Maxine Rose Bee Kee
Maxine Rose Bee Kee, 86, of Spencer died March 31, 2004, at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
She was born Nov. 20, 1917, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late John Augustus and Eva Simmons Bee. She was retired as an occupational therapist from Spencer State Hospital, was a member of the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary and the Roane County Historical Society and attended the Spencer Church of Christ.

R. Bruce Sellers
R. Bruce Sellers, 86, of Harrisville, formerly of Pennsboro, departed this life Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Salem, W.Va.
Mr. Sellers was born Jan. 13, 1918, on Sugar Run near Pennsboro. Early in his working career, he had been employed by Weirton Steel. For several years, he was a truck driver, working for Michels Oil Co. of Pennsboro and was also employed by Lewis Rogers at the Rogers Funeral Home and Rogers Furniture. He operated auctions in Ritchie, Tyler and Doddridge counties and was a dealer in antiques.

Gary Simmons
Rollin Gary Simmons, 63, of Chapin, S.C., died March 20, 2004, following a brief illness.
Gary was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and West Virginia University. He had retired as an international account manager with Eastman Chemical Co.

Elnora Pearl Smith
Survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth Gorrell of Wick, W.Va., and Vernice L. Rinard of Marietta; nine nieces and nephews, Paula Renker and husband, Ken, Hazel Marteney and husband, Bill, Dianne Schlicher and husband, Bob, John Smith, Rebecca Gorrell, Richard Gorrell and wife, Vickie, Bruce Smith and wife, Cindy, Jack Smith and wife, Brenda, and Nina Jo McKnight and husband, Lynn; several great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece.

Betty J. Whited
Betty Jane Whited, 60, of Creston died March 30, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will be in Cooper Cemetery on Stutler Road, Annamoriah. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Grace Boise
Grace Boise, 82, of Parkersburg died March 30, 2004, at her residence.

Eric M. Britton
Eric M. Britton, 40, of Parkersburg passed away March 29, 2004, in Wood County.
He was born April 14, 1963, in Parkersburg, a son of Doris Barker Harris of Parkersburg and the late Benjamin Britton.

Robert W. Collins
Robert William Collins, 88, of Parkersburg died March 29, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital.

John H. Fankhauser
In the same gentle way he lived, John Howard Fankhauser, 88, of Parkersburg died March 26, 2004, at Ohio Valley Health Care.
He was born April 14, 1915, in Parkersburg, the only son of the late John L. and Anna Hofmann Fankhauser.

Donna Hardman
Donna Jean Yoak Hardman, 60, of Lanham, Md., formerly of Spencer, passed away March 29, 2004.
She was born July 3, 1943, in Calhoun County, a daughter of E. Don and Lucretia Smith Yoak of Spencer. Donna will be remembered for her deep love of music and her faithful service to the Mowatt Methodist Church, where she lightened the ears of all who had the pleasure of hearing her sing and play the organ.

Ora M. Kellar
Ora M. Kellar, 84, of Covert Street, Parkersburg died March 30, 2004, at Ohio Valley Health Care Center, following a brief illness.
She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Ralph Clark and Myrtle Knopp Huston.

Jennie C. Kiser
Jennie C. Kiser, 80, of St. Albans, W.Va., died March 29, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, following a long illness.
She was born Oct. 8, 1923, a daughter of the late Benjamin Coy and Orlie Taylor Cobb.

Henry D. Lemley
Henry "Hank" David Lemley, 64, of Racine, Ohio, died March 29, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Wilda; five children and spouses, Mary Ann and Teddy, Susie and Rodney, Rhonda and Chris, Betty and James, Tracy and Jeff and Connie and Tim; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers; a nephew; and church friend, Cody Tucker.

Jacob Mace
Jacob "Bill" Mace, 75, of Williamstown died Tuesday morning in Heartland of Marietta.
He is survived by two aunts, Marion Wolfe and Doskie Wolfe and several cousins, including Frances Osborne and Sara Stewart.

Daisy Randolph
Daisy Randolph, 80, of Mitchell's Lane, Marietta died March 30, 2004, in Mark Rest Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Josephine Petush-Moore.

Elnora Smith
Elnora Smith, 87, of Vienna died March 30, 2004, at The Willows Nursing Home.

Gertrude M. Wilkison
Gertrude M. Wilkison, 80, of Parkersburg and the Sunbridge Nursing Facility, went to be with her Lord on March 29, 2004.
She was born Sept. 20, 1923, in New Cumberland, W.Va., a daughter of the late Howard L. and Ida Carder Allen. Gertrude was a retired beautician having worked at the New Image Beauty Salon. She was a member of the South Parkersburg United Methodist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 14 of Parkersburg.

Gwandayla Bailes
Gwandayla "Peggy" Sexton Bailes, 69, of Crow died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Bailes was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Fayette County, W.Va., a daughter of Una Bennett Sexton of Mount Hope and the late Russell Sexton.

James R. Binegar
James "Jim" Russell Binegar, 61, of Newport, Ohio, died March 27, 2004, at the Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. Binegar was born March 16, 1943, in New Matamoras, Ohio, the son of late Kenneth Russell and Verna Mae McPeek Binegar. Mr. Binegar was a 1961 graduate of Lawrence High School. He moved to work at the Ford Plant in Lorain, Ohio. Mr. Binegar moved back to Newport in 1970. He owned and operated the Newport Quaker State Service Station. Mr. Binegar later owned and operated Jim's Used Cars in Newport. He was a member of the Faith Gospel Church, originally Dart Gospel Church, and was member of the Parkersburg Labor Union Local 1085.
