Surviving: son, Larry Herron of Hinton; brothers, Ronald Sutton of Charleston, Thomas Sutton of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Ruth Winns of Sun City, Ariz.; two grandsons. Service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Prosperity, with Pastor William Parker officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. BECKLEY -- William Geppert "Bill" Arrington, 81, of Beckley, formerly of Huntington, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998, in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. He was a first-class petty officer with the Navy during World War II, an employee of the engineering department of the Veterans Administration medical centers in Huntington and Beckley with more than 34 years of service and attended Memorial Baptist Church, Beckley.
Surviving: wife, Loretta Maxine Stephenson Arrington; five nieces and one nephew. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, with the Rev. Calvin M. Barnett
CANTON, Ohio -- Calvin Mason Barnett, 52, of Canton, formerly of Kanawha County, W.Va., died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, in Aultman Hospital after a short illness. He was a member of Christian Harbor Church, Canton, an employee of Akro and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving: wife, Anna Barnett; son, Jerry of Newville, Pa.; daughters, Tonya Harsh of Canton, Luellen Barnett of Canton; mother, Ruby Workman of Sylvester, W.Va.; maternal grandmother, Lassie Nottingham of Sylvester; brother, Gary Barnett of Pinch, W.Va.; sisters, Rosie Farley of Pinch, Dorothy Estep of Weston, W.Va., Mary Jo Mullins, Kathy Moore, Tina Hayes and Nancy Hill of Quick, W.Va.; seven grandchildren. MOUNT NEBO -- Cecil C. Boone Sr., 77, of Mount Nebo died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at home after a long illness. He was a retired miner with 44 1/2 years of service, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the UMW and Mount Urim Baptist Church, Hominy Falls.

He was a retired self-employed coal operator, a member of Masonic Lodge 167, Kermit, Scottish Rite Bodies, Logan, Beni Kedem Shrine, Charleston, Tug Valley Shrine, Moose Lodge, Williamson, and Gilbert Presbyterian Church.
Surviving: wife, Eva Brewer; son, Gary of Lake Worth, Fla.; daughter, Loretta Vogel of Lake Worth; sisters, Maude Litteral of Jackson, Ohio, Edna Goheen of Wellston, Ohio; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. RONCEVERTE -- Ora M. Bulifont, 91, of Ronceverte died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998, in Springfield Comprehensive Care Center, Lindside, after a long illness. She was an operator for C&P Telephone with 22 years of service, a member of Ronceverte Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge and Telephone Pioneers of America.
Surviving: sister, Irene B. Level of Pearisburg, Va.; brothers, Alvin McCormack of Ronceverte, W.T. McCormack of Fairlea. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Riverview Cemetery, Ronceverte, with the Rev. Houston Boothe officiating. There will be no visitation. James L. Cadle
James L. Cadle, 55, of Charleston died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998, at home after a long illness. He was a disabled truck driver and mechanic.

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Carmel C. Chambers, 76, of Port Charlotte, formerly of Danville, W.Va., and New Castle, Del., died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Port Charlotte, after a long illness. He was a retired plant supervisor from DuPont Co., Wilmington, Del., with 32 years of service, a member of Masonic Lodge, Wilmington, the the Elks and Eagles lodges, Port Charlotte. He was preceded in death by wife, Sally Chambers.
Surviving: sister, Elva Roberts of Danville; brother, Leonard Chambers of Danville; one niece; six nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. MADISON -- Freda Ballard Chambers, 79, of Madison died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998, at home after a long illness. She was a retired Logan County schoolteacher with 42 years of service, a member of the Retired School Employees Organization, Madison United Methodist Church, the church choir and Brook Chambers Circle.

Jimmie L. Chapman, 61, of Charleston died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at home after a short illness. He was a retired construction worker, member of Community Baptist Church and an Air Force veteran.

He was a native of Charleston, W.Va., a former employee of Westvaco Chlorine Products (FMC Corp.), a member of FMC Pioneer Club, former member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew of St. John's Episcopal Church, South Charleston, W.Va., and a member of the Church of the Holy Comforter, Burlington.
