BELPRE - Betty J. Ayers, 77, of Belpre died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.
She was born June 21, 1926, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Arthur and Mamie Wilcoxon Brookhart. She was an office manager at AAA and License Bureau in Belpre and had worked at Doe Miller Tomato Co. in Belpre.

ST. MARYS - Jane Preston Buck, of St. Marys died March 26, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg, at the age of 82.
She was born Nov. 2, 1921, in Cattlesburg, Ky., the daughter of Charles and Ethel MacAllister Preston.
LITTLE HOCKING -William A. Dotson, 75, of Little Hocking died March 25, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Ritchie County, W.Va., the son of the late William Fredrick "Fred"Dotson and the late Hildred Dama Dotson Lemley.
MOUNT ALTO - Dayton Eugene Durst, 61, of Mount Alto, died March 25, 2004.
He is survived by his mother, Ethel Mae (Friend) Durst; his wife of 39 years, Lois June Durst; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Kristine Durst; daughter, Deborah Durst; three sisters; two grandchildren; his beloved mother-in-law; and other special in-laws.

He was born in Vienna, a son of the late Harry V. and Mary K. Sams Eddy.

PARKERSBURG - Clarence "Dad" Enoch, 89, of the Cedar Grove Personal Care Center passed away March 25, 2004, at the St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1914, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Charles and Bertha Lockhart Enoch. Clarence retired after 27 years of service with E.I. DuPont. He was an avid golfer at the Oxbow Golf Course.

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - Mrs. Hester Ellen Francis, 82, of Framingham, formerly of Ellenboro, Ritchie County, died March 26, 2004 at her residence. She had battled cancer for five months.
She was born Oct. 4, 1921 at Schultz, W.Va., a daughter of the late John H. and Mary E. Morrell Dennis.
MOUNT ZION - Mildred Mae Kerby, 86, of Mount Zion passed away March 25, 2004, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Miles W. and Rosa Lee Stump. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Zion United Methodist Church. She was a founding member of the Mount Zion Public Service District and was a 1935 graduate of Calhoun County High School.
MARIETTA - Mary M. Cantwell Leavitt died March 25, 2004.
Mary is survived by her children, Helen, Rose, Kay and Carl, Avis and Don, Judy and Bob, Dallas, Carmen, Bill, Richard and Shari; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one foster child.

PARKERSBURG - Louise Godbey Williams, 77, of Parkersburg passed away March 25, 2004, at her home.
She was born May 22, 1926, in Gay, W.Va., a daughter of the late Howard E. and Evelyn Wood Godbey. The family moved to Parkersburg in the fall of 1926.
VIENNA - Betty Bowersock Zinn, 76, of Vienna died March 25, 2004, at her residence following a long illness.
She was born in Parkersburg Jan. 30, 1928, the daughter of the late Ansel and Blanche Miller Bowersock. She had worked at the Social Security Office for 32 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.

PARKERSBURG - Elbert Clifton Francis, 91, of Parkersburg passed away March 24, 2004.
He is survived by his children, Timothy Francis and Clara Varner of Parkersburg; a stepson, Joe Hornbeck of Elizabeth; brothers, James and Russ Francis; sisters, Veldine Davis, Mary Lanfarnc and Evelyn Sable; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
