FISHERS -- Madonna G. (Bodenheimer) Feulner, 84, of Fishers, died Sunday, July 28, 2002, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville.
Mrs. Feulner was employed by various department stores in Schenectady, N.Y., for 25 years.
She was born April 10, 1918, in Pikeville, Ky.
She was married to Robert Feulner. He died in 1984.
Mrs. Feulner was a member of Bellevue Reformed Church in Scotia, N.Y., and Christ Community Church in Fishers. She was also a member of the Humane Society for Hamilton County.
She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bud Fulton of Fishers; a nephew and his wife, Brent and Karen Fulton of Mason, Ohio; a niece and her husband, Brenda and Tom Gonzales of Noblesville; and three great-nieces, Emily and Katie Fulton and Lauren Gonzales.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Christ Community Church. The Rev. Scott Rees will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in New York. Randall and Roberts Funeral Home of Noblesville is handling the arrangements.

Donald Marion Absher, 62, Alvord, Texas
Aug. 5, 2002
ALVORD, Texas -- Donald Marion Absher, 62, of Alvord, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, in Decatur, Texas.
Mr. Absher was a telephone communications engineer. He was retired.
He was born Nov. 16, 1939, in Metropolis, Ill.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He married Willie G. Watson May 27, 1994, in Greenwood, La. She survives.
Mr. Absher was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alvord.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Susie Absher of Noblesville; three sons, Craig Absher of Oklahoma City, Okla., Bobby Caso of Sunset, Texas, and Raymond Caso of Alvord; four daughters, Debra Undhjem of Litchfield, Ariz., Cheryol Absher of Alvord, Gaylene Caso of Ponder, Texas, and Marissa Absher of Porter, Texas; three brothers, Dennis Absher of California, Rodney Absher and Curtis Absher, both of Indianapolis; two sisters, Darlene Roberts of Noblesville, and Kim Absher of Indianapolis; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Alvord. The Rev. Bill Cleveland officiated. Burial was in Alvord Cemetery. Coker Funeral Home of Decatur, Texas, handled arrangements.

Mary Lee Ball, 86, Noblesville
Aug. 8, 2002
NOBLESVILLE -- Mary Lee (Marcum) Ball, 86, of Noblesville, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Ball was a homemaker.
She was born April 25, 1916, in Rose Hill, Va., the daughter of Wiley and Connie (Snodgrass) Marcum.
She was married to Buster Ball. He died in 1971.
Mrs. Ball was a member of New Light Christian Center.
She is survived by four sons, Bennie Ray Ball of Russell Springs, Ky., David Ray Ball of Westfield, Orville Ball Sr. and Buster Ball Jr., both of Noblesville; seven daughters, Sandra Ball, Rose Lee Caudill, Brenda Owens, Patricia Alley and Sharon Toomey, all of Noblesville, Tammy Harman of Indianapolis, and Carlos Nix of Williamsburg, Ky., two sisters, Janee Caudill of Newfield, N.J., and Marie Rutheford of Fairfax, Va.; and 26 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ilo Poindexter; two sisters, Pauline Caudill and May Catron; and three brothers, Albert Marcum, Miller Marcum and Walter Marcum.
Calling will be 4-8 p.m. today at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, and 11 a.m.-noon Friday at New Light Christian Center. Services will be noon Friday at the New Light Christian Center. The Revs. Charles R. Ely and Chris Welch will officiate. Burial will be in Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.

Joan Vivian Bandy, 85, Noblesville
July 30, 2002
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Joan Vivian (Rich) Bandy, 85, of Noblesville and Columbus, Ohio, died Saturday, July 27, 2002, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
Mrs. Bandy was a homemaker.
She was born April 9, 1917, in Columbus, the daughter of Virgil and Roma (Jaynes) Rich.
She was married to Daniel G. Bandy. He survives in New Palestine, Ohio.
She served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II from 1943-44.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Daniel L. Bandy and Michael W. Bandy, both of Columbus; a daughter, Patricia Bandy Haddad of Carmel; a sister, Evelyn Rigby of Columbus; three brothers, Vernon Rich, Glen Rich and David Rich, all of Columbus; and six grandchildren.
Calling will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today at Jerry Spears Funeral Home in Columbus. Services will follow at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home. The Rev. Tim Kenoyer will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio. Wagner and Hughes Family Mortuary of Noblesville is handling the local arrangements.

Virginia Lee Burris, 87, Noblesville
April 30, 2002
NOBLESVILLE -- Virginia Lee (McCann) Burris, 87, of Noblesville and formerly of Cicero died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
Mrs. Burris was a nurse who began her career at Methodist and St. Vincent hospitals. She also worked as a private-duty nurse and later at Lakeview Nursing Home in Carmel for 20 years. After that, she was an office nurse for Dr. Day in Carmel. She retired in 1978 after four years at the Arcadia nursing home, where she was night supervisor.
She was born Sept. 21, 1914, in Bainbridge, Ind. She was the daughter of Alonzo and Mary (Shea) McCann.
She was a 1927 graduate of Lebanon (Ind.) High School.
She was first married to Tracey Wiars. Her second marriage was to Hobert T. Colglazier. Her third marriage was to Estle Altic Burris May 4, 1943. He died June 9, 1990.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon, Ind., American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 45 in Noblesville, and was formerly a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Lebanon.
She is survived by four children. Ricky D. Leath of Arcadia, Hobert R. Colglazier, Margaret A. Colglazier and Billie Colglazier; a sister, Ruth M. Hysong of Lebanon, a granddaughter, Amanda Gaines of Indianapolis; three step-grandchildren, Angel Franklin, Jacob Blackford and Amy Vandy, all of Lebanon; and a great-grandson, Brandon Gaines of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James R. Wiars and John Richard Wiars.
Calling will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas Metzger will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Clifford Eugene Carey, 78, Arcadia
May 30, 2002
ARCADIA -- Clifford Eugene Carey, 78, of Arcadia died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Northwoods Village Nursing Home in Kokomo, Ind.
Mr. Carey was a tool and die maker at Delco Remy at Anderson for 43 years. He was also a farmer.
He was born Nov. 7, 1923, in Noblesville, the son of Melvin and Anna (Spannuth) Carey.
He was a 1942 graduate of Walnut Grove High School.
Mr. Carey was an airplane engine mechanic in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by a son, Joseph Dean Carey of Frankfort, Ind.; a daughter, Brenda Lee Smith of Richmond, Ind.; a brother, Grant Carey of Anderson; three sisters, Catherine Myers of Portland, Ind., Virginia Blazier of Noblesville and Mrs. Larry (Edna) Eshelman of Pendleton; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, David Neal Carey and Thomas Arthur Carey; a brother, Richard Carey; and two sisters, Martha Kelly and Margaret Ann Carey.
Calling will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Hartley Funeral Homes Arcadia Chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Mark Mowery will officiate. Burial will be in Carey Cemetery, north of Noblesville.

Ellen Pauline Casey, 87, Westfield,

WESTFIELD -- Ellen Pauline (Stanley) Casey, 87, of Westfield, died Monday, June 3, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Casey was a homemaker.
She was born Jan. 1, 1915, in Cicero, the daughter of William and Cora (Myers) Stanley.
She was a graduate of Cicero High School. She was a member of the Hortonville Friends Church in Westfield.
She married Cecil W. Casey. He died in 1987.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth W. and Betty Casey of Westfield, and Bill B. and Sheryl Casey of Westfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Lee Hunt of Westfield; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Services were this morning at McMullan Funeral Home in Westfield. The Rev. Doug Shoemaker officiated. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers.

Thomas W. Crouse, 67, Noblesville

NOBLESVILLE -- Thomas W. Crouse, 67, of Noblesville, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at Riverview Hospital.
He was born Jan. 24, 1935, in Muncie, Ind., the son of Paul and Olive (Whitaker) Crouse.
He was married to Laura Lee (Wood) Crouse. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Janet Crouse of Lapel, and three half-sisters and one half-brother.
Calling will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Steve Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.

Bonnie J. Davis, 70, Tipton

TIPTON -- Bonnie J. Davis, 70, of Tipton, died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at Autumnwood Extended Care.
Mrs. Davis was employed by Firestone Industrial Products of Noblesville for 30 years. She retired in 1982.
She was born Dec. 18, 1931, in Flippin, Ark., the daughter of Beech and Ollie (Miller) Tilley.
She married Glynn O. Davis Dec. 18, 1947. He died Feb. 7, 2000.
Mrs. Davis attended area churches.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Paula (Davis) and Kip Goar of Tipton; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Judy Davis of Tipton; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Calling will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Porter Funeral Home in Tipton. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Brother Logan Westrick will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

David L. Edwards III, 5, Coatesville, Ind.

COATESVILLE, Ind. -- David L. Edwards III, 5, of Coatesville died Monday, July 22, 2002, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
He was born March 15, 1997, in Indianapolis, the son of David Edwards Jr. of Greencastle, Ind., and Mary Hall of Coatesville. His parents survive.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Rita Edwards of Noblesville and Charli Edwards of Anderson, grandparents Vicki Denham of Anderson, David Edwards Sr. of Cicero and Bob and Betty Shirrell of Noblesville; and great-grandparents, Frances and Clarence Hall of Lapel and Augusta Edwards of Noblesville.
Calling will be noon-2 p.m. Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel. The Rev. Mark Helm will officiate.

Gene Richard Edwards, 76, Arcadia

ARCADIA -- Gene Richard Edwards, 76, of Arcadia, died Saturday, July 27, 2002, at Tipton County Memorial Hospital in Tipton.
Mr. Edwards was superintendent at Stony Creek Stone Co., for 27 years, retiring in 1985. He was also a farmer.
He was born July 29, 1925, in LaFontaine, Ind., the son of Roy U. and Mary Elizabeth (Davenport) Edwards.
He was a 1943 graduate of LaFontaine High School.
Mr. Edwards was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
He married Ruth Ellen (Waddell) Edwards Oct. 22, 1960. She survives.
He was a member of the Windfall United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the Belgian Draft Horse Corporation of America, and the International Union of Operating Engineers No. 103.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Roy J. Edwards of East Ridge, Tenn., Thomas Gene Edwards of Spencerville, Ind., and Glenn R. Edwards of Arcadia; two daughters, Dinah D. Thacker of Tippecanoe, Ind., and Karen Good Gordon of Argos, Ind.; a sister, Joan Caudell of Indianapolis; a sister-in-law, Reba Hale of Kokomo, Ind.; a brother-in-law, Jack Waddell of Windfall; 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Michel Houin, and Catherine Edwards.
Calling will be 4-8 p.m. today at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Chris Ellis will officiate. Burial will be in the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in LaFontaine.

Robert H. Ford, 90, Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS -- Robert H. Ford, 90, of Indianapolis died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Carmel Care Healthcare.
Mr. Ford was employed by Allison Division of General Motors for 35 years. He retired in 1974. He also worked at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 70 years. He retired from there in 1998 as the supervisor of the outside grandstand. He was the longest employed individual at the track in history.
He was the son of Scott and Adelaide Ford.
He was a graduate of Purdue University School of Engineering.
He was first married to Mary Beth (Shields) Ford. She preceded him in death. His second marriage was to Mary Margaret (McNew) Ford. She survives in Indianapolis.
He was a member of Calvin Prather Masonic Lodge, Murat Shrine and Meridian Street United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert S. Ford of Noblesville; two stepsons, Stephen H. McNew of Indianapolis, and James W. McNew of Greenfield, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Susan McNew Corts of Noblesville; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held. Leppert and Hensley Mortuary, Nora Chapel, in Indianapolis is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Meridian Street United Methodist Church.

O. Roland Fuller, 77, Alexandria
May 9, 2002
ALEXANDRIA -- O. Roland Fuller, 77, of Alexandria died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Fuller taught at Seventh-day Adventist Church schools in Alexandria for four years and in Anderson for five years. After that, he was employed by the Finance Center at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis as a computer programmer and specialist for 30 years. He retired in 1994.
He was born July 6, 1924, in Alexandria, the son of Orville and Winnie King Fuller.
He was a 1942 graduate of Indiana Academy in Cicero, and he received a bacheloršs degree in religion from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Mich., in 1952.
He was married to Juanita (DuBuque) Fuller May 8, 1948.
Mr. Fuller was a longtime member of the Alexandria Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he served as an elder for more than 50 years. He was an avid reader and talented in mechanical skills. He loved to work on cars and enjoyed automobile racing. He was a fan of Ford NASCAR racing and the Indianapolis 500.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Blue of Alexandria; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Cheryl Fuller of Malabar, Fla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and special friends Paul Johnson of Alexandria and Lyle Bailey of Stevensville, Mich.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Fuller.
Calling will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria, and 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Alexandria Seventh-day Adventist Church. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the church. The Revs. Dan Hall and Clinton Meharry will officiate. Burial will be in the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Alexandria.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alexandria Seventh-day Adventist Church or the hospice program at St. John's Medical Center through the funeral home.

Iva Georgia Karruth Greear

NOBLESVILLE -- Iva Georgia Karruth (Shoop) Greear, 90, of Noblesville died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville.
Mrs. Greear was employed by Blue Ribbon Dairy, the nursing home in Noblesville now called Riverwalk Village, and Bolden's Cleaners. She retired in 1970.
She was born March 25, 1912, in Big Stone Gap, Va. She was the daughter of James Nelson and Arvilla Victoria (Wheatley) Shoop.
She was a former member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Wise, Va.
She was married to Earl Greear. He died in 1960.
Mrs. Greear is survived by a daughter, Betty Dean of Noblesville; a son, Freddie Lee Greear of Fredericksburg, Va.; three brothers, Herman Shoop and Vadis Shupe, both of Wise, and Ross Shoop of Bristow, Va.; five grandchildren, Neal Dean, Dwight Greear, Patrick Greear, Denna Taylor and Vicki VanZandt; and two great-grandchildren, Julie Greear and Zachary Taylor.
Calling will be 4-8 p.m. today at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville and 4-7 p.m. Friday at Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise. Services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Sturgill Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Powell Valley Memorial Garden in Big Stone Gap.
