VITINA FRANGIPANE ALINERI, 87, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Woodcliff Lake, died Wednesday. She had been a beautician at John's Beauty Shop, Lyndhurst, where she worked for 30 years. Arrangements: Nazare Memorial Home, Lyndhurst.

FELIX ARROYO, 87, of Bergenfield died Wednesday. He was born in Puerto Rico. He had been a metal worker and painter for Kurt Versen Inc., Westwood. He was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

ROBERT BALANDA, 28, of Fort Lee, formerly of Garfield, died Thursday. He was a parishioner of Most Holy Name R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

ANNA CARNATHAN BOYDELL, 87, of West Milford died Thursday. She was a former member of Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church and a member of the People's Park Seniors, both in Paterson. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

JADWIGA DUBONOWICZ BOZYK, 87, of Englewood died Tuesday. Born in Poland, she came to the United States in 1948. Before retiring in 1982, she was a housemaid. Arrangements: Nesbitt Funeral Home, Englewood.

EAMON J. BRENNAN JR., 42, of Beech Lake, Pa., formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Wednesday. He was a member of New York Carpenters Union 2090. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

MATILDA GIMENIS BROUGHTON, 86, of Little Ferry died Wednesday. She had been a hairdresser at Mildred's Sunlite Beauty Salon, Jersey City. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church, Little Ferry. Arrangements: Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, Little Ferry.

MARY A. DeGONDEA BUCK, 86, of Lodi died Thursday. Arrangements: Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi.

ANN S. BURNS, 66, of Wildwood Crest, formerly of Little Falls, died Tuesday. Arrangements: T. J. McGowen Funeral Home, Garnerville, N.Y.

MARIE T. VEGLIANTE CALISO, 81, of Palisades Park died Thursday. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Palisades Park. Arrangements: Blackley Funeral Home, Ridgefield.

ALFRED "CANDY" CANDELORO, 94, of Ridgefield Park died Thursday. Born in Italy, he came to the United States in 1918. Before retiring in 1976, he was an electrical contractor for the Union City Board of Education, where he worked for 10 years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. He was a member of Chappie's Bowling League, Union City. Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

PATRICK J. CAULFIELD, 80, of Hackensack died Tuesday. He had been a professor at St. Peter's College, Jersey City, chairman of its education department, and director of its reading center. A graduate of St. Peter's, he received a master's degree from Fordham University in the Bronx. He was an Army veteran of World War II and recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He had been a leader of Boy Scout Troop 5, Hackensack, and received the Archbishop of Newark's Award for Catholic Scouting. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

MARIA CIURCIU, 81, of Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Hackensack, died Thursday. She had served on the Bergen County Board of Elections. Arrangements: Hackensack Funeral Home.

WILLIAM A. DeLOOPER, 75, of Lodi died Thursday. Before retiring, he was an inspector for the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles, Lodi, and Cape May Court House, for 25 years. He was a life member of the Lodi Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He was a trustee of First Union Methodist Church, Wildwood Crest. Arrangements: Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi.

ANGELA CONAHAY EHRMAN, 62, of Ringwood, formerly of Riverdale, died Thursday. Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

FRANK S. GANNON, 89, of Paramus died Monday. Before retiring, he was a salesman for General Foods, Westchester, N.Y. He was a graduate of Fordham University in the Bronx. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion, Leonia. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

BARBARA EASTMEAD HERREL, 89, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Bogota and Maywood, died Saturday. Arrangements: National Cremation Service, Charlotte, N.C.

WILLIAM JENKINS JR., 77, of Wanaque died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1988, he worked for Mack-Wayne Plastic Co., Pequannock, for 15 years. Previously, he worked for Erie Lackawanna Railroad for 24 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: D'Agostino Funeral Home, Wanaque.

BARBARA E. HARTMAYER KENYON, 88, of Hawthorne died Thursday. Before retiring in 1979, she was an industrial nurse for General Electric Co. in Paterson. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

EDWARD F. KING, 70, of Emerson died Thursday. Before retiring two years ago, he was a bookkeeper for Kaplan Bros., Manhattan, where he worked for 20 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

FLORENCE YANSON KOEBER, 86, of Budd Lake, formerly of Hawthorne, died Wednesday. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

MARY MORROW McGORRY, 88, of Ridgewood, formerly of Ridgefield Park, died Wednesday. Before retiring, she owned Emerald Food Store, Ridgefield Park, for 35 years. She was a member of the Rosary Society at Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Ridgewood. Arrangements: Vorhees Funeral Home, Ridgefield Park.

FRANK W. McLAUGHLIN, 78, of Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of Wyckoff, died Thursday. He had been a tile contractor and ceramic tile setter for 35 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, Vero Beach.

JOHN MOTIEL, 83, of Garfield died Thursday. Before retiring, he worked for System Development Corp., Paramus. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

GERTRUDE E. HOFER QUIGLEY, 85, of Cliffside Park died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1985, she was a secretary for Lever Bros., Edgewater, where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of the Fort Lee Seniors. Arrangements: Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

JAMES R. RALLS, 47, of Wyckoff died Wednesday. He was a marketing manager for BFI Furniture Corp., New York City. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

WILLIAM W. ROSS, 92, of Bogota died Saturday. Before retiring in 1973, he was an electrician for Public Service Electric and Gas Co. in Hackensack, where he worked for 40 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Bogota. He was a former captain and life member of Engine Company 1 of the Bogota Fire Department. Arrangements: Petrik Funeral Home, Bogota.

ANN T. "ANITA" SAVIN SALVESEN, 64, of North Bergen died Wednesday. She was a receptionist for United Embroidery in North Bergen. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

JOHN SAXTON, 84, of Paterson died Jan. 3. Before retiring, he worked for Merrick Scale Co., Passaic, for 25 years. He was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church, Paterson. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

WILLIAM "JEFF" SMITH, 55, of Lyndhurst died Thursday. He had been a facilities construction manager for Summit Bank in Hackensack. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.

FLORENCE L. SALONEN STEPHENS, 83, of Forked River, formerly of Paramus and Teaneck, died Wednesday. She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church, Paramus. Arrangements: Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, Toms River.

ETHEL M. SUSKEWICZ, 84, of West Milford died Thursday. Before retiring, she was a bookkeeper for Greenwood Adjustments, West Milford. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.

THE REV. JOHN A. TRACY, 75, of Hawthorne died Wednesday. Before retiring in 1995, he was the administrator and pastor of St. Bridget R.C. Church, North Bergen, and a member of its Knights of Columbus. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University and Immaculate Conception Seminary. He was ordained a priest in 1952. He also had served at St. James R.C. Church, Newark; Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Secaucus; and as chaplain at St. Mary Hospital, Hoboken. He served for 34 years at St. Stephen R.C. Church, Kearny, where he was dean of the West Hudson Deanery. He had been president of the board of trustees of the Kearny Public Library. Arrangements: Condon Funeral Home, Kearny.

JEAN MILLER WENZWIC, 70, of Paramus died Thursday. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

JOHN ZAPPARRATA, 77, of Elmwood Park died Thursday. He was born in Italy and came to the United States 40 years ago. Before retiring in 1989, he owned Parkway Auto Body and Hoxey Auto Repair Inc., Elmwood Park, for 30 years. Arrangements: Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.
