Burial will be in Stanchfield Baptist Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, beginning at 4 p.m. Hemer Funeral Service of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.

Frank Xavier Szomi Jr., 74, Medford, died Tuesday, July 29 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 2 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford with Rev. Dennis Meulemans officiating. Burial took place in Holy Rosary Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the Klossner-Dietzler VFW Post No. 5729. Serving as pallbearers were: Allen Hraby, Mike Hraby, Dennis Klemm, Alvin Klemm, Joey Klemm and Randy Tilch. Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements, where a Parish Prayer service was held.
