FILIPPO AIELLO JR., 27, of Saddle Brook, formerly of Garfield, died Friday. He had been a self-employed masonry contractor. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Edward F. Kugler Community Home for Funerals, Saddle Brook.

EDWARD A. ANNIBAL, 83, of Paramus died Sunday. Before retiring in 1991, he owned three laundromats in New Jersey for 25 years. Previously, he was a machinist for Curtiss-Wright Corp., Wood-Ridge. He was a Marine Corps veteran. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

SERGEI W. BOGAENKO, 72, of Totowa died Sunday. Before retiring, he was an electrical engineer for Bendix Corp., Teterboro. He was a graduate of Newark College of Engineering. He was an Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 139, Lyndhurst. Arrangements: Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls.

VAHAN DADOYAN, 86, of New Milford died Saturday. He had owned Dadoyan Import and Export. He was a member of Saints Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Ridgefield, and its Hamazkayin Cultural Association. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

MARY SORRENTINO DePREKER, 84, of Midland Park died Sunday. She was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, Midland Park. Arrangements: Olthuis Funeral Home, Midland Park.

CONRAD de RUITER, 94, of Clifton died Saturday. He was born in Holland. Before retiring, he was a stained glass artisan for Hiemer Co., Clifton, where he worked for 50 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

CAROLINE SAVARESE DIENES, 88, of Elmwood Park died Saturday. Before retiring in 1975, she was a supervisor for Artolier Co., Garfield. Arrangements: Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.

OLGA VRABEL DUCHAK, 86, of Monmouth Junction, formerly of Garfield, died Sunday. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Lexington Avenue, Clifton.

MOLLY MASSARA FANELLI, 92, of Passaic died Friday. She had been a registered nurse at St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic, where she worked for 25 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Passaic. Arrangements: Powell-Marrocco Funeral Home, Clifton.

JAMES R. HARTE, 43, of Milford, formerly of Englewood and Upper Saddle River, died Saturday. He was an engineer for Lucent Technologies in Mount Olive. Arrangements: McCracken Funeral Home, Union.

MARY M. R. NEWMAN HERRMANN, 61, of Clifton died Saturday. Before retiring, she was a registered nurse for General Motors Corp. in Linden, and previously for St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, Clifton, and a member of the M.S. Society, Teaneck. Arrangements: Shook Funeral Home, Clifton.

CATHERINE M. DRIESSE JOHNSON, 76, of Hawthorne died Saturday. Before retiring in 1999, she was a cashier at the A&P supermarket in Midland Park, where she worked for 19 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

CHRISTINE C. CHALMERS LESLIE, 101, of Hackensack died Saturday. She was born in Scotland. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

MILDRED FOGLIO MATURO, 94, of Fairview died Sunday. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, Fairview. Arrangements: A. K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

THOMAS F. MAYER, 46, of Cliffside Park died Sunday. Arrangements: McCorry Bros. Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

SISTER JEAN de PAUL McCLOSKEY, 84, of the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth at St. Anne Villa in Convent Station died Thursday. She was a graduate of the College of St. Elizabeth and received a master's degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame. Before retiring in 1994, she was a teacher at St. Anthony School, Butler. Among her other assignments, she also taught at Holy Trinity School, Fort Lee; the Academy of St. Aloysius, Jersey City, and St. Cecilia High School, Englewood. She had been principal of St. Aloysius High School, Jersey City. Arrangements: William R. Dangler Funeral Home, Summit.

JOHN W. McLAUGHLIN, 77, of Kinnelon died Saturday. He had owned John W. McLaughlin Associates, Kinnelon. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received a master's degree in business administration from New York University. He was a former member of the Smoke Rise Board of Governors. Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

ELIZABETH FISHER McMANUS, 86, of Englewood died Friday. Before retiring in 1991, she was an assistant at the Southeast Senior Center for Independent Living, Englewood. Previously, she worked for Mica Industrial, Englewood, for 30 years. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Englewood, where she served on the trustee board and was a member of the Pastor's Aid, Flower Club, and Senior Choir. Arrangements: Nesbitt Funeral Home, Englewood.

RUSSELL PASTRE, 85, of Paramus, formerly of Bergenfield, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1985, he was a statistician for General Reinsurance Co., Stamford, Conn., where he worked for 49 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans Post 32. Arrangements: Boulevard Funeral Home, New Milford.

GENE PELUSO, 82, of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Clifton, died Friday. He had been a landmark coordinator for the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he worked for 20 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 347, Clifton, and past commandant of the New Jersey Marine Corps League. He was a parishioner of St. Luke the Evangelist R.C. Church, Palm Harbor, and a former parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Clifton. Arrangements: Marrocco Memorial Chapel, Colfax Avenue, Clifton.

ISABEL M. PENNYCOOK MONTGOMERY, 77, of Wayne, formerly of Little Falls and Paterson, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1982, she was a teacher's aide and bus attendant in the Paterson school system, where she worked for 15 years. She was a member of the Little Falls Jolly Seniors. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

DONALD J. PFEUFER, 63, of Pleasant Mount, Pa., formerly of Dumont, died Saturday. He had been a foreman in the construction industry in New Jersey and New York. He was a Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of St. Juliana Church, Rock Lake, Pa. Arrangements: Hessling Funeral Home, Honesdale, Pa.

THERESA SELLAROLE, 82, of Wyckoff died Saturday. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, Wyckoff. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

PHYLLIS DeSCLAFANI TOMASSO, 57, of North Bergen died Sunday. She had been a legal secretary for Anthony Sarsano in Union City, where she worked for 20 years. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

RUSSELL W. WALTERS, 31, of New Milford, formerly of Bergenfield, died Saturday. He was a pipe fitter. Arrangements: Frech Funeral Home, Dumont.

EDWARD F. WARDROP, 82, of Fair Lawn died Saturday. Before retiring in 1988, he was a manager for W D Blood Inc., Clifton, where he worked for 42 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 171 and Catholic War Veterans Post 1076, both in Fair Lawn, and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn, where he served as an usher and was a member of its Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus, and the Live Wires. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

ROBERT F. YOUNG, 77, of Ridgewood died Sunday. Before retiring in 1983, he was a facilities manager for Owens-Illinois Corp., New York City, where he worked for 35 years. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.
