grandchildren, Susan and husband Rick,
Justin, Lynda Jay, Adam and Jonathan.
Services will be held in Seward,
Alaska at a later date. Memorials may
be made to Diabetes Association or
American Cancer Society.

and Maria (Daems) DeBoel. She went to
school in Einhout, Belgium. Maria
death by her parents Victor
and Maria DeBoel and a brother, Jan
DeBoel.
Visitation will be held Monday 9:00
a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by funeral
services at Westford Funeral Home
Chapel 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2002
with Fr. Frank Schuster officiating.

Evelyn Mary Neilan

Evelyn B. Neilan, age 90, of Bellingham
born June 27, 1911
in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada to
Edward and Josephine Brewster and moved
to Bellingham in 1917 at the age of 6.
On June 20, 1931 she death in 1982 after 50
years of marriage; brother,
Edward “Bud” in 1935; her mother,
Josephine in 1944; father, Edward in
1950; and sister Josephine Hilton in
1975. Evelyn is survived by her four
sons; Vernon and wife, Carol Neilan,
Ronald and wife Ardis Neilan, Edward
and wife Linda Neilan, and David and
wife Shari Neilan all of Bellingham;
two daughters Geraldine and husband
Linn Davis of Everett, and Mary and
husband Randy Grunhurd of Bellingham
and by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Westford
Funeral Home, Thursday 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm
Friday, March 22, 2002 at Bayview
died on April 11, 2002 in
Nome, Alaska. Born at Ellsworth AFB,
South Dakota in 1953, Michael moved
with his family to Bellingham in 1970.
He served with the U.S. Army from 1973
through 1975. He moved to Nome, Alaska
where he established a successful
practice in contractual ivory carving.
Survived by his father Edward
Griemsmann and stepmother Sharon of
Bellingham, WA, two brothers Douglas
Allen Griemsmann of Everson, WA, and
Kurt Elliot Griemsmann of Bellingham.
Memorial Services will be held at
Westford Funeral Home Chapel 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 17, 2002.
