Blanche Waldeck
RAVENSWOOD -- Blanche Waldeck, 88, of Ravenswood, formerly of Reedy, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley. She was a retired school teacher, a graduate of Glenville State College and a 4-H All Star with 50 years of service. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, the Gilboa Baptist Church and the Gilboa Missionary Society.
Surviving: daughters, Paula Nichols of Reedy, Wanda Crislip of Parkersburg; sister, Nellie Mae Allen of Ravenswood; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Service will be 10 a.m. Sunday at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Lester Walker officiating. Burial will be in Fox Cemetery near Reedy. There will be no visitation. The family suggests donations be sent to Fox Cemetery, P.O. Box 8, Spencer, W.Va. 25276.

Pauline R. White
SHADY SPRING -- Pauline R. McDowell White, 87, of Shady Spring died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving: son, Robert L. White of Shady Spring; daughter, Betty Ballard of Roanoke, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Prosperity, with the Rev. George Smith officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

William W. White
SMITHERS -- William W. White, 71, of Smithers died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, in CAMC, Memorial Division, after a long illness. He was a member of Campbell Memorial Baptist Church, Smithers, a Navy Seabees veteran of World War II, and a retired carpenter.
Surviving: wife, Irene White; sons, Daniel of Moundsville, Jerry of Austin, Texas; brother, Joseph of Washington; four grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with the Rev. Wallace York officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Charlie Williamson
CORA -- Charlie Williamson, 67, of Cora died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, in Logan General Hospital. He was a farmer and a member of 14 Mile Church of Christ, Ranger.
Surviving: companion, Margaret Milam. Service will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Evans Funeral Home, Chapmanville, with Shelton Topping officiating. Burial will be in the Sheppard-Meeks-Kinser Cemetery, Harts. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

UNION -- Janet H. Wilson, 77, of Union died Tuesday Jan. 27, 1998, in a Fairlea nursing home after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Prospect Baptist Church, Union.
Surviving: daughters, Dorothy Shires of Zenith, Velma Bostic of Union, Freda Wilson of Sinks Grove; son, Wayne Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.; sisters, Edith Graves of Indianapolis, Betty Rose of Connersville, Ind.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Groves Funeral Home, Union, with the Rev. Walter Deskins and the Rev. Roger Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery, Pickaway. HOUSTON, Texas -- Deana Woods, 42, of Houston, Texas, formerly of St. Albans, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, after a short illness.

WESTON -- Robert Woodson, 80, of Weston died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired well tender from Consolidated Natural Gas with 29 years of service, a member of Bendale United Methodist Church and an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving: wife, Ruhama Effie Rohrbough Woodson; sons, Robert Roland of Tooele, Utah, Laurence Eugene of Buckhannon, Wayne Oliver of Linn, Gordon of Lititz, Pa., Philip of MacArthur, Dewaine of Vienna, Md., Floyd Lee of Bud; daughters, Adelene Sue Allen of Toms Brook, Va., Noreene Ruhama Heater and Jerene Mayette Sprouse of Weston, Marlene Joy Anderegg of Ellamore; brother, Claude of Fairborn, Ohio; sisters Etna Price of Elkins, Rosella Helmick of Buckhannon; 24 grandchildren; one stepgrandson; eight great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren. KENNEY, Russell E. -- Service will be 11 a.m. today at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Robert Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Gardens, Clintonville. Kenney, 53, of Rupert died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, in Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor, Va. Additional survivor: mother, Irene Smith Kenney of Rupert.

KIDD, Anna S. -- Service will be 2 p.m. today at Hughes Creek Community Church with Pastor Gary Tucker and the Rev. Jay Hill officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Smith, 71, of Maplewood died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Beckley, after a long illness.
