Joyce Lynn Thornsbury, 75, of Lynco, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. She was born on September 15, 1940 a daughter of the late Oscar Henry and Georgia Effie Mundy Marks. Joyce was a 1958 graduate of Oceana High School and a member of the Lillyhaven Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years Pastor James Lonnie Thornsbury; a sister Janice Bongalis; a brother Jack Marks and a nephew Joe Marks. Survivors include two daughters Joni Lynn Lusk of Weston and Jennifer Carol and Michael F. Comer of Beckley; a son Jamie Scott Thornsbury of Lynco; a brother Jerry Lee Marks of Tuscaloosa, AL; three grandsons Jason Ray Lusk, Brandon James Cline and Christopher Charles Cline; two granddaughters Amanda Raelynn Lusk and Alaina Carol Commer; and a host of other loving family and friends. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV at a later date. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Phillip Rudolph Tilley, Sr., 83, of Oceana, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV. He was born on March 15, 1932 in Glen Morrison, WV, a son of the late Leland Lillard and Nettie Agnes Poe Tilley. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all he knew. Rudolph was a United States Navy Veteran serving on the U.S.S. Aircraft Carrier, a member of the Joseph Baptist Church, the UMWA, a 1951 graduate of Oceana High School, and he volunteered at the Beckley VAMC for several years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years Izetta Jane Clay Tilley and a sister Edith Pomeroy. Survivors include his daughter Melinda Sue and Phillip Cook of Fairdale; two sons James Edward and Stephanie Tilley and Phillip Rudolph Tilley, Jr. and companion Vicki all of Oceana; four grandchildren Jason Tilley, Kayla Cantley, Mandy LeNoir and Zachary Tilley; four great grandchildren Hunter Cantley, Talon Cantley, Dustin Daniel and Aubrey Tilley; neighbors Gary and Nell, Jeff and Kim and Sissy; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, September 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Pastor William Cook officiating. He will be laid to rest in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Earl Prichard, Jeff Martin, Gary Snider, Zachary Tilley, Roger Cantley, Jason LeNoir, Jason Tilley and Phillip Cook. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Bowers Hospice House. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Ingrid Joyce "Barbara" Maynard Cline, 69, of Reedy Creek, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Medical Center, Morgantown, WV. She was born on October 1, 1945 in Coal Mountain, WV, a daughter of the late Ashker Lee and Eunice Carter Maynard. Barbara was a member of the Sunhill Country Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Curtis Snuffer. Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years Joseph Douglas Cline; a daughter Vicky Lynn and Rex Cline of Gilbert; two sons Austin Lee and Michele Snuffer of Ikes Fork and Timmy Douglas and Deana Michele Cline of Clear Fork; three grandchildren Traci (Anthony) Lester, Cody Hurley and Kayla (Kody) Mitchell; four great grandchildren Kaylee Addair, Nevaeh Browning, Jake Hurley-Cline and Cody Hurley-Cline; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Pastor Jay Blankenship officiating. She will be laid to rest in Cline Family cemetery, Reedy Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the funeral home. Amelia Faith Kirkendoll, left this world to play with the angels in Gods playground, just before she was born on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Welch Community Hospital, Welch, WV. Amelia is a daughter of Shane and Alyssa Kirkendoll of Huff Creek, WV. Amelia was one very loved little girl. She stole our hearts from the moment we found out about her. Amelia was and will always be our little sunshine. She is missed by so many. Amelia is preceded in death by her great grandparents Nellie and Nelson Bailey along with other family members. Also left to mourn her passing is her big brother Harley; her grandparents Randy and Angela Acord of Lynco and Rodney and Drema Kirkendoll of Kopperston; her great grandparents Charles and Flostella Acord of Lynco, Johnny and Patricia Hagerman of Warriormine and Luke and Joyce Kirkendoll of Pineville; an aunt Jessica Acord, her uncle's Matthew and Megan Kirkendoll and their son Collen, Rodney Dale and Jordan Kirkendoll and Noah Kirkendoll; and a host of other loving family and friends. Graveside services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Brown cemetery, Cyclone, WV. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Martha June Buckland Roberts, 68, of Oceana, WV, went on to a better life on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Welch Community Hospital, Welch, WV. She was born on September 15, 1947 in Asbury, WV, a daughter of the late Ronald Earl and Delcia Natalee Stafford Buckland. Martha was a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 15 years Shelby Gene Roberts; a daughter Kimberly Hicks; a sister Darlene; and two brothers Ronnie and Richard Roy "Buck Wheat" Buckland; and a great granddaughter Kimberly "Punkin" Carter. Survivors include a daughter Michelle (Derek) Watkins of Bassett, VA; a son Jimmy Darrell (Sis) Carter of Columbus, OH; a sister Patricia (Clarence) Kirk of Logan; a brother Jackie Buckland of Oceana; a sister-in-law Vanessa Mae Buckland of Oceana; nine grandchildren Danny Hicks, Michael Hicks, Brandin Stafford, Derek Watkins, Makaylah Watkins, Adrian Watkins, Jimmy Carter, Jr., Caitlin Carter and Holly Carter; two great grandchildren Olivia Hicks and London Hicks; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Lillydale, WV. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Richard Nicklas Wallace, 61, of Coal Mountain, WV, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV. He was born on September 7, 1954 in Iaeger, WV, a son of the late Freddie R. and Edith Marie Thomas Wallace. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Cathy Kennedy. Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years Marsha Ann Hatfield Wallace; a son Nicklas and Kellee Wallace of Ft. Benton, MT; three grandchildren Gabriel, Allison and Layne Wallace; a sister Diana "Dee Dee" and Sherman Taylor of Pineville; a brother David and Shelia Wallace of Bradley; and a host of other loving family and friends. A private family service was held and in keeping with his wishes he was cremated following the service. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Frankie Jim Lockhart, Sr., 58, of Panther, WV, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV. He was born on March 5, 1957 in Panther, WV, a son of the late Millard McKinley and Edker Keen Lockhart, Sr. Frankie was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers Jessie James Lockhart, Orville Jim Lockhart and Millard McKinley Lockhart, Jr. Survivors include a daughter Heather Lockhart and fiance' Everett Matney of Trap Fork; two sons Frankie (Amanda) Lockhart, Jr. of Panther and Scotty (Latoshia) Lockhart of Lower Long Pole; his wife Francis Matney Lockhart of Bradshaw; a sister Virginia Bernice (Charles Daniel, Jr.) Lester of Bassett, VA; two grandchildren Jayden Lockhart and Braylon Lockhart; mother-in-law Phyllis Matney of Raysal, WV; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Panther Missionary Baptist Church, Panther, WV, with Bro. Luke Lester and Bro. Jr. Lester officiating. Reverend Barbara Lusk Bailey, 76, of Cyclone, WV, went to her heavenly home on Monday, October 12, 2015 following a long illness. She was born on February 23, 1939 in Cyclone, WV, a daughter of the late Sebert Wayne and Alene Edna Osborne Lusk. Her devotion and love for God gave her peace. Barbara loved God and enjoyed praying. There was a special room in her home known as the prayer room where war was declared on the devil. Many healings and miracles took place in that room. She spoke of those memories often. She was a founder and dedicated member of the Cyclone Church of God for 49 years. She began her ministry work in 1973 and became an ordained minister in 1976. She was blessed with a large and loving family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Earsel Bailey; a son Ricky Bailey; a grandson Larry Dale Fields, Jr.; two brothers Emory Lusk and James Lusk; two sisters Margaret Bailey and Velma Workman; and a son-in-law James Robinette, Jr. Those Left here who love and miss her dearly are her three daughters Sandra (Larry) Fields of Whitman, Sheryl Robinette and Marlene (Timmy) Miller all of Cyclone; three sons Orville Bailey of Cyclone, Jimmy (Rita) Bailey of Matheny and Donnie (Barbara) Bailey, Jr. of Cyclone; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four sisters Patsy (Larry) Lusk, Sharon (Argel) Lusk, Loretta Harvey and Judy (Tommy) Osborne all of Cyclone; two brothers Leslie Lusk of Cyclone and Paul (Naomi) Lusk of Curtis; a close nephew Chris Lusk of Cyclone; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Cyclone Church of God, Cyclone, WV, with Rev. Jackie Lusk officiating. Randall Scott Byrd, 65, of Shannon Mill Creek, WV, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at his home. He was born on May 20, 1950 in Pineville, WV, a son of the late Edward Lee and Esta Marie Goode Byrd. Randall was a 1969 graduate of Baileysville High School and a member of the UMWA. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two daughters Carrie Ann (Michael) Collins and Alisha Dawn Byrd and companion Juan Prado all of Shannon Mill Creek; a son Michael Scott Byrd of Pineville; two sisters Virginia Mae (Ronnie) Harrison of Boone, NC and Rebecca Baker of Supply, NC; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his fiance' Brenda Byrd of Brenton; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Rev. Charles "Billy" Stewart officiating. He will be laid to rest in Byrd cemetery, Rolling Hills, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the funeral home. Jenny McCoy, 66, of Pineville, WV, entered into her heavenly home on October 15, 2015 in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV surrounded by her family. She was born on October 14, 1949 in Virginia, a daughter of the late Virginia Hutchinson Corvin Haines Nunley. Jenny was raised by her beloved grandmother Leah Hutchinson and aunt Bessie Clay. She is preceded in death by her son Russell DeWayne McCoy who was there to greet her in her new home. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 49 years Wayne; two daughters Carolyn McCoy- Phillips and husband Dan and Vicki McCoy Wallen all of Pineville; three grandchildren Tyler Phillps, Katie Wallen and Peyton Phillips; an aunt Joyce Pendry of Tyson's Corner, VA; a very special cousin Joan Walton of Tyson's Corner, VA; sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. A celebration of Jenny's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, October, 18, 2015 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Elder Russell McCoy officiating. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated. Friends may gather with the family from 5:00 PM until time of service on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the funeral home. James David Harrison, 52, of Kistler, WV, passed away on October 16, 2015 in Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV. He was born on February 3, 1963 in Man, WV, a son of Shirley Mae Hendricks Mosley and the late Robert Jennings Harrison. He is preceded in death by his father. In addition to his mother he is survived by three daughters Lora Ann (Chris) Acord of Clear Fork, Cassandra Wvailene Gray of Oceana and Stephanie Jo Murphy of Logan; a son James David Harrison, Jr. of Huff Creek; three sisters Drema Ray of Latrobe, Vickie Hunt of Reidsville, NC and Rhonda (Roy) Cooper of Lenore, NC; four brothers Jennings (Theresa) Harrison, Jr of Bim, Rodney (Shirley) Harrison of Huff Creek, Kenny Harrison of Buffalo Creek and Michael (Becky) Harrison of Cyclone; eleven grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Cyclone Church of God, Cyclone, WV, with Rev. Kennis Lusk and Rev. Jackie Lusk officiating. He will be laid to rest in Browns cemetery, Cyclone, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the church.
