Bessie McGillivray
Bessie McGarr McGillivray, 87, died Saturday, Aug. 14, in Prescott.
She was born July 31, 1912, in Oil City, Pa., and lived in the same residence until June 1954, when she moved to Tucson.
She married John Edward McGillivray on July 13, 1955, and lived in Tucson until they moved to Prescott in 1971.
In April of 1995 they became residents of the Arizona Pioneers' Home. They celebrated their 44th anniversary on July 13 this year.
Mrs. McGillivray is survived by her husband, John, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the lobby of the Arizona Pioneers' Home. The Rev. Richard Anderson will officiate, with the Rev. Jennifer Wilcox of Trinity Presbyterian Church assisting.
Memory Chapel Mortuary helped the family with arrangements.

Lyndle Hoover
Lyndle C. Hoover, 88, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, in Prescott.
He was born April 13, 1911, in Benville, Ill., to Guy and Vada (Griwe) Hoover.
Mr. Hoover married Clara Garner Dec. 29, 1937, in Illinois.
He was a farmer and business proprietor for 34 years before retiring and moving to Prescott Valley from Illinois in 1974.
Mr. Hoover is survived by his wife, Clara of Prescott Valley; daughter, Vera Crawford of Aurora, Ill.; son, Larry of Prescott Valley; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Redwood Memorial Gardens in Dewey.

DeChantal Leckliter-Molina
DeChantal Marie Leckliter-Molina, 41, a former Prescott resident, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix.
She was born July 30, 1958, in Prescott, to Robert Leland and Margie (Oriet) Leckliter.
She moved to Wickenburg from Prescott one-and-a-half years ago.
She is survived by her sons, Robert and Charles Miller of Colorado; mother, Margie Leckliter of Prescott; brothers, Robert Leckliter of Chino Valley and Michael Leckliter of Prescott; and sisters, Cheryl Jordan of Las Vegas, Nev., Linda Brannock of Cottonwood, and Ruth Mueller of Prescott.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Leckliter.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be at 11 a.m. Friday at #8 Meadow Lane, in Prescott.

Charles Wallace
Charles William Wallace, 61, of Prescott, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson.
He was born Nov. 5, 1937, in Hugo, Okla., to James E. and Jo Frances (Faust) Wallace.
Mr. Wallace served in the U.S. Army. He moved to Chandler with his mother in 1945 and graduated from Chandler High School.
While in high school, he won the March of Dimes talent contest for four consecutive years. He performed at many civic clubs and was a performing clown in parades.
Mr. Wallace was a member of the Prescott Historical Society and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He enjoyed reading about the early history of Prescott and also enjoyed photography.
He moved to Prescott in 1970. He worked as a custodian for the city of Prescott for five years before becoming ill.
Mr. Wallace is survived by his son, Charles, Jr., of Prescott Valley; his mother, Jo Frances Sanders of Prescott; and brother, James of Hugo, Okla.
A service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Mount Vernon Church of Christ, 120 N. Mount Vernon Ave., Prescott. Private cremation was at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

Marjorie McLane
Marjorie Elizabeth Lewallen DeHart Benson McLane, 80, of Chino Valley, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, at Las Fuentes Care Center in Prescott.
She was born Feb. 20, 1919, in Hillsboro, Texas, to David and Beulah (Graves) Lewallen.
Mrs. McLane moved to Arizona in 1944 from Oakland, Calif., and to Chino Valley in 1977. She was a self-employed beautician for 15 years, retiring in 1963.
She was a member of the Chino Valley Tops, and was named Tops Kop Queen in that chapter, and "mother-in-law of the year" in 1978.
Mrs. McLane enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, bowling, family card games, and cooking.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald Benson of Chino Valley and Douglas DeHart of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Family Care, 100 E. Sheldon St., Prescott, AZ 86301.

Arthur Clark
Arthur Henley Clark, 91, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, in Prescott.
He was born Sept. 6, 1907, in Goldfield, Colo., to Oscar M. and Josie (Henley) Clark.
His family came to the Yuma area to homestead when he was 3 months old. After high school, he farmed in the Yuma Valley.
During WWII, he served in the military, mostly in a medical unit in England.
Mr. Clark retired from farming in 1962 and moved with his family to Prescott.
He was a member of the First Congregational Church. He en-joyed outdoor activities, such as fishing, hunting, camping, and baseball.
Mr. Clark's survivors include his wife, Juanita of Prescott; sons, Dale of Tempe and David of Flagstaff; and three grandchildren.
Private family services will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
Hampton Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Walter Fontana
Walter Christopher Fontana, 78, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, in Prescott Valley.
He was born Dec. 27, 1920, in Webster City, Iowa, to Sylvester and Nora Fontana.
Mr. Fontana married Margaret Kucera on Feb. 14, 1960, in San Diego, Calif.
He worked as an engineer at the University of California in San Diego, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 330 and the VFW, both of Prescott Valley.
Mr. Fontana is survived by his wife, Margaret of Prescott Valley; son, Daniel of Phoenix; daughters, Janice Fontana and Sharon Wilkinson, both of Phoenix, and Peggy Detweiler of Concho; brother, Dean of Scottsdale; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunrise Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Cun-ningham officiating.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.
