Tina (Jensen) Willis
Tina (Jensen) Willis, 40, of Port Orchard died of a heart attack July 4, 2001, at home.
She was born July 6, 1960, in Portsmouth, Va., to Larry and Darlene (Heath) Jensen. She attended North Mason schools and graduated in 1979 from South Kitsap High School.
She married Paul Willis on May 1, 1984, in Spring Valley, Calif.
She was the assistant manager for Cash and Dash in Gorst before joining the new Albertsons in Port Orchard.
She enjoyed animals and painting. She attended Family Worship Center.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Darlene McCay of Port Orchard; her father, Larry Jensen of Bremerton; two sons, Michael Smith and Martin Willis, both of Port Orchard; a daughter, Megan Willis of Port Orchard; a brother, Tracy Jensen, of Port Orchard; a sister, Theresa Herrington of Belfair; and her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Heath of Bremerton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Jensen Jr.
A memorial service will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at 13898 Creek View Drive SW, in Port Orchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.
Memorial donations may be made to Kitsap County Humane Society, 9167 Dickey Road NW, Silverdale,
WA 98383.

Arthur Epple
Arthur August Epple, 97, of Bremerton died of natural causes July 5, 2001, at Ashley Gardens in Bremerton.
He was born April 5, 1904, in Bloomington, Ill., to John and Clara (Ploense) Epple. He was educated in Bloomington and completed a blacksmith apprenticeship with the Chicago and Alton Railroad, also in Bloomington.
He married Evelyn Mary Mulcahy on June 15, 1927, in Bloomington.
Mr. Epple was a master welder at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard from 1941 until retiring in 1959. He later worked at Lockheed Shipbuilding in Seattle.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 117 in Bremerton. He enjoyed salmon fishing.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Dolores Schnuit of Seabeck; two grandsons; and three great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and George; and three sisters, Sophia Seeger, Louise Vogelsang and Clara Nowatski.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home with interment at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County, P.O. Box 3416, Silverdale, WA 98383-3416.

Gigi Kidder
Virginia L. "Gigi" Kidder, 73, of Bainbridge Island died of breast cancer, July 5, 2001, at her home.
She was born March 15, 1928, in Los Angeles to Richard and Virginia (Ostrom) Morgan. She graduated in 1946 from Grant High School in Portland, Ore. She attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore., and earned her registered nursing certification in 1975 from Olympic College.
She married Harry Kidder on July 8, 1949, in Portland.
A homemaker, Mrs. Kidder also was a registered nurse at Virginia Mason Medical Center. She enjoyed arts and crafts.
Survivors include her husband; her mother of Port Orchard; two sons, Richard of Vashon Island and Kenneth of Poulsbo; a daughter, Ruth Bookwalter of Kent; a sister, Bea Mansker of Snohomish; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Connors.
A gathering of family and friends will be held later.

Esther Monroe
Esther M. Monroe, 88, of Bremerton died July 2, 2001, in Bremerton.
She was born Oct. 29, 1912, in Whitefish, Mont., to Byron and Jesse VanSlyke. She graduated from high school in Whitefish.
She married Edmond Monroe in February 1933 in Seattle. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Mrs. Monroe was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, David of Poulsbo; four daughters, Sherril Huff-Menees of Bremerton, Joy McConnell of Los Angeles, Gayle Andre of Shelton and Elaine Peterson of Neah Bay; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by a son, Edmond.
A memorial service will be held later. Cremation is under the direction of Cherry Grove Crematory with arrangements by Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Coral Bilinski
Coral E. Bilinski, 89, of Bremerton died July 3, 2001, at Bremerton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Feb. 18, 1912, in Anacortes to C.R. and Deena (Pederson) Bliss. She graduated in 1930 from Anacortes High School.
She married Harry Bilinski in 1933 in Wenatchee. He preceded her in death in 1979.
Mrs. Bilinski was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano and spending time with her family.
She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Bremerton.
Her survivors include two sons, Joe of Bremerton and Timothy of Richmond, Va.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Reed.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
A rosary will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral Mass at the church and a graveside service at Forest Lawn cemetery.

Mary Morin
Mary Morin, 70, of Silverdale died July 5, 2001, in Silverdale.
She was born July 10, 1930, in Amsterdam, Holland, to Frank and Elisabeth (Roosingh) Ellis. She graduated from high school and secretarial school, both in Holland.
She married Andre Morin on Sept. 22, 1956, in Paris. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Mrs. Morin was a realtor.
She enjoyed stamp and coin collecting. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include a son, Edmond of Hollywood, Fla.; two daughters, Elisabeth Mastrorocco of Silverdale and Angela Wilkinson of Poulsbo; two brothers, Joseph and George Ellis, both of North Carolina; and one grandchild.
At the family's request, no service will be held. Cremation is under the direction of Cherry Grove Crematory with arrangements by Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 1551 Broadway, Suite 200, Tacoma, WA 98402-3332, or to Hospice of Kitsap County, P.O. Box 3416, Silverdale, WA 98383-3416.

Jesus Bollozos
Dr. Jesus A. Bollozos, 80, of Port Orchard died June 6, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Feb. 10, 1921, in Manbajo, Camiguin, Philippines, to Pio and Vincenta (Aranas) Bollozos.
Dr. Bollozos embarked on his medical career at the University of Santo Thomas School of Medicine in Manila, graduating in 1951.
He was a general surgeon in th Philippines, New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Kentucky for 50 years. He retired in 1984.
Dr. Bollozo was a member of Sierra Club International and the Knights of Columbus. He also was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and attended St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
He is survived by his brother, Leoncio of Port Orchard, and a sister, Rosario B. Baytion of the Philippines.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Luis, Domingo and Roberto.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Rill Chapel, 1151 Mitchell Ave., Port Orchard. Visitation will be followed by a Rosary service.
A Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
He will be interred at Divine Shepherd cemetery, Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendelton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.

Florence R. Dixon
Florence R. Dixon, 92, of Poulsbo died June 30, 2001, at Martha & Mary Health Care Center.
She was born July 24, 1908, in Rexford, Kansas.
Mrs. Dixon was raised and educated in Forest Grove, Ore.
She also was married in Forest Grove to Norman Dixon, who preceded her in death March 10, 1929.
Mrs. Dixon and her husband owned and operated Dixon Cleaners in Forest Grove for Several years.
She is survived by her son, Byron, of Poulsbo; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday at Forest Grove Memorial Chapel.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount View Memorial Gardens in Forest Grove. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Grove Memorial Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, Oregon Affiliate Inc., 1425 NE Irving St., Portland, OR 97232-4201.

Laurentine Wright
Laurentine B. Wright, 85, of Port Orchard died June 6, 2001, at Ridgemont Terrace.
She was born Dec. 12, 1915, in Santa Clara, Calif., to Sereano and Mary (Cunha) Fernando.
She attended Santa Clara High School and graduated in 1932.
In August 1945, she married Raymond William Wright in Carson City, Nev. He precede her in death in 1976.
Mrs. Wright was a bookkeeper for Firestone Tire in San Jose, Calif., during WWII, then became a homemaker.
Her priority in life was her family.
She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard and Holy Family in San Jose.
She is survived by three sons, Tommy Boskovich of Eatonville, Raymond Jr. of Pullman, J.W. "Buck" of Genesee, Idaho; three daughters, Tammy Barnett of San Jose, Mary of Port Orchard and Joan Mann of Camano Island; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher in 1975; a brother, Danabe Sereano; and a sister, Laura Cavelli in 2000.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary.
She will be interred at Santa Clara Mission cemetery in Santa Clara, Calif.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pendelton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.
Memorial Donations may be made to American Cancer Society Kitsap Unit, P.O. Box 2382, Bremerton, WA 98310.

Douglas Alcala
Douglas Drake Alcala, 37, of Poulsbo died July 1, 2001, in Poulsbo.
He was born March 26, 1964, in Chicago to Frank and Susan Alcala.
He was self-employed and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his parents of Chicago; his former wife, Sheila Brown-Alcala of Poulsbo; a son, Noah Alcala of Poulsbo; a daughter, Rachael Alcala of Poulsbo; and two brothers, Frank and Brian Alcala.
A private funeral was held in Chicago. A local memorial service will be held at a later date.
