SALISBURY, N.C. -- Timothy Albert Lesher, 37, of Salisbury died Feb. 6, 1998, in Salisbury after being struck by an automobile. According to a spokesman for the Salisbury City Police, Lesher was walking in the middle of the road on a rainy night. He was a self-employed painter.

Robert C. Magnuson
RANDALLSTOWN, Md. -- Robert C. Magnuson, 39, of Randallstown, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., died Feb. 6, 1998, in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, after a short illness. He was an administrative officer with the Hazardous and Solid Waste Management Administration of Maryland, a graduate of West Virginia University and received his master's degree from the University of Colorado.
Surviving: mother, Eleanor C. Glaser of Palm Springs, Calif.; father, Robert E. Magnuson of Snowshoe, W.Va.; sister, Ann Magnuson of Los Angeles, Calif. A memorial service will be held at a later date. ONA -- Flossie E. Markin Mohr, 96, of Ona died Feb. 6, 1998, in Teays Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hurricane, after a short illness. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Ona.

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. -- Earl Eugene Moore Sr., 65, of Casa Grande, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., died Feb. 4, 1998, in Veterans Hospital, Tucson, after a long illness. He was a sales manager for Lehmans Appliances, Casa Grande, a member of Browns Creek Church of God, St. Albans, W.Va., a graduate of West Virginia State College, Institute, W.Va., and a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

Mary Viola Gardner Moore, 91, of South Charleston died Feb. 5, 1998, in Americare of Dunbar Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a member of South Charleston Church of Christ, a homemaker and a member of Ohio Valley College Stepping Stones.
Surviving: daughter, Nora Mae Moore of South Charleston; six nieces and nephews. He was a mechanic, formerly employed by Honaker's Garage, Hometown. He attended Hometown Church of God Mission and was a member of Hometown Senior Citizens.

BIRCH RIVER -- Aaron E. "Ed" Riddle, 81, of Birch River, Nicholas County, died Feb. 6, 1998, in VA Medical Center, Beckley, after a long illness. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a farmer.

SCOTT DEPOT -- Colen E. Rose, 73, of Scott Depot, formerly of Nitro, died Feb. 6, 1998, in Putnam General Hospital, Hurricane, after a long illness. He was a native of Bluefield, a 43-year resident of Nitro and a retired insurance agent for Equitable Life Insurance Co. and American General Life Insurance Co. He was former manager of A.W. Cox department store, St. Albans. He was a graduate of Bluefield High School, a lifetime member of VFW Post 9097, a Navy veteran of World War II and a charter member of Gateway Church of Christ, St. Albans.
Surviving: wife, Helen A.; sons, Dwight E. Rose of Monmouth, Ore., Danny E. Rose of Rock Branch; brother, Carl W. Rose of Sun City, Fla.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. BUCKHANNON -- Paul E. Strader, 90, of Buckhannon, formerly of Crawford, died Feb. 6, 1998, in Colonial Place, Elkins. He was a schoolteacher with 44 years' service, and was retired as principal from Walkersville Junior High School and Elementary School. He was a lay speaker for the United Methodist Church in his district, a member of Lewis County Retired Teachers Association, Oddfellow Lodge, Crawford, and Rebecca Lodge, Walkersville, and was a member of Crawford United Methodist Church.
Surviving: wife, Ruth G. Martin Strader; son, Calvin L. Strader of Parkersburg; daughters, Thelda L. Hughes of Spencer, Paula L.
