He was a retired service manager for Richardson Tractor Co. of Charleston and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Clemons Moravian Church. Surviving: wife, Billie Raines Bonnett; daughter, Shelia Brooks of Maitland, Fla.; sons, Roger and Robert Bonnett of Clemons; sisters, Sybil Valanitine of Spencer, W.Va., Sylvia Byrd of Winter Park, Fla., formerly of Charleston; three granddaughters; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren. He was a senior at Roane County High School, attended Roane-Jackson Vocational Technical School, auto body shop, was a member of the Future Farmers of America and attended Spencer Baptist Church. He was born in Spencer. Surviving: father and stepmother, Michael and Patricia Conrad of Spencer; mother and stepfather, Patty Curfman and Roscoe Hall of Spencer; brother, Jason Michael Conrad of Spencer; stepsisters, Michelle Johnston and Tammy Boggs of Spencer; paternal grandparents, Dwight and Vera Conrad of Spencer; maternal grandmother, Mae Hickman of Ravenswood.
