Surviving: son, James Cashwell of Upper Marlboro, Md.; brother, James Anderson; two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Service will be noon Saturday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. NICARAGUA -- Jo Ann Jarrell Corea, 63, of Nicaragua, formerly of Kimberly and St. Albans, W.Va., and Sylmar, Calif., died Wednesday in Nicaragua after a long illness.

GRANTSVILLE -- Earl Crawford, 93, of Grantsville died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, in Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center after a long illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Grantsville, an Army veteran of World War II and was an electrician, plumber and wood crafter.

BECKLEY -- Vivian Irene Williams DeVol, 81, of Beckley, formerly of Akron, Ohio, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. She retired from B.F. Goodrich, Akron, and attended Pax High School.

HURRICANE -- Doris Lillian Easter, 54, of Hurricane died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at home after a long illness. She was an employee of Standard Food Service and a member of Pleasant View Church of God whre she was former choir director.

Judith H. Hamsher
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Judith Haile Hamsher, 58, of Columbus, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, in Riverside Hospital after a long illness. She was a native of Portsmouth, Va., a graduate of Charleston High School and Ohio University, a licensed medical technologist, served on one of the first heart transplant teams at the Medical College of Virginia and had been employed by the American Red Cross, Johannesman and Miller Laboratories and Doctors Hospital North. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Columbus, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the Ohio Association of Blood Banks and was active in Twig 232 and the Festival of Trees.
Surviving: husband, Marcus Hamsher; sister, Nancy Haile Miller. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Covenant Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tom Albaum and the Rev. William Hunter officiating. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Walnut Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, Columbus. CLINTONVILLE -- The Rev. David Al Harper, 92, of Clintonville, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, in Greenbrier Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. He was a pastor in many churches in Greenbrier, Monroe and Summers counties, and a member of Zion Light Baptist Church, Ronceverte, Masonic Lodge 42, Lewisburg, White Shrine 7, Scottish Rite Bodies, Charleston, and Order of the Eastern Star 38, Montgomery.
Surviving: son, David R. of Clintonville; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McCraw Funeral Home, Lewisburg, with the Rev. Gary Baker officiating. NETTIE -- Barry O. McCutcheon, 42, of Nettie, Nicholas County, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, at home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, a Nicholas County Sheriff's Department spokesman said. He was an Air Force veteran, a journeyman plumber and welder.

She attended Glenville State College, was a member of Christ Church United Methodist, Sutton, Sutton Women's Club and Telephone Pioneers of America.
