Emma G. Himsel, 98, Medford, died Sunday, Dec. 25 at the Lighthouse Elder Care under Hope Hospice care. Funeral services are Saturday, Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Memorial Baptist Church in Verona, with Pastor Craig Jarvis officiating. Hemer Funeral Service of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.

JoAnn Premeau, 58, Lublin, died Friday, Dec. 23 at her daughter's home in Marshfield. Services will be held at a later date. Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Evelyn 'Evie' A. Schroeder, 79, Medford, died Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center in Medford. Funeral services are Friday, Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. John Melke officiating. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Pallbearers are Elmer Balko, Mert Vaughn, Ralph Neumueller, Ben Seidel, Lyman Bucki, and Melvin Brink. Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford and Friday at the church, beginning at 1 p.m.

Rose M. Olejniczak, 96, Gilman, died Thursday, Dec. 22 at the Zastrow Care Center in Gilman. A Christian burial mass was held Wednesday, Dec. 28 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, with Father John Long officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Gilman Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Former Dorchester resident Richard J. Seidel, 62, West Allis, died Friday, Dec. 23 at Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa. Private services in West Allis were planned for this week.

Joan C. Mohr, 78, Owen, died Wednesday, Dec. 21 at her home. Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 27 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee, with Rev. Tom Myhre officiating. Burial was in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in the Town of Greenwood, Taylor County. Pallbearers were Dean, Craig, James and Steven Henrickson, Paul and David Blazer. Louis James Sebold, 101, Dorchester, died Saturday, Dec. 24 at Continental Manor Nursing Home in Abbotsford. George 'Greg' E. Ackeret, 89, Medford, died Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford, where he had resided the past four years. Funeral services are Saturday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating. Unrau, 58, Medford, died Sunday, Dec. 25 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford, where he resided for the past eight months, most recently under the care of Hope Hospice. His cremains will be interned in Medford Evergreen Cemetery in the spring. Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with the arrangements.

Former Medford resident Dagmar Jeannette Ungrodt, 93, New Holstein, died Saturday, Dec. 17 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehab Center in New Holstein, where she had resided the past six years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. Paul Steinberg officiating. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery. Zoey A. Hernandez, 3, of Stetsonville died peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 12, 2005 under the care of St. Joseph's Hospital's Hospice program and her loving mother, April. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 15, 2005 at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, next to her great-grandfather Edwin Olson. Reverend Kenneth A. Dix officiated. Pallbearers were her Uncle Eric Loiselle and cousin Nicholas Meyer. Visitation was from 11:00 until time of services at the funeral home on Tuesday. Maurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Zoey, who was known by all as 'Princess' was born prematurely November 9, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield to April Zrutskie-Hernandez. Diagnosed with Cerebal Palsy, she spent one month in the Neonatal Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital. Zoey was put under the care of the hospice program on March 8, 2005. She was a little fighter who gave us seven more months than expected and in that time taught us how precious a gift of life is. Zoey's greatest love in her life was her mother, April, who was devoted to Zoey and taking care of all her special needs, no matter what the sacrifice. Zoey is survived by her mother April of Stetsonville, her loving grandparents, Sue and Ron Landwehr of Colby, and Dusty (Robin) Zrutskie of Medford, great-grandparents, Harry and Margaret Zrutskie of Unity, and aunt and uncle Erin and Juan Reyes, and uncle Eric Loiselle, cousins, Blake, Tegan, and Kiana of Colby, Great-aunt and uncle Nancy and Al Meyer of Colby and their children Nicholas Meyer of Stevens Point, Jessie (Brian) Polivka of Unity and their children, Jeret and Jaxon Polivka, great aunt and uncle Dawn and Terry Littleton of Unity, and their children Katie (Dave Telschow) Littleton and her son Cade, and Heidi (Neil) Rueden and their children Brandon and Kayla, her godmother Jenny Michlig, as well as her other great aunts and uncles Linda and Dennis Bruesewitz, Terry and Judy Zrutskie, and all of their children and grandchildren. Special friends who will always be like family, Niki Sebold, Chanhassen, MN, along with her parents and siblings, Tim and Cheryl Sebold, and Chad and Ryan Sebold. Nellie Tlusty, 88, Rib Lake, passed away Tuesday, September 6 [2005] at the Rib Lake Health Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Dennis Meulemans and Deacon Paul Ochodnicky officiating. Interment icon will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Westboro. Pallbearers are James L., Jerome, James P., Patrick, Peter and Adam Tlusty. Visitation is Thursday at the church from 4 to 7 p.m., and Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m. Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake are serving the family. The former Elsie Hanson was born March 10, 1909 Larry Gene "Tex" Adams, 52, Prentice, died Friday, Aug. 12 at Memorial Health Center in Medford. Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 16 at Prentice High School, with Pastor H. David Root of the Ogema Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Prentice Cemetery, with the Southern Price County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8491 conducting military honors.
