AMELIA SANTANELLO BALDASSANO, 77, of Park Ridge died Thursday. Before retiring, she was a bank officer for 20 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge. She was a volunteer at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood. Arrangements: Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Park Ridge.

WILLIAM BARTON SR., 74, of the Holiday City West section of Berkeley Township, formerly of Cliffside Park, died Friday. Before retiring in 1998, he was a safety coordinator and service manager for Blickman Equipment Corp., Union City, where he worked for 55 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Toms River. Arrangements: Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River.

DANIEL L. BENSON, 88, of Teaneck, formerly of Englewood, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1977, he was a foreman for Selbach-Meyer Steel and Iron Construction, West New York, where he worked for 35 years. He then owned Benson Construction. Arrangements: Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.

MAYME TITUS BLUNDELL, 92, of Jefferson Township died Friday. Before retiring, she was an accountant for Pfizer Drug Co. in Clifton. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Senior Citizens, both in the Milton section of Jefferson Township. She also was a Girl Scout leader in Milton and Paterson. Arrangements: Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.

ELIZABETH TURLEY BRYDON, 47, of Wyckoff died Sept. 20. She was an SGI Buddhist and a graduate of the Integral School of Yoga, Fair Lawn. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.

VITO F. CAMOBRECO, 90, of Woodcliff Lake, formerly of Westwood, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1992, he was a traffic manager for Caretta Trucking Co., Paramus. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Woodcliff Lake, and a founding member of the Spring Valley Lions Club. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

GRAZIA DeGENNARO, 69, of Totowa died Friday. She was born in Italy. She had been a seamstress. She was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. Arrangements: Santangelo Funeral Home, West Paterson.

MARIANO FODERA, 79, of Rutherford died Saturday. Arrangements: Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford.

NANCY CIRAMI GARFOLE, 79, of Ridgefield Park died Friday. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Arrangements: G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, Hackensack.

ESTELLE COLLINS GELB of Pomona, N.Y., formerly of Fort Lee, died Friday. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

DAVID GLENN, 81, of North Bergen died Thursday. Before retiring, he owned Hudson Electric, Union City, for 35 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Jewish War Veterans. He was a member of Temple Beth El, North Bergen, and was a Hadassah associate. Arrangements: Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack.

ELEANOR PESIN GOLDBERG of Oradell died Saturday. She was past president of Hadassah and a member of Temple Sholom, River Edge. Arrangements: Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus.

JOHN M. HORSTING, 40, of Littleton, Colo., formerly of Pequannock, died Wednesday. He had been a superintendent for HITT Contracting, Atlanta. Arrangements: M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

VIOLA MELE LANE, 85, of Hawthorne died Friday. Before retiring, she worked for the Grand Union supermarket in Ridgewood. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne, and a member of its Rosary Society and Columbiettes. She was a member of the Golden Horizon Senior Citizens and Fire Company 4 Auxiliary, both in Hawthorne. Arrangements: Scillieri Hawthorne Memorial Home, Hawthorne.

LOUISE LETIZIA, 73, of Wayne died Saturday. She was a parishioner of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, Wayne, and a member of its Prime Time Seniors. Arrangements: Moore's Home for Funerals, Wayne.

MARY NAILEN MANGINO, 75, of Lake Ariel, Pa., formerly of Elmwood Park, died Friday. Arrangements: Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.

PATRICK F. McNEILLY, 80, of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Rutherford, died Friday. He was born in Ireland. Before retiring in 1992, he owned Patrick J. McNeilly and Sons, Jersey City, for 44 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights, where he served as a Eucharistic minister and was a former member of the executive board and a parliamentarian of its Home School program. He also was past president of the Jeffersonian Democratic Club, Hasbrouck Heights, and a former member of the Bergen County Ski Club, River Edge. Arrangements: Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.

BARBARA E. MECHLER of Woodcliff Lake, formerly of West New York and Cliffside Park, died Saturday. She had been a textile worker. Arrangements: Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

CONCETTA ALIAMO MERENDINO, 84, of Garfield died Friday. Before retiring in 1980, she was a sales associate for Bambergers department store in Paramus, where she worked for 20 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church, Garfield. Arrangements: Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.

WILLIAM P. MURRAY, 83, of Hawthorne died Saturday. Before retiring in 1971, he was an accountant for Exxon Corp. in Pelham, N.Y. He was an Army veteran. Arrangements: Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, Franklin Lakes.

ENNA W. MOORE NELSON, 94, of Wayne died Friday. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kearny, and its Women's Club and Guild. She had been a volunteer for the American Red Cross in East Orange and the Methadone Clinic in Kearny. Arrangements: Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne.

KAI P. OLSEN, 75, of Wayne died Saturday. He was born in Denmark. He had owned Hawthorne Kitchens. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge in Hawthorne. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

STANLEY R. PELCHER, 61, of East Rutherford died Saturday. Before retiring in 1988, he was a machinist for Precise Metal Parts, Emerson, where he worked for 25 years. Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington.

EDWARD PUTERKO, 81, of Wallington died Thursday. Before retiring in 1985, he was a traffic manager for Stauffer Chemical Co., Passaic, where he worked for 40 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a life member, past commander, and 45-year quartermaster of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2640, Wallington, and post secretary of the Overseas Veterans Association. He had been a councilman, fire commissioner, police commissioner, and served on the Recreation Commission, all in Wallington. He also was a member of Truck Company 1 of the Wallington Volunteer Fire Department and the Exempt Firemen's Association. He was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Cathedral, Passaic. Arrangements: Kamienski Funeral Home, Wallington.

AGNES T. McHUGH REYNOLDS of Ramsey died Saturday. Before retiring, she was a receptionist for the Shubert Theater Co., New York City. She was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Ramsey. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

HAROLD SMITH SR., 88, of Tenafly died Saturday. He had been a former assistant postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service in Tenafly. He was an Army veteran of World War II and past commander of American Legion Post 167, Tenafly. Arrangements: Barrett Funeral Home, Tenafly.

STELLA A. NOTTE TANTILLO, 83, of Lodi, formerly of Lyndhurst, died Friday. Arrangements: Alesso Funeral Home, Lodi.

ROBERT H. VERRONE, 67, of Lincoln Park, formerly of Paterson, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1996, he was an art teacher at Passaic Valley Regional High School, Little Falls, where he worked for 34 years. He was a graduate of Montclair State University. He was a member of the Lincoln Park Democratic Club and the National and New Jersey Education associations. Arrangements: Keri Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln Park.
