William Clarence "Curly" Walker, 89, of St. Albans died Jan. 3, 1998, in Lexington, Ky. He was a retired engineer in heavy machinery construction work, and was a retired member of Engineers Local 132.

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Glenn Allen Bell Jr., 70, of Phoenix, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, in Phoenix from an apparent heart attack. He was a retired consultant and former owner of Doors Unlimited, Phoenix.

He retired from the packing department of Elkem Metals Co., Alloy, with 38 years of service, was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired member of CCC, member of the AFL-CIO and was a lifelong resident of Smithers.

He was employed by Conrail with 33 years of service, was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, Springdale, Pa., and was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He served in the Naval Reserve, was a member of National Enlisted Reserve Association, past president of Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Fort Pitt Lodge 544 and was a 50-year member of Centennial Lodge Free and Accepted Masons 544.
