Charles "Chuck" Bannister
Services for Charles "Chuck" Bannister, 52, of Calhoun were held Dec. 26 at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church in Calhoun with Father Donatus Grunloh officiating.
Services under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Bannister died Dec. 22 in Monroe.
Bannister was a loving father and grandfather, always helpful and kind. He was quick with a joke and never met a stranger. He will be greatly issued by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include two daughter, Beth Price and husband Trey of Downsville, Amy Hollingsworth of West Monroe; mother, Catherine Bannister of Calhoun; brother, Dan Bannister of Calhoun; two sisters, Diane Bannister of West Monroe, Mary Kay Matlock of Baycliff, three grandchildren, Jeremy Hollingsworth, Camryn Price, and Keegan Price and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Roy Geter
Services for Roy Geter, 81 of West Monroe were held Dec. 26 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Jerry Byrnes officiating.
Interment was held at the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Geter died Dec. 22 after a lengthy illness, he was born in Natchitoches and became a decorated solider of WW II. He retired after over 40 years of services from Louisiana Industries. He was a wonderful father to his five cc children. Geter was preceded in death by his life of 59 years Jewel Geter.
Survivors include his children, Glenda Starke, Kenneth Geter, Jerry Geter, Patricia Cichirillo all of West Monroe, Paul Geter of Newbury, England; 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; sisters, Rene Tyson of Goodwill, Anna Lee Armstrong of Bastrop; brother, Thad Geter of Biloxi, Miss.
Pallbearers were Joe Cichirillo, Jim Corley, Robbie Taylor, Jr., Jamie Taylor, Glen Robeson, Shawn Neighbors.

Charles Edward Gunther, Sr.
Services for Mr. Charles Edward Gunther, Sr., 76, of Monroe, were held Dec. 26 in Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Monroe, with Rev. Henry Harbuck officiating.
Burial was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Gunther, a retired Lab Tech for Louisiana DOTD and lifetime member of The Assembly of God Church, died Dec. 22, at his residence.
Survivors include his children, Tim Gunther of Monroe, Charles Gunther, Jr. of Eros, and Angela Gunther Powell of Panama City, FL; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Bob Gunther of Monroe; and sisters, Peggy Shaw of Monroe and Betty Lightsey of Monroe.
Pallbearers were Matthew Gunther, Ben Gunther, Daniel Gunther, Jim Powell, Cecil Blocker, and Matthew Martin. Honorary pallbearer will be Dan McDuff.

Mr. Marvin A. Haley
Funeral Services for Mr. Marvin A. Haley, 82, of West Monroe were held Dec, 26 at the Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church in Calhoun, LA.with Rev. Jimmy Masters and Rev. Alton Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun.
Haley died Dec. 24 at his residence in West Monroe after a lengthy illness. Haley was a member of the Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church and was retired from Manville Paper Mill. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the 102 Infantry during World War II.
Survivors include his wife Vera Haley, daughter, Sandy Reeves and husband David, son, Larry Haley and wife JoAnn grandchildren, Wendy Erdman and husband Keith, Todd Haley and wife Deanna, Tricia Nadler and husband Chris, Dave Reeves and wife Ann, great grandchildren, Tanner Erdman, Josh Haley, Christopher Haley, Addison Haley, Jacob Nadler, and Anna Claire Nadler, brother, Rodney Haley and wife Dorothy, sister, Inez Renfrow.

Letha Johnson
Graveside services for Miss Letha Johnson, 82, of Monroe, were held Dec. 27, in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Marcelle Crow officiating. Services were under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Johnson, former owner of Letha's Dress Shop "The Most Walked About Clothes in Town", died Dec. 24, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church and a past president of Quota Club. Her father, Sidney Johnson; mother, Lillie Johnson Miller and stepfather, Harvey J. Miller preceded her in death.
Survivors include her special friends, Robert E. Schott, Jr. and wife Karen; niece, Louella Arceneaux and husband Paul; and nephew, Sidney Earl Johnson and wife, Vera.

Warren Thomas Landry
Services for Warren Thomas Landry, 56 of West Monroe, were held Dec. 27 at Hopewell Methodist Church in Blackjack with Rev. Mark Theriot officiating.
Interment was held at Blackjack Cemetery in Blackjack.
Landry was previously employed at Delta Ouachita Technical College as machine shop instructor in West Monroe and was currently employed at Swanson Correctional Center for Youth (SCCY) as a correctional officer in Monroe. He received hid BA degree from University of Louisiana at Monroe. Landry was born in Hathaway on May 11, 947 to the union of Woodrow and Verna Landry of Hathaway and died Dec. 23 in West Monroe after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Diane Landry; step son, Chris Lawson; sister, Yvonne Landry; two brothers, Roderick and Douglas Landry; four nieces, two nephews and a longtime canine companion and friend, Heidi Marie Landry.

Elizabeth Hayton Hill Reitzammer
Services for Elizabeth Hayton Hill Reitzammer, 87, of Monroe were held Dec. 29 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe with Dr. Terry Hughes officiating.
Interment was held at the Tripp Cemetery near Arkansas City, Ark. under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe.
Reitzammer passed away Dec. 26 at St. Francis Hospital after a very brief illness.
Reitzammer was born Dec. 14, 1918 in Pine Bluff, Ark. to Raymond and Naomi Hayton. She owned and operated A-1 Auto Upholsterers for 30 years. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and Faith Sunday School Class.
Survivors include grandchildren, Kathy Grove of Bells, Tex., Loretta Landry of Lewisville, Texas, Libby Chambers of Bynum Texas, and Ray Hill of West Monroe; daughter in law, Barbaa hill; step sons, Paul Reitzammer Jr. ad George Edward Reitzammer; six great grandchildren and tow great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Fred Hill, Sam Hill, Onie Hopkins, Pete Reitzammer, Ed Reitzammer, and A. C. Fletcher.

Daisy Causey Roberts
Services for Daisy Causey Roberts, 94, of Monroe were held Dec. 27 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Weldon Bares and Rev. Joe Solomon officiating.
Interment was held at the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe.
Roberts was born April 22, 1909 at Enterprise and went to be with her Lord on Dec. 22.
Roberts was a loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Daisy was a member of the Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church, the Friendship Sunday School Class, and the Golden Maturity Circle.
Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Roberts, Sr., and her son Jesse H. Roberts, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruby Jenkins and son Clarence L. "Buddy" Roberts, Jr.; special daughter-in-law, Mary Roberts; grandchildren, Dr. Jesse H. Roberts, Jr., Judy Weatherford, Cheryl Arnold, Serena Jenkins, Clint Jenkins, Kevin Roberts, Stacy Griffin, Glen Roberts and Cyndi Weaver; 22 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Dr. Jesse H. Roberts, Jr., Glenn Roberts, Clint Jenkins, Chaz Wink, Dr. Jesse Robert III and Jason Roberts.
Honorary Pallbearers were Kevin Roberts, Jeremy Roberts, Jamie Roberts, Matt Roberts, Billy Jackson, Phillip Weatherford, Jimmy Weaver, Danny Arnold, Marvin Wink and J. C. Taylor.

Danny Tolar
Memorial Services for Danny Tolar, 60 of Farmerville, were held Dec. 27, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Jerry Whitman officiating.
Danny died Dec. 23 at his residence on Lake Darbonne. He was employed as a pipeline surveyor.
Danny was a loving father, son, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a wonderful gift from God and has gone home to be with him.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother Leatrice Roye, step-father Wade Roye, infant son Rodney Tolar, and brother C.E. (Coot) Tolar.
Survivors include his wife Alisa Tolar of Farmerville, father C.D. (Pete) Tolar, Sr. and wife Mable of Pine, CO., daughter Jennifer Kitchens and husband Robert of Sacramento, CA., son Kevin Tolar and wife Tracy of Choudrant, and daughter Dana Flores of West Monroe, grandchildren Jenny Tolar, Christinia Tolar, Nathan Flores, Katelynn Dear, Lucas Tolar, Johnni Tolar, and Matthew Reeves and two nephews and close special friend, Dot Tolar.
