Mrs. Housand, a homemaker, was born Camano Island, Washington, and is survived by her daughter Betty Lee Anderson, sons Richard and John Housand, sister Leona Christie, brother Gordon Gookins, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Apache Junction Mortuary handled all arrangements.

Howard A. Bennett
Howard A. Bennett, 90, of Apache Junction, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2002. Mr. Bennett, a Navy Veteran and chemical company assembly worker, born in Brown County, Ohio, is survived by his wife Ila M. Bennett, sister Ruth Dickerson and many nieces and nephews. Apache Junction Mortuary handled all arrangements.

Gladys Willa Dethmers
Gladys Willa Dethmers, 83, of Apache Junction, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2002. Mrs. Dethmers, a beautician, born in Redbird, Nebraska, is survived by her daughter Marcia Jean Kruse, son Richard C. Mr. Walczak, a steel worker and Army Veteran of the Korean War, born in Pittsburgh, PA, is survived by his sons John Walczak, Jr. and Michael J. Dorothy (Dot) Terrell, of Apache Junction, formerly of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away June 26, 2002. Survivors include her husband, A.C. (Jack) Terrell, daughter Pat Gautier, 3 grandsons and 8 great-grandchildren. Apache Junction Mortuary and Roeder Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Edna Alberta Bochenek
Edna Alberta Bochenek passed away Sunday, June 23, 2002 after a short illness. Mrs. Bochenek was born in Nunica, MI in 1924 to George and Annabelle Jones. She married Ted F. Bochenek in 1941 and was married 47 years beofre his death in 1987. Mrs. Bochenek began traveling with her husband, Ted, right after they married. In 1947 the family headed to Alaska, where they settled in Spenard, now Anchorage. After retirement, Mr. & Mrs. Bochenek settled in Apache Junction where the family home was kept during the winter months. Edna Bochenek had a wonderful life and is not at peace. Survivors include daughters June (Fred) Grunow and Jean (Ray) Simmons, 3 grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons.

Mark J. Meadows
Mark J. Meadows, 44, of Apache Junction, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2002. Mr. Meadows, an Army Veteran, born in Anaheim, CA, is survived by his Fiancee Shirley Mongar, son Matthew Meadows, mother RoJean Meadows, Father Raymond Meadows, sisters Melanie Brown and Desiree Morphis, brothers Chet, Chad and Scott Meadows.
