MaKayla Jackson, 45 days old, of North Spring, WV, left this world to play with the Angels in God's playground on Sunday August 31, 2014 from her home. She was born July 17, 2014 in Morgantown, WV a daughter of Luke Timothy and Angel Leanne Haney Jackson. Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents; a big brother Conner Jackson; grandparents Brenda and Timmy Jackson of North Spring, Helen and Jackie Kidd of Welch and Bobby Haney of Roderfield; uncles and aunts Larry and April Jackson and Alex Jackson and Kandice Chafins all of North Spring, Ashley and Jamie Denton of Carswell, Tiffany Haney and Clinton Rose of Welch and Bobby and Andrea Haney of Coalwood; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday September 3, 2014 at the Little Cub Missionary Baptist Church, North Spring with Pastor Clifford Rawls officiating. McKayla will be laid to rest in the Cline cemetery, North Spring, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 6:00 PM on Tuesday September 2, 2014 at the church. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Pastor Nolan C. Adams, 73, of Clear Fork, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 30, 2014 at Welch Community Hospital. He was born May 18, 1941 in Simon, WV a son of the late Lila Kenneda Brooks. He was a long time minister, member of the UMWA and a retired coal miner. Also preceding him in death was twin infant sons Russell Dale and Brian Keith Adams; two brothers Winifred Kenneda and Herman Adams. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years Adelene J. Morgan Adams; three sons Marvin Adams and companion Regina Workman of Cyclone, John and Tina Adams and Todd and Jessica Adams all of Baileysville; a sister Wilma Brooks; two brothers Darrell and Jack Adams; eleven grandchildren Briawna, Brandi, Alikan, Dakota, Chelsi, Presley, Parker, Marissa, LaThea, David and Phoenix; one great grandchild Matthew; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday September 3, 2014 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco with Bishop Anthony Hudgins and Rev. Russell King officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6 - 9:00 PM on Tuesday September 2, 2014 at the funeral home. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Pat K. Tilley, 56, of Ravencliff, WV passed away on September 2, 2014 in Bower's Hospice House, Beckley, WV. She was born January 30, 1958 in Mansfield, OH, a daughter of Roger Pettry and the late Judy Carrington Pettry. Pat was a homemaker and attended the Pine Grove Baptist Church, where she was a devoted member of the ladies aide. In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her grandparents James and Pansy Pettry; and her grandma Thelma Carrington. Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years Rondell Tilley; two sons Randy and Ashley Tilley of Beckley and Earnest Tilley and his companion Shannon Graham of Ravencliff; a daughter Michele and Morris Hulgan of Bolt; his father Roger Pettry and companion Ida McMillion of Ravencliff; 20 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two step daughters Rhonda Wheeler and companion Matt of TX and Sandra and Glenn Pulliam of MD; seven sisters Sheryl Wesley and companion Timmy Tilley, Faye Workman and companion Randy Adkins, Geraldine Pettry and companion Ricky Hill, Cathy and Bernard Brooks, Thelma and Jackie Sizemore, Pansy Pettry and companion Greg Fortner, and Linda and Jimmy McMillion; a very special niece Melissa and Chris Greer who was raised as a sister; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Friday September 5, 2014 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church, Ravencliff, WV, wtih Rev. Dewayne Hurd, and Rev. Bernard Brooks officiating. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Garden, Beckley, WV. Friends may gather with the family on Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. Justin Sizemore and other family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of Flowers donations should be made to Pine Grove Baptist Ladies Aide. Keith Riley Cline, 36, of Clear Fork, WV, passed away on September 1, 2014 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born September 17, 1977 in Logan, WV, a son of Brenda Carol Cline Kennedy. Keith was a 1986 graduate of Oceana High School. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Rondle Lee Cline; and a uncle Terry Lee Cline. Those left to cherish his memories are his mother Brenda Carol Cline Kennedy of Clear Fork; his grandmother Margaret Cline of Beckley; a son David Cline of Clear Fork; a sister Jennifer Lynn Cline of Clear Fork; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday September 6, 2014 at the Promise Land Church, Oceana, WV, with Pastor David Johnson officiating. Keith will be laid to rest in Cook cemetery, Lynco, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 PM on Friday September 5, 2014 at the church. Dora J. Sexton, 46, of Panther, WV, passed away on September 2, 2014 in Welch Community Hospital, Welch, WV. She was born February 24, 1968 in McDowell County, WV, a daughter of the late Howard Edward and Dora Bennett Sexton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Ryder. Those left to cherish her memories are her son Roger Lee Steele, II; two brothers Wayne Ryder, and Jesse and Karen Ryder all of Indianapolis; her best friends Heather Payne of Avondale, and JoAnn Browning of Litwar; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the House of Gethsemane on Panther - Iaeger Road, Panther, WV, with Bro. Bobby Keene officiating. She will be laid to rest in Steele Family cemetery, Panther, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 6:00 PM on Sunday September 7, 2014 at the church. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Newson Dwaine Reed, 52, of Hanover, WV went to rest high on the mountain on Saturday August 30, 2014 in Bushnell, FL. He was born July 11, 1962 in Man, WV, a son of Berlin Reed of Hanover and Gwendolyn Bailey Smith of Lakeland, FL. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Newson and Nellie Bailey, and Bert and Geneva Reed; and father-in-law Simon Bailey. Survivors include his loving wife of 11 years Michelle Lea England Reed of Hanover; four daughters Sarah Reed, Cathryn Perdue, Bridgett Hammack, and Julia Sansom; a son Daniel Sansom; step mother Linda Reed; step dad Delbert Smith; three sisters Glenna Renee Wood, Melody Smith, and Patty Smith; two brothers Marshall Reed, and Bert Reed; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews Charles Albert "Albie" Adams, Allen Shultz, Taushonna "Shonna" Adkins, Stoney Wood, Charles Custer III, Nathaniel Reed, James Saylor, Jessica Smith, Radford Smith, Specer Reed, Shepard Reed, Dalton England, ; mother-in-law Eunice Bailey; brother-in-law Chris "Jackie" England; three special friends Jerry Trigg, Eugene Smith, and Johnny Woolum; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday September 6, 2014 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Rev. Earl Brewer officiating. In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated following the service. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. John Franklin Mullins, 81, of Turkey Creek, WV, passed away on September 3, 2014 at his home. He was born June 19, 1933 in Clay County, WV, a son of the late George Washington and Vernie Ramsey Mullins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Lettie Jean Browning Mullins; a daughter Barbara Stewart; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include three daughters Darlene Mullins and Dina Shores all of Skin Fork, and Mary Tilley of McGraws; three sons Billy Mullins of Glen Fork, George "Frankie" Mullins and Johnny Mullins all of Turkey Creek; a brother Ted Mullins of NC;13 grandchildren Theresa Hatfield, Jason Mullins, Jessica Morgan, Kasey Marie Mullins, Ashley Tilley, Justin Tilley, Dustin Tilley, Matthew Stewart, Shad Stewart, Stephanie Carter, Angelinia Shores, Daniel Ashley, Timothy Ashley; 15 great grandchildren; close friends Rodney and David Cook, and Dan Shadd; special friend Ledda Milam; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday September 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Rev. Bill Goode officiating. Joeann Repass, 79, of Oceana, WV, went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2014 in Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness. She was born August 21, 1935 in Simon, WV, a daughter of the late Virgil and Ora Chambers Goodman. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother David Goodman. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years Robert E. Repass of Oceana; two sons Frankie Repass of Oceana, and Robert Lee and Tammy Repass of Oceana; a daughter Louise and Dennie Cook of Oceana; five grandchildren Robert Lee Repass, Jr., Rebecca Repass, Jessica Cook, Misty Coleman and Jeanese Green; nine great grandchildren Seraphina Repass, Tamara Childers, Jace Repass, Hendrix Cook, Bentlee Cook, Cheyenne Coleman, Jacob Coleman, Nick Green, and Chris Green; two sisters Lillian Hubbard of Oceana, and Phyllis Ruthland of SC; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday September 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Pauline Elizabeth Hanshaw Toler, 67, of Oceana, WV, passed away on September 6, 2014 in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. She was born June 4, 1947 a daughter of the late Eula and Allie Mae Hatfield Hanshaw. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Terry Lee Hanshaw, and Wilburn Hanshaw. Survivors include three daughters Frauline Michelle and Bryan Wolfe and their children Deadra, Wendy, Caressa, Ashley, Bryan II, Amy, and Anastacia of Morgantown, Allie Mae Blankenship and her children Jennifer, and Bruce of Oceana, and Rosinna Toler and her children Kimberly and Jessie of Lester; three sisters Mary Cecil of Surveyor, Vonnie Mae and Henry Walter Collins, Jr. of Sunhill, and Deannia Ann and Earl Reed of Glover; three brothers John and Gloria Hanshaw of Skin Fork, Onie Joe Hanshaw of Surveyor, and Bud Hanshaw Jr. of Brenton; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday September 10, 2014 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. Patricia Ann Kennedy Blackburn, 54, of Clear Fork, WV, went home to be with the Lord on September 7, 2014 in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. She was born January 2, 1960 in Simon, WV, a daughter of the late Martha Blankenship. Patricia was born and raised in Simon, WV where she met the love of her life Edward Blackburn. She attended church at the Pentecostal House of Prayer in Lynco, WV. Her most cherished moments were with her grandchildren and family. Her passions were working in her garden and tending her flowers. Those waiting to welcome her home with open arms are her mother Martha Blankenship; her brothers Rocky and Billy Kennedy; and sisters Athlene Harper, and May and Wendell Bock; a brother-in-law Dale Trent. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband and best friend of 28 years Edward Blackburn of Clear Fork; stepsons Michael Copley of LaVergne, TN, and Shawn Blackburn of Simon; daughter Dianna and Jonathan Dillard of Pylesville, MD; son Ryan and Sarah Blackburn of Brenton; a loving sister Shirley of Marianna; brothers Paul and Loretta Kennedy of Gilbert, Larry and Cynthia Kennedy of Dearborn, MI; brother-in-law Bobby Harper of Detroit, MI; her most valued treasures were her grandchildren Daniel Vanwinkle, Cheyenne Copley, Daeden Copley. She will be laid to rest in Trent cemetery, Shannon Mill Creek, Brenton, WV. Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday September 10, 2014 and Thursday September 11, 2014 after 6 at the church. Rosetta Mae "Rose" Cohenour New Proffitt, 82, of Oceana, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday September 12, 2014 in Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV. She was born February 22, 1932 in Blue Sulphur Springs the daughter of the late Cass Andrew and Elsie Bryant Cohenour. Rose was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal House of Prayer. She will be sadly missed by countless family and friends. In addition to her parents Rose is preceded in death by her first husband Joda Pat New, five sisters, five brothers, a great great grandchild, a step granddaughter, son-in-law and three step great grandsons. Those remaining to love and cherish the memory of Rose and to mourn her passing include her loving husband of 27 years Firg Proffitt; her seven children Jimmie (Shirley) New, Joe Dale (Deanna) New, Lillie (Walter) Hatfield, Bobby New, Charlene (Gene) Hankins, Troy (Ruth) New and Teddy (Joanne) New; her cat baby; her 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; her 2 great great grandchildren; a sister Betty Ellis; a brother Dale Cohenour; five step daughters Dianna (Powell) Morgan, Pauline (Alvin) Kennedy, Josephine (Clifford) Preece, Lawona (Larry) Preece, and Patty (Larry) Morgan; a step son Ricky (Brenda) Proffitt; 14 step grandchildren; 15 step great grandchildren; 13 step great great grandchildren; and a host of other dear family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at the Full Gospel Church of God, Baisden, WV, with Rev. Jonas Trent and Rev. Alan Blankenship officiating. She will be laid to rest in the New Family cemetery, Baisden, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 PM on Monday September 15, 2014 at the Pentecostal House of Prayer, Lynco, WV, and from noon until time of service on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at the Full Gospel Church of God, Baisden, WV. Rose will be carried to her final resting place by her eleven grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are her step grandsons. Rose is gone from our sight but never from our hearts. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
