Geraldine Howard Hennessy, 87, widow of John F. Hennessy, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, in Manassas. She was a graduate of Salem State Teachers College, Salem, Mass., in the 1930s and worked in public and private primary education throughout her life. She retired from Arlington County Public Schools in 1981. Survivors include four daughters; one son; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Services will be private. Jamie Lynn Fallon, 23, of Woodbridge died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, at the Pentagon. She attended Osbourn Park High School. She was a storekeeper 3rd class assigned to the Pentagon and served in the U.S. Navy for over six years. She was a life member of the VFW Post 1503 in Dale City and will be truly missed by her son, family, and friends. Evelyn T. Sistrunk, 75, of Louisiana, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001. She had lived in Baton Rouge, La., since 1965. She was valedictorian of Okaloosa High School and graduated at the top of her class from Louisiana State University in 1947. She began working for the Teachers Retirement System in 1968, where she was manager of the benefits department. She retired after 31 years of service to the system. She was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church, where she served on several boards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurice Sistrunk; her parents, Pat and Annie Tinsley; a brother, Dick Tinsley; and a sister, Gladys Russell. She is survived by her brother, Bobby Tinsley of West Monroe, La.; and two children, Larry Sistrunk of Manassas and Lynn Sistrunk of Baton Rouge, La. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas. The funeral liturgy will be offered at 1 p.m. Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, the Rev. Robert C. Cilinski officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Michael, Pa.
