Dannikah Marie Granberg-Kiddle
was amazing!
She entered into this world April 1,
2003 at St. Joseph Hospital, the
daughter of Brendon Kiddle and Anne
Granberg, and she left this world July
18, 2006. Dannikah was a fearless
explorer, singer song-writer, an
amazing child full of energy,
excitement, spunk and character. She
loved all animals, especially
dinosaurs, tigers, whales, dogs, cats,
penguins and bugs. She also loved her
family pets Maui, Baxter, Ginger, Sam,
Tuesday and thousands of fish! Dannikah
was amazing at everything she did. She
was wonderful, spirited, full of life,
bright, passionate, active, feisty,
opinionated, sensitive, empathetic and
tenacious. She was so vibrant that she
impacted everyone in her life and our
little peanut will dance in our hearts
forever.
She was preceded in passed away on August 4, 2006 in her
garden, at her home, in Custer WA.

Clark and her husband Everett Watson.
Darlene is survived by her 5 children,
Marianne and Philip Reed of Custer WA,
Garry and Barb Benham of Racine WI, Bob
Benham and Karen Jennings of Marshfield
VT, Raymond and Kristi Benham of Custer
WA, and Joyce and Dean Washburn of
Birch Bay WA, 8 grandchildren, 8 great
grandchildren and scores of nieces and
nephews...and best friends Bob H. of
Ferndale WA, Hazel J. of Custer WA, and
Nora R. of Custer WA.
Gardening and collecting angels brought
Darlene great joy. She enjoyed
wellness committee and game night at
the Ferndale Senior Center as well as
her newest circle of friends at the
Haynie Grange.
Her sudden departure has greatly moved
our hearts, she will be greatly
missed.
Memorials may be made to the Ferndale
Senior Center and/or the Haynie
Grange.
Visitation with family present will be
held at Westford Funeral Home on
Wednesday, August 9 from 3-5 PM. A
Celebration of Darlene’s Life will be
held at Westford Funeral Home on
Thursday, August 10 at 1 PM followed by
a reception across the street at
Westford’s Broadway Hall, 1300
Broadway.
Alice Irene Welch
2/14/1928 - 8/17/2006
Alice Irene Welch, age 78 of
Bellingham, born February 14, 1928
in Macomb, IL to Thomas & Eithel
(Williams) Hughes. Alice was a manager
in the toy department at Yeager's for
over 40 years.
She is survived by her husband of 59
years, George Welch; sons Michael
(Martha) Welch of Bellingham and Kelly
Welch (companion Cyndi VanderYacht) of
Bellingham; daughter Trudy (Calvin)
Rutter of Las Vegas, NV; 11 grandkids;
7 great-grandkids; brothers William
(Bonnie) Hughes of IA and Robert
(Sandy) Hughes of MO; sisters Helen
(Charles) Coulter of OK, Wilma (Gene)
Lewis of Macomb, IL, Shirley Woolam of
Macomb, IL, and Sharon (Bob) Walters of
IL.
A Family Gathering will be held.

Robert Alvan Willingham
10/20/1931 - 9/24/2006
Robert Willingham, age 74 of Oak
Harbor, born Oct. 20, 1931
in Foresyth, GA to Alvan and Leone
Willingham. Robert served in the US
Navy for 30 years and an additional 19
years in Civil Service, retiring after
49 years of Federal service. During his
19 years of Civil Service he was
awarded the Navy Meritorious Civilian
Service Award. Robert served during
Korea, Vietnam and participated in the
recovery of the Apollo 11 astronauts
after the first moon landing in 1969.
Robert served in various stations
around the world and has lived with his
family in Oak Harbor since in 1969.
Robert enjoyed crossword puzzles,
watching Seattle sports teams and
spending time outdoors.
Robert was preceded in Cemetery in Kent, WA on
Wed. Sept. 27th at 10:45 AM.
