I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other that we’ll always remain.
Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always have.
Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at all the jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, Pray for my family and friends. Let my name be ever spoken without effort, without the trace of a
shadow on it.
Let life continue to mean all that it ever has.
It is the same as it ever was. Never release me from your heart and mind because I am out of your sight. I am waiting for you,
somewhere very near, just around the corner.
Rest in peace.
ALL IS WELL.”
