Eleanor Kink, age 85, born March 9, 1920 in Spokane, WA
to Albert and Evalyn (Lindstrom)
Wolstenholme. She was a lifetime member
of the Elks Club, and a dedicated
member of the Catholic Daughters and
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She
enjoyed going on cruises. Eleanor was
gregarious and enjoyed the company of
others. death by her
husband, Pete Kink, Sr. in 1979 and her
son, Tom Kink in 1990. She is survived
by her daughter Eileen Allen of Spokane
Valley, WA; son Jim (wife Nancy) Kink
of Blaine and their children Ryan and
Paul; son Pete Kink (wife Nita) of
Lexington, NC and Pete’s children
Javonka and Christopher; and Tom’s five
step-children.
Memorials may be made Sacred Heart
Church or to the charity of your
choice. A Vigil Service will be held
at Westford Funeral Home on Tues., Jan.
3 at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial
will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church on Wed., Jan. 4 at 12:10 PM with
Fr. David Mulholland officiating. A
reception will follow at the Parish
Hall, with burial to follow at Bayview
City passed away
February 9, 2006 in Bellingham. She
was death by her
husband Charles McArthur. She is
survived by her daughter Wendy Weldon
of Bremerton; son Daniel Weldon of
Hawaii; sisters Arden Hebb of Issaquah
and Wendy Hebb of Maine; brothers Paul
of Mexico, Brian of Oregon, Michael of
Portland; grandchildren Jessica and
Sydney Taylor of CO and Trevor Enos of
CA; along with many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at the
Salvation Army on Saturday, February
18th at 1:00 PM.

Bernice I. Youngdyke
3/18/1910 - 6/9/2005

Bellingham resident Bernice Youngdyke
born March 18, 1910 in
Chippawa Falls, WI to William & Jennie
Thibedeau. Her family moved to
Saskatchewan where she spent most of
her school years. Bernice and her
family permanently moved to Bellingham
in the 1930's where she enjoyed
working for the telephone company as
an operator. She married Edward Youngdyke, with whom
she spent many enjoyable years
traveling, ballroom dancing and
visiting friends and family. She was a
devout Catholic, attending both
Assumption and Sacred Heart Parishes.
She is survived by daughter Myrna
Barton currently of Kodiak, AK, four
grandchildren; Brett, Zita, Sean and
Derek Frick; two great-grand-
daughters; Micaela and Kylie Frick.
Memorials may be made to the
Alzheimer's Foundation.
Funeral Services will be held at
Westford Funeral Home Wed. June 15 at
12 Noon with Fr. Frank Schuster
officiating. A Reception will follow
in the Chapel, followed by a committal
at Bayview passed away
Saturday, March 26, 2005 in
Bellingham. The oldest of 5 children,
Amanda was death by her
husband Wilbur Ziels in 1985; brothers
Kenneth and Dale; and sisters Lucille
and Letha.
Amanda is survived by her son Larry
Ziels and his wife Jan of Bellingham;
daughter Joanne Grape and husband
Wesley of Ramona, CA; 9 grandchildren
and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Assumption
Roman Catholic School. Visitation will
be held at Westford Funeral Home on
Thursday, March 31 from 12 – 5 pm. A
Rosary will be held at Assumption
Church on Friday, April 1 at 9:30 AM,
followed by a Mass of Christian
Burial. A reception will follow at
church in the gym. Cemetery.

Christopher Kries Wright
6/6/1974 - 3/10/2005

Chris Wright, age 30, born June 6, 1974 in Minneapolis, MN to
Michael and Nita (Raagas) Wright.
Chris enjoyed hockey, skateboarding,
wrestling, martial arts and especially
boxing. Chris enjoyed working out and
was voted “best physique” his senior
year at Lynden High. Chris was an
outgoing person who made friends
easily. Chris’ heart was always in the
right place and meant well towards
others.
He was preceded in death follows from the
fear of life. A man who lives fully is
