Derrhald McCombs

From an undated and unnamed newspaper clipping: May 1968

Preston--Derrhold McCoombs (sic) 70, died Thursday of a heart atack (sic) at the home of a sister in Preston

He was born Oct. 16, 1897, in Clarkston, Utah, a son of Peter E. and Mary Goodey McCoombs(sic).

Mr. McCoombs never married. He had been a maintenance engineeer in Locke, Calif. most of his life. This last year was spent in Preston with his sister. He was a member of the LDS Church

He is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Alma McCoombs, Beaverton, Wash.; (sic) Pete McCoombs, Pocatello; Mary Neeley, Preston, and Phoebe Mechan, Brigham City, Utah.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p. m. in Webb Mortuary.

Friends may call at the mortuary Friday evening and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery. (IDAHO)
