. CARMODY McGOURAN, 58, of Ramsey died Tuesday. She worked for Aiwa America Co., Mahwah. She was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Ramsey. She was a member of the Ramsey Golf and Country Club. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

JOAN O'NEILL McLAUGHLIN, 67, of Bodicote, England, formerly of Dumont, died Nov. 4. Arrangements: John & Maurice Humphris Funeral Directors, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England.

LAWRENCE RAUSCH, 68, of Leonia died Wednesday. Before retiring, he was a pilot for U.S. Airways, where he worked for 33 years. He was a graduate of Manhattan College. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Leonia. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

RITA SACCOMANDO, 94, of Clifton died Wednesday. She worked for Ribbon Manufacturing Co., Paterson, for 48 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Marrocco Memorial Chapel, Colfax Avenue, Clifton.

CHARLOTTE M. RIEGLER SAYER, 93, of Fair Lawn died Wednesday. She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Atonement, Fair Lawn, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was past guild president of the Episcopal Church Women of St. Peter Episcopal Church, Rochelle Park. She was past president of the Bergen County Parent-Teacher Association, and past vice president of the New Jersey Council of the Parent-Teacher Association. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

HERMAN C. STEENSTRA, 68, of Mahwah, formerly of Midland Park, died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1996, he was a building official in Clifton. He was a member of the Navy Reserve. He was a member of Reformed Bible Church, Pompton Plains, and a member of Activities Unlimited of Wyckoff Reformed Church. He was a volunteer for CRWRC Disaster Relief Services. Arrangements: Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, Franklin Lakes.

JOSEPH M. VAN GIESON, 46, of Little Falls died Thursday. He was an executive chef for The Bethwood in Totowa, where he worked for 25 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. He was president of the Big Apple Chapter of the American Culinary Federation, and a member of the International Geneva Association. He was a former member of Enterprise Fire Company 2 of the Little Falls Fire Department. Arrangements: Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls.

MARY KAY VENNERMAN, 49, of Hawthorne died Wednesday. She was a licensed practical nurse for Bergen Regional Medical Center, Paramus. Previously, she worked for the Kessler Institute, Paterson. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.
