META STRICKER ADAM, 93, of Waldwick died Thursday. She was born in Germany. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Saddle River. Arrangements: Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood.

IRVING M. BAKER, 77, of Hackensack, formerly of River Edge, died Thursday. Before retiring, he was the co-owner of Gallant & Wein Corp., New York City. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Temple Sholom, River Edge. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

ANTONIA PICCINICH BUSANIC, 79, of Cliffside Park, formerly of Hoboken, died Friday. She was born in Croatia and came to the United States in 1976. Arrangements: Konopka Funeral Home, North Bergen.

MICHAEL J. CALLEO, 48, of Mahwah died Thursday. He had owned Calleo Drywall, Mahwah. Arrangements: Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.

JOYCE A. BROWN CARLOUGH, 71, of Newton, formerly of Mahwah, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1993, she was a customer service clerk for Selected Risks Insurance, Branchville, where she worked for 13 years. Arrangements: Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, Newton.

ARTHUR COUCH, 80, of Secaucus died Friday. He had been superintendent of schools in Secaucus. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3776, Secaucus. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Secaucus and the Upper Montclair Country Club. Arrangements: Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.

JOSEPH A. DiPASQUALE, 61, of Totowa died Friday. He had been a U.S. Bankruptcy Court trustee for the District of New Jersey and a medical administrator for John Niccollai Medical Practice, Little Falls. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. He was a member of the Italian Circle, Paterson, and the finance committee of the New Jersey Democratic Party. He also served as executive secretary of the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

JOSEPH DRURY of Ramsey, formerly of River Edge, died Thursday. He was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Ramsey, and a former parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, River Edge. Arrangements: Beaugard Funeral Home, River Edge.

LYNN K. KESTNER DUNKERLEY, 65, of Wayne and St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., died Friday. She was a member of the Pine Lakes Women's and Garden clubs and the Historical Commission, all in Wayne. She also was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Pompton Lakes, and the Mayflower Society. Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.

ROSE DeSOCIO ELISANO, 90, of North Bergen died Thursday. She was a member of the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Libera R.C. Church, West New York. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

MICHAEL E. GIBSON, 60, of North Haledon died Friday. Before retiring, he was a machine operator for Okonite Cable, Paterson. Arrangements: Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, Franklin Lakes.

JAMES GRIMSHAW JR., 77, of Little Falls died Thursday. Before retiring in 1982, he was a foreman for New Jersey Bell Telephone in Clifton, where he worked for 35 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Little Falls. He was past master of Masonic Lodge 263, past patron of Chapter 224 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of the Jolly Seniors, all in Little Falls, and a member of Salaam Temple AAOMNS, Livingston. Arrangements: Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls.

SALVATORE GUGLIELMI, 89, of North Bergen died Thursday. Before retiring, he was a fireman engineer. Arrangements: Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.

THOMAS HYLAND, 86, of Weehawken died Thursday. Before retiring, he was a painter for Avis Car Rental in New York City. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus.

ANNE BUSH KIRSCHBAUM, 59, of Hawthorne died Thursday. Arrangements: Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.

UNITAS LEWIS, 35, of Maplewood, formerly of Bloomfield, died Tuesday. He had been a chemical operator for ISP Corp., Wayne. Previously, he was a chemical operator for Hoffmann-LaRoche Inc., Nutley. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Passaic.

RUTH SINGER, 101, of Clifton died Friday. Before retiring, she was a teacher for the Elizabeth school system. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

PAT WIENER SLUTSKY, 90, of Paterson died Thursday. She was a volunteer at Barnert Memorial Hospital, Paterson. Arrangements: Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn.

SELVIN T. THOMPSON, 65, of Paterson died Monday. He was born in Jamaica. Arrangements: Bragg Funeral Home, Paterson.

JOSEPH P. VANDERMAST, 83, of Whiting, formerly of Elmwood Park, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1980, he was a head custodian for the Elmwood Park Board of Education, where he worked for 15 years. He was past president of the Elmwood Park Senior Leisure Club. Arrangements: Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, Whiting.
