MARIE BOMBINO BOGGIS, 69, of New Milford died Sunday. She had owned Noreen International Embroidery, Union City. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Oradell, and a member of AARP. Arrangements: Beaugard Funeral Home, River Edge.

CHARLES W. CHRISTIE, 71, of Ramsey died Sunday. He was a residential developer in Bergen County. He was former president of Ramsey Golf and Country Club. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

MARGARET M. DALY, 66, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Jersey City, died Sunday. She was a member of St. Mary R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes, and was a school crossing guard. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

FLORENCE A. ROLANDO D'ARGENZIO, 79, of Princeton Junction, formerly of Wayne, died Sunday. She was a member of the Auxiliary of American Legion Post 171, Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

CAROLYN L. DOWNEY, 77, of Clifton, formerly of Nutley, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1986, she was a stenographer for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., East Orange, where she worked for 10 years. She was a member of St. Paul Congregational Church, Nutley. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

WILLIAM J. FAULHABER, 86, of North Bergen, formerly of Leonia, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1980, he was a longshoreman in New York City, where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of Leonia Presbyterian Church and the Men's Club, Leonia. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

MARY TOKARCZYK FEDYNICH, 90, of Cliffside Park, died Friday. Arrangements: A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

ANNA FUREY FLAHERTY, 76, of Saddle Brook died Sunday. Before retiring, she was a self-employed interior decorator for 40 years and owned an antique shop in Saddle River. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, Fair Lawn. She was a member of the Rosary Society of Maywood, the Saddle Brook Woman's Club, and the Prayer Group of the Bergen Mall Chapel. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

CATHERINE C. GIBBONS FONTAINE, 96, of Totowa, formerly of Paterson, died May 28. Before retiring in 1975, she was a registered nurse for Straight and Narrow, Paterson, where she worked for 15 years. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

FRANK FULCO, 84, of Paterson died Monday. Before retiring 12 years ago, he was a steam fitter and welder for Boilermakers Local 28, Bayonne, where he worked for 40 years. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church and a member of its Seniors, and was a member of the Pleasant Times Senior Citizens Club, both in Paterson. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

EDWARD C. FURST SR., 63, of Lodi died Sunday. He founded Furst Aircraft Co., Teterboro, and was a member of the Aircraft Maintenance Association and the Aircraft Electronics Association, which honored him as its "man of the year" in 1977 and 1997. He was a member of the Lodi Chamber of Commerce, a past trustee of Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Passaic, a board member of the American Heart Association, and a regent at Felician College, Lodi. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

ROOSEVELT T. GASS, 60, of Paterson died Thursday. Before retiring in 1992, he was an independent broker for Columbia Mutual Life Insurance. Previously, he worked for John Hancock Insurance Co. for 19 years. He was a member of First AME Zion Church, Paterson, where he was chairman of the Trustee Board and served as treasurer and usher. Arrangements: LaGarde Family Funeral Home, Clifton.

JOSEPH GAZZALE, 82, of Tinton Falls, formerly of Tenafly, died Sunday. He was a former co-owner of Maple Leaf Garden and Flower Shop, Harrington Park. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Tenafly. Arrangements: Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly.

MARY GEDE, 85, of Morristown, formerly of Garfield and Clifton, died Sunday. She had been a legal secretary. She was a former member of the Hungarian Evangelical and Reformed Church, Passaic. Arrangements: Caggiano Memorial Home for Funerals, Montclair.

MARIE KOREK GERENZ, 95, of Paterson, formerly of Saddle Brook and Garfield, died Saturday. She was born in Hungary and came to the United States in 1910. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Passaic, where she also taught Sunday School, was a Girl Scout leader, served in its Dorcas Society, and was a member of its choir. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

JOSEPHINE "JOAN" GIORDANO, 85, of Palisades Park died Monday. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

ADA GORDON, 72, of Bloomingdale died Monday. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

ADA M. COLE HAMPTON, 91, of Westwood died Saturday. She was a graduate of Memorial University, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. She was a volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross during World War II. She was a member of the United Methodist churches of Westwood and Hillsdale, where she was president of the Woman's Organization, chairman of the Administrative Board and the board of trustees, conference delegate, and organist. She was a certified lay speaker for 75 years and a founding member of the Westwood Clergy Council. She was past matron of Temple Chapter 62 and a member of Adoniram Court of Order of the Eastern Star. She had been president and chaplain of the Westwood Seniors and a member of the AARP. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

FRANK JANEIRO, 81, of Palisades Park died Wednesday. Before retiring two years ago, he was co-owner of Polifly Towing, Hackensack, for 30 years. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

JENNIE RUSSO LOFFREDO, 83, of Lodi died Sunday. Before retiring, she was a seamstress and a member of International Ladies' Garment Workers Union Local 145, Passaic. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lodi, and was a member of its Catholic Daughters. She was a member of the AARP. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

MARY MOODIE LONG, 70, of Fort Lee died Monday. Before retiring, she was an agent for Prudential Real Estate Agency, Fort Lee, where she worked for 44 years. She was a member of the Republican clubs of Fort Lee and Bergen County. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

RONALD G. LOVERICH SR., 63, of Lodi died Sunday. Before retiring in 1984, he was a police officer in Washington Township for 17 years. He was a member of the Exempt Firemen's Association, Lodi, PBA Local 206, the Honor Legion Police Department of New Jersey, and Teamsters Local 560. Arrangements: Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi.

MARY B. BEATTIE MOLYNEUX, 76, of Wall Township, formerly of Jersey City, died Friday. Before retiring in 1989, she was chief clerk for the Hudson County Probation Department, where she worked for 25 years. She was the 1976 Irishwoman of the Year, and a former member of the Rosary Society, the Mothers Club, and Knights of Columbus Council 137 Auxiliary, all at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Jersey City. She was a former officer of the Teresians and the Order of Martha. Arrangements: McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.

GERARD D. MULLIGAN, 46, of Teaneck died Saturday. He worked for Allied Waste Systems, Fairview, for 25 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

KURT H. PROFE JR., 81, of Closter died Sunday. Before retiring, he was a machinist for Aerco International, Northvale. He was an Army Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Arrangements: Moritz Funeral Home, Closter.

BEATRICE LUPO RICH, 90, of Clifton, formerly of Passaic, died Sunday. Before retiring in 1981, she owned Bea's Beauty Parlor, Passaic, where she worked for 40 years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Passaic, and a member of its Rosary Society. Arrangements: Intelisano-Scarpa Funeral Home, Clifton.

GENARO RIVERA, 64, of Little Falls died Sunday. He was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. Arrangements: Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls.

FRANCES KILLEEN ROCHETTI, 77, of North Bergen died Monday. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Nanuet. Arrangements: Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Park Ridge.

MARY FRAENZA SALERNO, 85, of Paterson died Saturday. Before retiring, she was a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Paterson, where she worked for 20 years. She also was co-owner of Rex #####, Paterson. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church and was former treasurer of its Council of Catholic Women. She was a Don Bosco co-operator. Arrangements: Della Torre Funeral Home, Paterson.

THELMA C. BOTBYL SCHMID, 90, of Haledon, formerly of Paterson, died Monday. Before retiring in 1972, she was a secretary for Columbia Savings and Loan, Fair Lawn. Arrangements: DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, Haledon.

ELLEN N. TAMBERELLI, 79, of Maywood died Sunday. Before retiring in 1990, she was a registrar for the Bergen County Board of Elections, Hackensack, where she worked for 20 years. Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Maywood.

GEORGE E. TUTUSKA, 70, of Wanaque, formerly of Wyckoff, died Sunday. He owned Open Road Driving, Wanaque. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Arrangements: Dancy Funeral Home, Caldwell.

BESSIE VAN HORN, 95, of Hackettstown, formerly of Ridgewood, died Saturday. She was a member of Christ Church and the Woman's Club, both in Ridgewood. Arrangements: Cochran Funeral Home, Hackettstown.

PHILIP VIGDOR, 80, of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Long Beach Township, formerly of Oradell, died Friday. He had been a self-employed pharmacist in Fort Lee. He was a veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Weiss Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach.

SOPHIE CIESLA ZDONEK, 82, of Garfield died Sunday. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, Garfield, and a member of its English Rosary Society. She was a member of the AARP and Holy Name Seniors, both in Garfield. Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Garfield.
