MARY M. MORALES ALIA, 91, of Fort Lee died Friday. She had been a sales clerk at Alexander's department store in New York City. She was a member of the Fort Lee Seniors. Arrangements: Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

ANDREW J. BERGMANN, 79, of Wayne died Thursday. Before retiring in 1987, he was an engineering technician for Consolidated Edison Inc. in New York City and Westchester County, where he worked for 40 years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

ROSE M. SURRUSCO BONURA, 51, of Norwood died Friday. She had been a secretary for Pan American World Airways in New York City and Rockleigh, where she worked for 10 years. She was a parishioner of Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River. Arrangements: Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Park Ridge.

EDGAR C. DAVIS, 84, of Upper Saddle River died Friday. Before retiring in 1982, he worked for Ingersoll-Rand Co. for 42 years. Arrangements: C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

FRANK J. "BUDDY" DeWAN, 81, of Waldwick died Thursday. He had been an accountant for Continental Can Co., New York City. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Luke R.C. Church, Ho-Ho-Kus. He was a volunteer at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Arrangements: Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

ANNA M. ROBERSON FIGUEROA, 82, of Paterson died Thursday. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Passaic, and its choir. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

WILLIAM J. GERDING, 48, of Garfield, formerly of Cliffside Park, died Thursday. He was a sales representative for The Home Depot in Passaic, where he worked for 10 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Garfield. Arrangements: McCorry Bros. Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

REBECCA MEDNICK GOLDMAN, 60, of Passaic died Friday. She had been a medical technologist at several local hospitals. She was a member of Hadassah and a volunteer at the YM/YWHA of Clifton-Passaic. Arrangements: Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.

MINNIE B. PARKER McCUTCHEN, 69, of Paterson died Wednesday. She had been a store manager for the Salvation Army for 15 years in Paterson, Passaic, and Hackensack. She was a member of Creech's Temple United Holy Church, Paterson, and its missionary board. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

JOHN J. McMULLEN, 89, of Fair Lawn died Friday. Before retiring in 1976, he was an administrator for the New York City Comptroller's Office. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church, Glen Rock. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

ROBERT B. MOORE, 86, of the Holiday City West section of Toms River, formerly of Carlstadt, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1980, he was a chemical engineer for Engelhard Industries, Newark, where he worked for 12 years, and Mallinckrodt Chemical Works, Jersey City, where he worked for 26 years. Arrangements: Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, Toms River.

FREDERICK W. RAY, 83, of Edgewater died Thursday. Before retiring in 1977, he was an operator for Alcoa, Edgewater. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Edgewater. He was a member of Fort Lee Gospel Church and the Edgewater Republican Club. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

WALTER L. SCRUGGS, 54, of Scotch Plains, formerly of Passaic, died Tuesday. He had been vice president and chief financial officer of Elcat Inc., a financial analyst for Engelhard Corp., and a cost accountant for T.J. Lipton and Co. and Johnson & Johnson Corp. He had served in the Army ROTC and was a member of the Omega Psi Phi. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

WILLIAM SHEEHAN, 80, of Fair Lawn died Thursday. He was born in Ireland. Before retiring in 1990, he was a doorman for Resnick and Co. at Gracie Mews, where he worked for 10 years, and previously owned the Anchor Bar and Grill, both in New York City. He was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

LEATHA BROWN SMITH, 88, of Carthage, N.C., formerly of Hackensack, died Tuesday. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Southern Pines, N.C., and had been a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: Simon Funeral Home, Southern Pines.

GAIL WALSH, 48, of Dumont died May 26. She was the director of operations at the Dellridge and Woodcliff Lake Manor care centers. Previously, she was director of nursing at the Woodcrest Center, New Milford. She was a graduate of the Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing, Montclair. Arrangements: Minchin Funeral Home, Paterson.
