From Yavapai County, Arizona:

Ronald Gholson
Ronald Lee Gholson, 44, of Dewey, died Friday, July 9, 1999, at the Prescott Valley Samaritan Center.
He was born May 19, 1955, in Phoenix, to Lee and Bonnie (Warner) Gholson.
Mr. Gholson loved computers and computer games, and enjoyed hunting and fishing with members of his family.
Survivors include his parents, Lee and Bonnie of Dewey, and brother, James of Avondale.
Private services will be held at a later date. Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory.
The Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.

Robert Ridgley
Robert Joseph Ridgley, 64, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, in Prescott Valley.
He was born Dec. 4, 1934, in Terre Haute, Ind., to Henry and Marie Schott.
Mr. Ridgley was a career military man, serving from 1954 to 1976 in the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a mechanic.
He married Joyce Crognale in Camp Verde on Dec. 24, 1998. He was a member of the Prescott Valley Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Prescott Valley; sons, Robert Brian and Chris of California, Scott of Wickenburg, and Robert of Prescott Valley; daughters, Theresa of California, Carol of Delavan, Wis., and Angela Cooper of Camp Verde; sisters, Eloise Dunn of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Donna Cruzen of Prescott Valley; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be at 1 p.m. today at the Assembly of God Church, 3160 Lynx Lake Drive in Prescott Valley. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the church, with Pastor Del Butcher officiating.

Kenneth Holland
Kenneth C. Holland, 70, of Dewey, died Monday, July 5, 1999, in Prescott.
He was born April 22, 1929, in Quincy, Minn., to Edward Thomas and Lillian (Ganey) Holland.
Mr. Holland was a member of St. Germaine's Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and the Air Force, retiring from the service in 1976, and subsequently retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Phoenix.
Survivors include his brothers, James of Rockledge, Fla., and John of Rollingstone, Minn.; and sister, Rose of Reno, Nev.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69 in Prescott Valley, with Father Gerald J. Caffrey officiating. Inurnment will be at the National Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Germaine Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.

CORRECTION
Kenneth Holland
Kenneth C. Holland, 70, died Monday, July 5, 1999, in Prescott.
The family failed to provide all survivors' names.
He is also survived by sisters, Eileen Stein, Agnes Fenton, and Patricia Kieffer, all of San Jose, Calif. A brother, John, preceded him in death.
Services were held at 10 a.m. today at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Chapel.
Sunrise Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Charles Marsh
Charles Edward Marsh, 71, died Thursday, July 8, 1999, at his home in Chino Valley.
He was born July 26, 1927, in Delta, Colo., to T.E. and Ora Mae (Sheats) Marsh.
Mr. Marsh graduated from Grants Pass (Ore.) High School in 1945, and served a year in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked as a heavy equipment operator, retiring from Operating Engineers Union Local No. 12 in 1989.
He lived in many places in the West, including Vista, Calif., from 1958 to 1963; Escondido, Calif., from 1963 to 1991; Pleasant Hill, Ore., from 1991 to 1998, then to Chino Valley until the time of his death.
Mr. Marsh loved his family, and they spent many happy hours together, in many activities.
Survivors include his wife, Almetta of Chino Valley; son, Allen, also of Chino Valley; daughters, Dana of Oceanside, Calif., Amy Goodhart of Rowlette, Texas, and Shelly Novcaski of Okinawa, Japan; sister, Johnnie Hall of Ridgeland, Miss.; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley, with a memorial service to be held at a later date in Vista, Calif.

John McMullin Jr.
John H. "Jean" McMullin Jr., 65, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 26, 1934, in Nashville, Tenn., to John H. and Loretto (Watson) McMullin.
Mr. McMullin worked 25 years at Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester, N.Y., as a supervisor in the copy products division. He and his wife moved to Prescott in 1998.
He was an ardent Green Bay Packers fan, and was a member of the Yavapai Amateur Radio Club, the Casa de Aero RC Plane Club, and vice-president of the Yavapai Roadrunners Coach and Caravan Club. He loved all kinds of music.
Survivors include his wife, Karen of Prescott; son, David of Palmyra, N.Y.; daughters, Pamela McMullin of Barrington, Ill., Kelly Limbeck of Victor, N.Y., and Leslie Werhane of Minneapolis, Minn.; and six grandchildren.
The family will greet friends at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Odd Fellows Lodge, on the corner of Sunset and Whipple streets.
Private family services and cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

Paul 'Mike' Murray
Paul Michael "Mike" Murray, 53, of Prescott, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, Calif.
He was born Sept. 1, 1945, in San Diego, Calif., to John Paul and Patsy Ruth Murray.
Survivors include his wife, Michele of Prescott; his father, John of Chino Valley; brother, Steve, also of Chino Valley; sister, Karen Hogan of Edgewater, Md.; son, Paul of Euless, Texas; and daughters, Debbie of San Diego, Calif., and Michael Ann of Phoenix.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), P.O. Box 13770, Richmond, VA 23225-8770.
No services are planned.
Hollywood Funeral Home in Hollywood, Calif., helped the family with arrangements.

Hiram Davis
Hiram Simmons Davis, 95, died Friday, July 2, 1999, in Prescott.
He was born Oct. 8, 1903, in Butler, Mo., to Warren Lee and Druzilla (Owen) Davis.
Mr. Davis married Irene Morrison on Aug. 24, 1924. He was a scholar, earning his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Finance.
He worked as an executive vice-president for Management Research, Inc., an economic consulting firm. He and his wife moved from Philadelphia, Pa., to Phoenix in 1959, and to Prescott in 1978.
He was a member of the Prescott Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the Nature Conser-vancy, the Audubon Society and the American Association of Econ-omists, and served on the Prescott Planning and Zoning Committee. He enjoyed music and travel, and was proud of the accomplishments of his family, especially those of his grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Irene of Prescott; son, Warren of Wilmington, Del.; and one grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at the Prescott Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 945 Rancho Vista Drive. A second service will be held at Prescott Samaritan Village Chapel at a later date.
Private cremation is at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

Thomas Barker
Thomas Wiley Barker, 74, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Eufaula, Okla., to James R. and Zula (Sevell) Barker.
Mr. Barker was a member and volunteer with the Salvation Army for the past three years. For many years he was a regular customer at the Water Wheel store, where he sat outside and had coffee.
He was also well-known for his bell ringing at the Salvation Army kettles at Christmas-time. He was a member of the Salvation Army Corps Council, the Visioning Committee, and the League of Mercy.
Mr. Barker was known for his personal food ministry from his apartment. He had been involved with other food hand-out programs in Prescott Valley. He was also known for his generosity to support missions, the needy, and youth activities.
He served a tour of duty with the U.S. Navy during World War II, then served in the Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. His career was that of a contract engineer for the military. He received a peer doctorate through NASA.
There are no survivors, but he will be missed by his many friends and those he served.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army Corps, 8221 Jacque Drive, in Prescott Valley. Private interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Salvation Army Corps, 8221 Jacque Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.
