Arthur Lewis
Arthur Thomas Lewis, 81, of Prescott, died Friday, June 25, 1999, in Phoenix.
He was born June 20, 1918, in Boston, Mass., to Arthur and Anna Josephine (Daugherty) Lewis.
Mr. Lewis served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, from 1941 to 1945. He was a building manager, and worked for the Atlantic Richfield Oil Co. in Los Angeles, Calif.
Survivors include his wife, Ann of Prescott; daughter, Cheryl of Huntington Beach, Calif.; son, Thomas of Midway City, Calif.; sisters, Josephine Melito and Alice Colleta; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Arizona Kidney Foundation, 4203 E. Indian School Road, Suite 140, Phoenix, AZ 85018.
A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, Bethany Chapel, in Phoenix, helped the family with arrangements.

Virginia Supinski
Virginia Supinski, 90, died Saturday, June 26, 1999, at Las Fuentes Care Center.
She was born April 30, 1909, in Poland, to Walter and Julia (Milewski) Ignaszwski.
Mrs. Supinski moved to Prescott from Eldorado, Ark., in March, in order to be closer to her son.
She and her husband, Charles, were married on Aug. 25, 1927. He preceded her in death, in May 1976.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas of Prescott and Don of St. Augustine, Fla.; sister, Helen Benda of Punta Gorda, Fla.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A private cremation was held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.
The Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Lillian Henry
Lillian Theresa Henry, 81, of Chino Valley, died Friday, June 25, 1999, in Prescott Valley.
She was born May 15, 1918, in Stickney, Ill., to Emanual and Marie (Peck) Pushman.
Survivors include her son, Ray of Sandwich, Ill.; sister, Julie of Stickney, Ill.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69, in Prescott Valley, with Pastor Jim Cunningham officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5377, Phoenix, AZ 85010.

Judy Lape
Judy Davis Lape, 54, of Bagdad, died Saturday, June 26, 1999, in Phoenix.
She was born July 31, 1944, in Calhoun, Ga., to Jud Luke Davis and Dorothy Irene West.
Mrs. Lape moved to Arizona from Las Vegas, Nev., 17 years ago. She married James Lape on Oct. 31, 1982, in Hillside.
She worked for the Cypress Bagdad Copper Mine as a control room operator. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bagdad. She enjoyed bird-watching.
Survivors include her husband, James of Bagdad; son, Aaron Wilkerson of Tucson; brother, Jud Davis Jr. of Phoenix; and sister, Ondi Tateoka of Littleton, Colo.
A visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bagdad. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. at the church, with Bishop Will Strang officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
Sunrise Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Glencora Sanders
Glencora A. Sanders, 90, died Sunday, June 27, 1999, in Prescott.
She was born Feb. 1, 1909, in Victor, Colo., to Don and Jenny Swett.
Mrs. Sanders and her husband owned Brown's Credit Jewelers for 23 years. She enjoyed working in her yard, reading, writing short stories, and caring for her many pets.
Survivors include her daughter, April Vedvik of Prescott; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in 1965; son, Howard Jr., in 1969; and brother, Harry Swett.
Private services will be held.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Yavapai Humane Society, P.O. Box 12, Prescott, AZ 86302.

Dorothy Coomer
Dorothy "Sally" Coomer, 84, died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at her home in Prescott.
She was born Oct. 24, 1914, in Chicago, Ill., to William Charles and Josephine Mary (Fassel) Schult.
Mrs. Coomer had lived in Arizona 43 years. She was a homemaker. She was the backbone and support of her husband, artist Mark Coomer. She was a gracious and elegant woman who was a joy to those who knew her. She and her husband enjoyed dining out.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Mark of Prescott; daughter, Star D'Apuzzo of Scottsdale; son, Allen of Tempe; brother, Roy Schult of Mesa; sister, Elanor Standfield of Phoenix; and two grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 915 E. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ 86301.

Philomena Santomauro
Philomena "Faye" Santomauro, 83, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 9, 1916, in Gallup, N.M., to Vincent and Vincents (Versace) Priolo.
Mrs. Santomauro had been a supervisor in the health department of GHI, retiring in 1971. She moved to Prescott from New York, N.Y., in 1977.
She was a devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and being with her friends, and was an outstanding cook. She was proud of her family, and very proud of her husband. She looked forward to their special lunches and dinners out.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony "Sandy" of Prescott, whom she married May 20, 1957; sisters, Virginia Priola and Nina Smeraglia, both of Birmingham, Ala., Yolando Catherinichia of Talladega, Ala., and Luise Eckroth of Huntington Beach, Calif.
A celebration of Mrs. Santomauro's life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave.
Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave., Prescott, AZ 86301.

Edith Butler
Edith "Libby" Butler, 79, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 10, 1919, in South Burlington, Vt.
Mrs. Butler attended the University of Vermont and Juliette School of the Arts for three years. Although she worked during the war years, she considered herself a homemaker.
She married Arthur Butler on April 25, 1947. They were married 52 years. The couple moved to Prescott from Huntington Beach, Calif., in 1990.
Mrs. Butler enjoyed traveling, visiting new places and meeting new people. She also enjoyed quiet evenings sitting in her favorite chair and reading. She was proud of her husband, her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur of Prescott; daughter, Joan Butler of North Highlands, Calif.; son, Craig of Canada; and five grandchildren.
A private cremation was held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.
The Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.
