PAUL G. AQUINO, 56, of Pequannock died Sunday. He was a baritone for City Opera, New York. He had also performed with various national and international opera companies, at European music festivals, and on cruise ships. He was a graduate of Manhattan School of Music, where he received a master's degree. He was the soloist for First Presbyterian Church, Englewood, and for Congregation B'nai Jesherun. He also was a business analyst coordinator for Becton Dickinson and Co. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

ANN L. BELDING, 73, of Wayne died Monday. She had been the registrar of vital statistics in Wayne. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

DINAH L. BLANDS of Englewood died Sunday. She had been a home health aide. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Englewood. Arrangements: Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, Hackensack.

ROBERT W. BOSSERT of Upper Saddle River died Sunday. Arrangements: C.& C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

ANNA KUREK BRIGANDI, 78, of Ridgefield died Sunday. She was a member of the Ridgefield Seniors. Arrangements: Edward T. Ried Home for Funerals, Kearny.

JOSEPH CASTELLANO, 95, of Lodi died Sunday. Before retiring 18 years ago, he was a maintenance worker for the Garden State Parkway for 25 years. He also worked for United Piece Dye Works, Lodi. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Lodi. He was founder, umpire, and coach of the Lodi Old Timers. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.

SERGIO CLAUDIO, 79, of Totowa, formerly of Hoboken, died Sunday. He was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1966. Before retiring in 1991, he was a longshoreman for Universal/Bayonne Army Base. He had served in the Italian Navy. He was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. He was a member of the Madonna Dei Martiri, Hoboken. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

SYLVIA CARDONE CONIGLIO, 85, of Cliffside Park, formerly of Union City, died Sunday. Before retiring, she worked for the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union Local 148, Union City. She was a parishioner of Epiphany R.C. Church, Cliffside Park, and a former president of St. Anthony's Society at St. Rocco R.C. Church, Union City. Arrangements: Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, Fort Lee.

ALBERT COSTALES, 83, of Montvale died Sunday. He had been an architect for 45 years and worked on the design of John F. Kennedy International Airport. Arrangements: Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Park Ridge.

CATHERINE M. McDONALD COYLE, 80, of Clifton died Sunday. Before retiring in 1992, she was a waitress at Mario's Restaurant, Clifton. Arrangements: Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.

JOHN KOPLISH of West Milford, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, died Monday. Before retiring, he was a tunnel worker and member of Tunnel Workers Union Local 147, New York City. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.

ROSA A. JOURNEY KOTLABA, 96, of Green Brook, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, died Sunday. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Stony Hill R.C. Church, Watchung. Arrangements: Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung.

THADDEUS KOZLOWSKI, 81, of Rutherford died Monday. Before retiring, he was a data processing manager for Fisher Stevens, Wayne. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Rutherford. He was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church and a member of the Old Guard, both in Rutherford. Arrangements: Macagna-Diffily Funeral Home, Rutherford.

OLGA MELNICK LINTNER, 86, of Garfield died Sunday. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, Garfield. She was a member of the Clifton Seniors and AARP. Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Garfield.

HERBERT F. LOEFFLER, 92, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Wallington, Passaic, and Clifton, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1975, he was a machinist for Continental Can Co., Jersey City. Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

FORTUNATA "FANNY" AMATO MOLININI, 82, of West New York died Saturday. Before retiring, she was a seamstress for Betty Page Dress Shop, West New York. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

JOHN MURPHY JR., 48, of Stansbury Park, Utah, formerly of North Bergen, died Wednesday. Before retiring as a staff sergeant, he served in the Army for 20 years. He was a veteran of the Persian Gulf war. Arrangements: Leber Funeral Home, Union City.

JEAN PAKULNIEWICZ, 84, of Lyndhurst died Sunday. She was born in Poland. Before retiring in 1978, she was an assembler for RCA in Harrison. She was a parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church, Lyndhurst, and a member of its Rosary Society. She was a member of the Lyndhurst Friendship Club. Arrangements: Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst.

MARY R. NEMEC PALACH, 77, of Passaic died Monday. Before retiring in 1980, she was a finisher for Jack-Finn Clothing, Passaic, where she worked for 10 years. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

ALMA BROWN PASTERNAK, 74, of Garfield died Sunday. Before retiring in 1990, she was a bookkeeper for County Trust Co., Garfield. She was parishioner of Most Holy Name R.C. Church, Garfield, and a member of its Seniors Club. She was a member of the Golden Agers and AARP. Arrangements: Wozniak Home for Funerals, Wallington.

ALBERT POUBIAN, 72, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson, died Saturday. He owned Al's Carbonic Gas Inc., Paterson. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

ANTHONY L. RANDAZZO, 80, of Paramus died Saturday. Before retiring in 1990, he was chief financial officer for Alloy & Stainless Inc., Montvale, where he worked for 10 years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

STACEY READING, 35, of Lodi, formerly of East Rutherford and Teaneck, died Sunday. She worked in customer relations for Howard Express. Previously, she worked for Clipper Express, Jersey City. Arrangements: Nazare Memorial Home, Lyndhurst.

ROBERT A. ROBINSON, 69, of Cape May, formerly of Wayne and Ridgewood, died Saturday. Before retiring, he was self-employed at B&P Environmental, Oakland. He was a square-dance caller for Spinning Wheels, Wayne. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

ROBERT SAIMSON, 78, of Sealevel N.C., formerly of Garfield, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1976, he served in the merchant marine for 35 years. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, and was a member of the American Legion in Garfield. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

ANNE D'ERRICO SALERNO, 79, of Clifton died Sunday. Before retiring in 1985, she was a finisher for Hoffmann-LaRoche Inc., Nutley, where she worked for 20 years, and was a member of its Roche Retirees. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew R.C. Church and a member of the Seniors, both in Clifton. Arrangements: Allwood Funeral Home, Clifton.

MICHAEL SKAP JR., 55, of Passaic died Sunday. He was born in Germany and came to the United States in 1950. He had been a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service in Paterson. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Passaic. Arrangements: Marrocco Memorial Chapel, Clifton.

JOYCE I. MENTES SONTAG, 58, of Mahwah died Sunday. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

GRACE G. GRIMALDI THOMSON, 78, of Hackensack, died Monday. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

CATHERINE "RINA" COLLODEL TONON, 82, of Katy, Texas, formerly of Fair Lawn, died Saturday. She was born in Italy. Before retiring this year, she was assistant director of the Notingham Country Day School, Katy. She was a parishioner of Epiphany of the Lord R.C. Church, Katy, and a former parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church, Fair Lawn, where she was a member of its Third Order of St. Francis and Rosary Society. THOMAS S. WIECZOREK, 74, of Saddle Brook died Sunday. Before retiring, he was an electronic technician for Singer-Kearfott Corp., Little Falls, where he worked for 35 years. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic. He was past president and treasurer of the Senior Citizens Club and a former coach of the Babe Ruth League, both in Saddle Brook. He was a member of AARP and Ham Operation's Club of Bergen County. Arrangements: Edward F. Kugler Community Home for Funerals, Saddle Brook.

HOWARD WOODSON, 89, of Teaneck died Thursday. Before retiring in 1972, he worked in the security department of the U.S. Postal Service in Brooklyn for 37 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

MELVIN J. WORDLEY, 84, of Glen Rock died Friday. Before retiring in 1983, he was a personnel supervisor for New Jersey Bell, Newark, where he worked for 50 years, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 145 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 850, Glen Rock. He was a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church, Glen Rock. He was chairman of the Planning Board and of the Green Ecology & Environment Group, a member of the Republican Club, served on the board of trustees of Friends of the Library, and was treasurer and past president of the Independence Day Association, all in Glen Rock. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn.

JOSEPH YUNKER, 85, of Ridgewood, formerly of Cliffside Park, died Saturday. Before retiring, he was a machinist for Phillip A. Hunt, Palisades Park. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion in Cliffside Park and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 337, Fairview. He was a volunteer for the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce. Arrangements: C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.
