Betty Jane Warren

Betty Jane Warren born on May 29, 1923 in
Seattle, to George and Marjorie
Nichols.
Betty was a resident of Whatcom County
for 35 years, with her husband, Tex
Warren. She worked for Western
Washington University as the department
executive secretary in the Speech Dept.
for 25 years, until her retirement. She
was a member of the Bellingham Golf and
Country Club, and was an avid golfer,
bowler, and loved playing cards with
friends.
She is survived by her husband, Tex, of
55 years, her children, Mark and
Christa Warren of Bellingham, and Janet
and John Crews of Ketchum, Idaho,
sister Marjorie Brown and her husband,
Bill, of Bellingham, three
grandchildren and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held on
Thursday, Nov. 14th, at 11:00am at
Christ the King Community Church, at
4173 Meridian St. in Bellingham.
Elva Marie Boynton
2/29/1920 - 11/4/2002
Elva Marie Boynton, age 82, of
Bellingham, cherished mother, wife and
friend was released to her beloved
savior, November 4, 2002 at Christian
Health Center, Lynden. Mrs. Boynton was
married Dr. Solon Richard Boynton, Jr.
who survives her along with five of the
couple's seven children.
She was a member of the First Advent
Christian Church, currently known as
The Fountain Community Church. She was
also a member of the D.A.R., a devoted
participant in The Firs Inspirational
activities and frequent attendee at the
Bellingham Senior Center events. A
loving homemaker, her faith in Jesus
Christ manifested in countless acts of
kindness. None were forgotten in her
prayerful vigils or untouched by her
selfless and gentle nature. All were
uplifted by her unfailing sense of
humor and radiant smile. She was
affectionately known by all who loved
and honored her as "gwamma", which
originated from her unconditional love
for humanity and animals.
Elva was a loving, faithful and devoted
wife of Solon for 61 years; a
passionately dedicated mother to Solon
and Sharon of Olympia, Clayton of
Bellingham, Marie and Lee Evans of New
York City, Catherine and fiance Roy
Perdue of Seattle, Joyce Elaine of
Bellingham; two wonderful
grandchildren, Joy of Seattle and Leigh
Clayton of Corvalis, OR and four great
grandchildren. She was preceded in
passed away November 1,
2002 at his home. He was married Iona Edith
Hinckley June 11, 1954. They were
death by his parents
and a sister, Dorothy Cory.
He is survived by his daughters,
Viktoria Adderley of Bellingham, WA,
Vera and husband Jim Kalkwarf of
Aberdeen, WA, Vanessa LaFreniere of
Montesano, WA, Vivian and husband Jim
Bleecker of Blaine, WA; sons, Vernon
Adderley and wife Edna of Aberdeen, WA,
Vincent Adderley and wife Traci of
Tumwater, WA, Virgil Adderley and wife
Amy of Portland OR, Vance Adderley and
wife Sarah of Olympia, WA; a brother
Ron Adderley of Bellingham, WA; 20
grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild;
nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
A rosary will be held at Westford
Funeral Home 7:00pm Thursday. A
funeral mass will be celebrated 12:00pm
Friday, Nov. 8, 2002 at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be made to Sacred Heart
Parish Youth Ministry or Youth
Activities, Assumption Parish and
School, Youth Ministry or Youth
Activities or to The Spokane Poor
Clares.
Robert Charles Bostrom
3/8/1925 - 1/14/2003
Robert C. Bostrom, age 77 of
Bellingham, WA, born March 8, 1925 in
Bellingham, WA to Albert and Lillian
(Pehrson) Bostrom. Robert graduated
from Mt. Baker High School and attended
WSU until WW II. He enlisted in the
Air Force and obtained his pilot
training in Arizona where he met his
soon-to-be wife, Martha Harrison. They
were death by his
parents, Albert and Lillian Bostrom,
and his brothers Albert Jr. and William
Bostrom.
He is survived by his wife, Martha
Bostrom of the family home; a son,
Robert Bostrom and wife Jeri of
Seattle; daughter, Leigh and husband
Dennis Thompson of Olympia; a brother-
in-law Col. Henry Harrison and wife
Joan of Fairfax, VA; sister-in-law, May
and husband Joe Bird of Killeen, TX;
aunt, Winnie Bostrom of Bellingham; 2
grandchildren, Nick and Morgan Thompson
both of Olympia; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 10:00am
Monday, January 20, 2002 at Westford
Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Christie
officiating. A reception will follow
at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Great
Hall. Memorials may be made to the
Bellingham Central Lions Club (Sight
Foundation) or the Education Dept. at
