She was a retired salesperson from Harvey's Shoes, a former employee of Noble's Shoe Store and was a Pentecostalist. Surviving: daughters, Brenda Hilton Foster and Debroah Hilton Kaplan, both of Beckley; son, Keith J. Bowling of Beckley; sister, Thelma Bower Plumley of Beckley; brother, Wallace Bower of Madison; stepdaughters, Geraldine Gosney of Coal City, Anna Maw Malone of Wishawaka, Ind., Carol Zarycki of North Royalton, Ohio; stepson, Harry Vaughn Smith of Madison Heights, Mich.; four grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four step-great- grandchildren; caregiver, Sarah Workman of Mabscott. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Melton Mortuary, Beckley, with the Rev. Fred Dillon officiating, and with a Women of the Moose service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Peter G. Sparacio
PALMETTO, Fla. -- Peter G. "Pete" Sparacio, 83, of Palmetto died Tuesday, July 25, 2000, in Manatee Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Rosenhayn, N.J., and was former owner operator of the Oakland Hotel. He served three terms as mayor of Webster Springs and one term as the town's sheriff. He was a former member of St. Mary's Church, Rosenhayn, the Elks, Moose and Kiwanis Clubs. He was a member of the National Sheriffs Association. Surviving: sisters, Jennie Pepitone, Elizabeth Spinelli and Josephine Rosenti all of Vineland, N.J.; several nieces and nephews. Service was July 28 at St. Mary's Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Information was provided by Dodd-Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs.

Harold L. Taylor, 68, of Charleston died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, after an apparent heart attack. He was a retired instrument repairman from the West Virginia Division of Highways, a Christian and attended Kellys Creek Independent Baptist Church. ROCKLEDGE, Fla. -- Doyle Burton Brown, 86, of Rockledge died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000. He was a native of Fenwick, W.Va., and a member of Rockledge Methodist Church. He was a former purchasing agent for Johnstown Coal & Coke Co. and Maust Coal & Coke of Craigsville, W.Va., and Oakland, Md., and was retired from Metalcraft Engineering, Fenwick, with 40 years of service. He was a member of the Richwood (W.Va.) Lions Club, the Masonic and Moose lodges in Richwood, Wuestoff Hospital Volunteers and Rockledge Country Club. Surviving: daughters, Susan Bailey of Rockledge, Jeannie Allen of Charleston, W.Va.; sisters, Audra Windom of Plymouth, N.C., Maysel McCrosky and Agatha Carter, both of Richwood; four grandchildren. He was retired from the Army with 35 years of service and a member of Boggs Fork Community Church, Spencer, VFW Post 5783, Spencer and the Moose Lodge.
