Bill, Sibyl and their three children headed for Huntington Beach, Calif., in 1968 in a Volkswagen bug with all they owned in search of a new life together. In his new beginning he worked his way up the ladder at Northrop Aircraft from mechanic to design engineer. He had accomplished one of his many dreams in this lifetime.
