BESSIE A. SHERIDAN

BESSIE SHERIDAN OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN MAY 10, 1910, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JESS AND MARTHA GALBRAITH. BESSIE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT GEORGIAN GARDENS NURSING HOME ON FEBRUARY 5, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-NINE YEARS, EIGHT MONTHS AND TWENTY-SIX DAYS.

BESSIE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THE LATE JOHN D. SHERIDAN ON OCTOBER 15, 1928, IN PINCKNEYVILLE, ILLINOIS, TO THIS UNION TWO DAUGHTERS WERE BORN.

BESSIE IS SURVIVED BY TWO DAUGHTERS, DELORES PULEO OF POTOSI, NORMA MORGAN OF ARNOLD, THREE GRANDCHILDREN, SANDRA HELLINGS, MICHAEL PULEO, MICHELE CHRISTOPHER, EIGHT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.

BESSIE ENJOYED SEWING, SWIMMING AND PLAYING CARDS. SHE WAS ALWAYS READY TO GET HER FISHING POLE OUT AND GO SIT BY THE STILL WATERS FOR A LUCKY CATCH. SHE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HER FAMILY EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HER HEART.

A KIND AND LOVING MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, GREAT GRANDMOTHER AND SPECIAL FRIEND, SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER.

VISITATION WAS HELD SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2000, FROM 4:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.

FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 200, AT 9:30 A.M. WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN GATEWAY GARDENS CEMETERY, ST. LOUIS, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI

SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, MIKE PULEO, PHIL CHRISTOPHER AND JESSE GALBRAITH.
