Dorothy Flick
Dorothy M. Flick, 76, of Bremerton died of pneumonia Nov. 2, 2000, at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Denver to Robert R. and Elizabeth M. (Ellis) Schroder.
She married Robert H. Flick on Aug. 30, 1945, in Denver.
Mrs. Flick was a finance clerk with the federal government at Fort Lewis and Fort McArthur for 13 years.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Carol Ann Kurtz of Vallejo, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Interment will take place in Maentwrog, North Wales. Local arrangements are under the direction of Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.

Susan Grout
Susan Elizabeth Grout, 59, of Hansville died of breast cancer Nov. 7, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born April 12, 1941, in Seattle to Lester and Louise (Simon) Welle. She graduated from Queen Anne High School in Seattle, and from Edmonds Community College in Edmonds.
She married Larry Grout on Nov. 26, 1986, in Woodinville.
She was a paralegal with the King County Prosecuting Attorney for more than 20 years.
She enjoyed music and reading.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brian Southworth of Fall City and Kennan Southworth of Maple Valley; two daughters, Andrea Duffy of Fall City and Jennifer Southworth of Everett; a brother, Eric Duerst of Toledo, Wash.; a sister, Leslie Moog of Rochester, Wash.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Zieba.
A memorial service is planned for noon today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Issaquah. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hansville Community cemetery, followed by a memorial service at Hansville Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Bleitz Funeral Home in Seattle.
Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Nursing Education, c/o Harrison Hospital Foundation, 2520 Cherry Ave., Bremerton, WA 98310.

Robert Yarbrough
Robert M. Yarbrough, 55, of Bremerton died of pancreatic cancer Nov. 9, 2000, in Bremerton.
He was born Nov. 13, 1944, in Morlington, Ark., to Helen (Harmon) Yarbrough. He graduated in 1962 from Huntington Beach High School in Huntington Beach, Calif.
He married Patricia Mary Walsh on Nov. 12, 1977, in Bremerton.
Mr. Yarbrough served in the Navy from 1962 to 1996, achieving the rank of warrant officer 2nd class. He was a highly decorated Naval officer and had been a Navy diver for 28 years.
He enjoyed hunting and model planes. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; three sons, Louis Gardner of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., Clifford Gardner of Bremerton and Michael Sorbel of Missouri; a daughter, Michelle Sedlickas of San Diego; a sister, Jeri Chavis of Colorado; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Gardner.

Bud Mohr
Donald R. "Bud" Mohr, 71, of Retsil died of cancer
Oct. 31, 2000, at Washington Veterans Home.
He was born Dec. 23, 1928, in Kaukauna, Wis., to Rudolph Herman and Myrtle Marion (Besaw) Mohr.
He served in the Army from 1949 to 1952, achieving the rank of sergeant 1st class.
Mr. Mohr worked in construction and logging.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include a brother, Wilber of Ixonia, Wis.; and a sister, Sharon Jansen of Kaukauna. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rudolph, and a sister, June Webster.
An informal memorial service is planned for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Washington Veterans Home in building nine.
Memorial donations may be made to the Washington Veterans Home Benefit Fund for Buildings 9 and 10, P.O. Box 698, Retsil, WA 98378.

Lenore Sullivan
Lenore A. Sullivan, 54, of Gig Harbor died Nov. 6, 2000, at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma.
She was born Oct. 14, 1946, in Florence, Ariz., to Harold and Phyllis (Wolf) Pace. She graduated from St. Martin's College in Lacey and had recently completed a master's degree of psychology in marriage and family therapy from Chapman University in Orange, Calif.
She was a social worker at Madigan Army Medical Center.
She was a member of Gig Harbor Church of the Nazarene, where her husband, Dr. Wesley W. Sullivan, serves as pastor.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Michelle Bogart of Tumwater and Erin Sullivan of Nampa, Idaho; three sisters, Ladonna Doane of Long Beach, Calif., and LaVaughn Pfost and LaVerne Bufford, both of Nampa; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. today at Gig Harbor Church of the Nazarene, with inurnment at Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Haven of Rest Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to Gig Harbor Church of the Nazarene Summer Camp Program.

Marguerite Greening
Marguerite Julia Greening, 90, of Bainbridge Island died Nov. 6, 2000, at Messenger House.
She was born July 12, 1910, in Seattle to Arnold and Gertrude (Sandness) Raber. She attended high school on Bainbridge Island.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and flowers. She was a member of the Lutheran church.
Survivors include two sons, Larry of Mountlake Terrace and Tim of Chicago; a daughter, Georgianna White of Bainbridge Island; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 1981, and by a brother, Doug Raber, this year.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Lutheran Church on Bainbridge Island. Arrangements are under the direction of Kass Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1422 NW 85th, Seattle, WA 98117-4236.

Yoshiko Seibert
Yoshiko Seibert, 58, of Port Orchard died of pancreatic cancer Nov. 7, 2000, at her home.
She was born Feb. 7, 1942, in Sasebo, Japan, to Isao Katsuki and Sakae Hirano.
She married William C. Seibert on April 30, 1969, in Tokyo, Japan.
Mrs. Seibert was a cook and chef for more than 10 years, retiring in 1998. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Japanese Women's Club and enjoyed crafts.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Mike of Port Orchard; two daughters, Linda Huffman of Elk Grove, Calif., and Kathy Seibert of Puyallup; a brother, Tetsuya Hirano of Nagoya, Japan; a sister, Keiko Glenn of Little Switzerland, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday at her home, 407 Seattle Ave., in Port Orchard.

Doug Raber
A.D. "Doug" Raber, 81, of Bainbridge Island died Nov. 3, 2000, at Messenger House.
He was born May 21, 1919, in Seattle to Arnold and Gertrude (Sandness) Raber. He graduated in 1938 from Bainbridge High School.
Mr. Raber served in the Army from 1941 to 1945, achieving the rank of private 1st class.
He married Bernetta Engebretson on Oct. 25, 1947, on Bainbridge Island. She preceded him in death this year.
Mr. Raber was a postal carrier for 22 years, retiring in 1983. He also had been a self-employed carpenter.
He was a Mason and a member of the Sportsman's Club on Bainbridge Island.
Survivors include a son, Curt of Bainbridge Island; a daughter, Cheryl Bartholomew of Bainbridge Island; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Lutheran Church on Bainbridge Island. Arrangements are under the direction of Kass Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Helen Peterson
Helen June Peterson, 73, of Poulsbo died Nov. 4, 2000, at Martha & Mary Health Care Center.
She was born June 12, 1927, in Perly, Minn., to Peter and Borghild (Sorenson) Titterness. She attended school in Poulsbo.
She married Elwood Peterson on June 22, 1945, in Bremerton.
Mrs. Peterson was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling and Hardanger (embroidery).
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ken of Poulsbo; a daughter, Linda Neely of Oroville, Calif.; a brother, Duane Titterness of Poulsbo; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry; and by four brothers, Lilleburg, Otto, Peter and Arlo Titterness.
Visitation was held Thursday at Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, also at Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel, with interment at Cherry Grove Memorial Park.

Martha Bacus
Martha Louise Bacus, 82, of Silverdale died Nov. 7, 2000, at Northwoods Lodge.
She was born Feb. 26, 1918, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Charles and Emma (Fellmeth) Frey. She attended from Whetstone High School in Bucyrus and attended business college for two years.
She married Elvy Bacus on July 15, 1939, in Honolulu. He preceded her in death in 1998.
She was a bookkeeper for the Central Kitsap School District for more than 20 years.
She enjoyed shuffleboard and bowling. She was a member of Silverdale United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, William "Bill" of South Lake, Texas; a daughter, Linda Petersen of Sammamish; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by seven siblings.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at Crista Shores in Silverdale, with a private family graveside service at Forest Lawn cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Ralph Smith
Ralph Kyle Smith, 59, of Bremerton died of cancer Nov. 4, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Aug. 8, 1941, in Long Beach, Calif., to Melvin and Ruth (Kyle) Smith. He graduated in 1959 from West High School in Bremerton and attended Olympic College.
Mr. Smith served in the Army from 1965 to 1967, achieving the rank of specialist 4th class.
He was an equipment specialist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 39 years.
Mr. Smith was a member of Kitsap County Poggie Club and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by two nephews, Christopher Butler of Bonnie Lake, and Grant Butler of Belfair; two nieces, Cheri Henry of San Diego and Cari Abrams of Louisville, Ky.; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Smith of Belfair. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert, in 1999.
Inurnment will take place at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
