ANTOINETTE ARGENTI, 80, of West Nyack, formerly of Northvale, died Wednesday. She had been a manager in the garment industry. Arrangements: Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, Northvale.

LOUISE RINALDI BALCHAN, 76, of Rutherford, formerly of Paterson, died Wednesday. She was a former parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church, Paterson, and was a member of its Rosary Society. Arrangements: Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.

CATHERINE PRIMERANO BARBALACO, 68, of Lyndhurst died Monday. She was a secretary for the Lyndhurst Tax Assessor's office. Arrangements: Nazare Memorial Home, Lyndhurst.

JOSEPHINE DAS BARON, 68, of Clifton died July 2. Before retiring in 1995, she was a registered nurse at Beth Israel Hospital, Passaic, where she worked for 32 years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Passaic. Arrangements: Minchin Funeral Home, Paterson.

RITA BITTNER, 73, of Guilderland, N.Y., formerly of Ridgewood and Waldwick, died Tuesday. Arrangements: Hans Funeral Home, Albany, N.Y.

TIN-RONG CHANG, 82, of Wayne died Wednesday. She was born in China and came to the United States in 1979. She was a member of Christian Evangelical Mission Church, Towaco. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

ALLEN CLAYTON JR. of Paterson died Tuesday. He worked for the Northside Community Center, Paterson. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

BETTY FRANK COHN, 85, of Fort Lee died Tuesday. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

JAMES DI GIORGIO, 89, of Garfield died Tuesday. Before retiring, he was a mill worker. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2867, Garfield. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

DUSAN DUZIC, 69, of Fairview died Tuesday. He was born in Croatia and came to the United States in 1970. Before retiring, he was a doorman at the Hilton Hotel in Fort Lee. Arrangements: A. K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

ELEANOR M. GREENE of Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of Ridgewood, died Tuesday. Arrangements: C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

KATHRYN M. O'BRIEN, 65, of Westwood died Sunday. Before retiring in 1997, she was executive director of customer relations for Sony Corporation of America in Park Ridge. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew R.C. Church, Westwood. She was a member of the board of the Pascack Mental Health Center, Park Ridge, and a member of the Phi Zeta Kappa Society of Fairleigh Dickinson University and the Emerson Library Book Club. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

ANNIE M. B. PALMER, 94, of Paterson died Tuesday. She attended Christ Temple Baptist Church, Paterson, and was a former member of Miller Chapel Methodist Church, Little Rock, S.C. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

WALTER I. PAUSELIUS SR., 73, of the Holiday City section of Berkeley Township, formerly of Dumont and Hasbrouck Heights, died Wednesday. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3484, Saddle Brook. He was past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge 2001, Paramus. PAULINE C. GARDNER QUEEN, 75, of Clifton died Monday. Arrangements: Gorny and Opuda Lakeview Memorial Home, Clifton.

NELLIE TYBORSKI RAMBONE, 92, of Edgewater died Tuesday. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Edgewater. Arrangements: McCorry Bros. Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

PETER H. SHANNON, 86, of Clifton died Tuesday. He was chairman of Linde-Griffith Construction Co., Newark. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University. He was a member of the national and New Jersey Societies of Professional Engineers and the Upper Montclair Country Club, Clifton. He was a parishioner of St. Clare R.C. Church, Clifton. MARY L. MERO THIVIERGE, 82, of Bergenfield died Tuesday. Before retiring in 1990, she worked for The Florence Shop, Bergenfield. Previously, she worked for New York Telephone Co. She was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church, Bergenfield, and a member of its Rosary and Altar Society, Catholic Daughters, and Seniors. Arrangements: Riewerts Memorial Home, Bergenfield.

ROBERT O. TRAVIS JR. of Hackensack died Sunday. He worked for Hackensack Roofing Co. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

LUIGI TRIPODI, 53, of Cliffside Park died Wednesday. He was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1969. He was a restaurant manager for Sbarro, West Nyack. Arrangements: A. K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.

BARBARA STOOTHOFF WARNER, 68, of Pomp ton Plains died Tuesday. Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.
