Eric M. Britton, 40, of Parkersburg died Monday, March 29, 2004.
Arrangements are pending at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street, south Parkersburg.

Beulah A. Martin
Beulah Ann Martin, 70, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, died March 28, 2004, at her residence.
Mrs. Martin was born Dec. 12, 1933, in Athens County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Myrle and Anna Byrd Griffin.

F. C. Renner Jr.
Frederick Christian Renner Jr., 90, of Parkersburg died March 28, 2004, at his home.
He was born Dec. 3, 1913, in Parkersburg, the son of the late Frederick C. Renner Sr. and Sophia Bargeloh Renner.

Virgil D. Rogers
Virgil D. Rogers, 68, of Lewisville, N.C., passed away March 27, 2004, at KBR Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Mr. Rogers was born at Shock, W.Va., a son of the late Claude and Clara Cottrell Rogers. He was a U. S. Army veteran.

Leatha Stukey
Leatha V. (Brand) Stukey, 98, of Parkersburg went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 28, 2004.
Mrs. Stukey has many years of service with the Wood County Board of Education, where she was a school cook. She was a lifelong dedicated member of the South Parkersburg United Methodist Church, where she was active in numerous ministries throughout her lifetime. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a beloved friend to many.

Arthur Trimble II
Arthur R. Trimble II, 64, of Utica, Ohio, died March 28, 2004, at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, Ohio.
Mr. Trimble was born June 14, 1939, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Arthur R. Trimble and Dorothy A. (Anderson) Trimble. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 683 of Columbus, Ohio.

Linda Lou Vaughn
Linda Lou Vaughn, 67, of Reno, Ohio, died March 22, 2004, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her husband, Jack J. Vaughn of Reno; son, James Robert Vaughn of Marietta; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law; and a special cousin.

Gertrude Wilkison
Gertrude M. Wilkison, 80, of Parkersburg died Monday, March 29, 2004, at the Sunbridge Nursing Facility.

Betty E. Atkinson
PARKERSBURG - Betty E. Atkinson, 85, of Parkersburg died March 27, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Carl W. and Jennie Mae Traugh Thirouin, and was a 1937 graduate of Parkersburg High School.

Carl Vernon Eddy
PARKERSBURG - Carl Vernon Eddy, 70, of Parkersburg died March 25, 2004, at his daughter's residence.
He was born in Vienna, a son of the late Harry V. and Mary K. Sams Eddy.

N. Maxine Gallagher
PARKERSBURG - N. Maxine Gallagher, 76, of Parkersburg died Sunday, March 28, 2004, in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Middlebourne, Tyler County, a daughter of the late Albert V. and Sarah Ellen Turner Parker. She was married to the late Edward F. Gallagher, who preceded her in death in 1984.

Emma Life
PARKERSBURG - Emma Grace Dennis Life, 79, a resident of the Willows Nursing Home of Parkersburg, died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at the nursing facility.
She was born Jan. 11, 1925, at Schultz, Pleasants County, a daughter of the late William Henry Dennis and Ida Emma (Ross) Dennis.

Henry F. Pios
RAVENSWOOD - Henry F. Pios, 83, of Silverton Community, Ravenswood, died March 25, 2004, in Augusta Medical Center, Fisherville, Va.
He was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Clarksburg, W.Va., a son of Stanley and Victoria Czupryna Pios. He was a retired brick mason who worked for Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church of Ravenswood. He was a member of the U.S. Army, serving in Word War II in the 71st Tank Destroyer Battalion in the African and Italian campaigns.

Vallie R. Towner
WEST UNION - Vallie R. Towner, 95, of West Union died March 27, 2004.
She is survived by sons, James of Greenwood, W.Va., Joseph of Smithburg, W.Va., and Alfred Sr. of Parkersburg; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Chelsie Elder.

Louise Williams
PARKERSBURG - Louise Godbey Williams, 77, of Parkersburg passed away March 25, 2004, at her home.
She was born May 22, 1926, in Gay, W.Va., a daughter of the late Howard E. and Evelyn Wood Godbey. The family moved to Parkersburg in the fall of 1926.

John Fankhauser
PARKERSBURG - John Howard Fankhauser, 88, of Parkersburg died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Ohio Valley Health Care.
Arrangements are pending at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg.

Lois Fox Fryer
PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Dr. Lois Fox Fryer, 82, of Portsmouth, Va., died March 27, 2004, at her residence.
Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Richard L. and Isabelle Fox of St. Albans, W.Va.; one sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Elaine and James Carroll of Somerset, N.J.; five nieces and three nephews.

Elmer Hendricks
NEW MATAMORAS, Ohio - Elmer E. Hendricks, 75, of New Matamoras died Saturday, March 27, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son, James; daughters, Ginny Narseth, Shoo-sho Beggs and Sandy Shores; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Sonny, George and Gary; and sisters, Doris, Jean and Ann.
