DONALD WAYNE HOWELL
DONNIE "LOUIE" HOWELL OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI, WAS BORN JULY 25, 1948, IN BONNE TERRE, MISSOURI, A SON OF BARBARA (BARNHOUSE) HOWELL AND THE LATE VERNON HOWELL. DONNIE DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT BARNES JEWISH HOSPITAL ON FEBRUARY 11, 2000, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FIFTY-ONE YEARS, SIX MONTHS AND SEVENTEEN DAYS.
DONNIE WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MARILYN BENSON ON MAY 5, 1976, IN SHIRLEY, MISSOURI, TO THIS UNION TWO DAUGHTERS WERE BORN.
DONNIE IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEVOTED WIFE, MARILYN HOWELL OF MINERAL POINT, TWO DAUGHTERS, MICAH TOOMBS AND HUSBAND RODNEY OF POTOSI, AMANDA HEDGECORTH AND HUSBAND JOSH OF DESOTO, HIS MOTHER, BARBARA HOWELL OF FARMINGTON, FOUR GRANDCHILDREN, MICHAEL TOOMBS, JACK TOOMBS, JENNIFER TOOMBS AND CAMERON HEDGECORTH, ONE SISTER, CINDY HOWELL OF FARMINGTON AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
VISITATION WAS HELD SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2000, FROM 5:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2000, AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND GENE HOWELL OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN HOPEWELL CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, RODNEY TOOMBS, JOSH HEDGECORTH, MICHAEL ESSMYER, DOUG HOWELL, STEVE THURMOND AND BILL AKERS
