Pastor William "Bill" Faulkner, 87, of New Richmond, WV passed away on Tuesday December 29, 2015 in Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV. He was born on October 3, 1928 in Abs Valley, VA a son of the late Luther and Laura Webb Faulkner. Bill was a pastor for over 42 years at the Black Eagle Missionary Baptist Church and the Spruce Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He worked from 1949 to 1984 at the Itmann Coal Company. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy Lambert Faulkner; a son Jimmy Dale Faulkner, great grandson Brayden Lester, two sisters Margaret Boothe and Kathy Harper and a brother Johnny Lambert. He was the last of the Faulkner brothers. Survivors include his two daughters Bonnie (Carl) Lester of Cabin Creek and Connie (Roger) Lester of New Richmond; two sons William David (Linda) Faulkner of Princeton and Donald Ray Faulkner of New Richmond; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three sisters Stella (Richard) Hunt of NC, Joyce Sheets of Princeton and Della Summers of VA; and a host of other loving family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 2, 2016 at the Jackson Curve cemetery, on Rt. 10 near New Richmond, WV with Rev. Dally Maynard officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Jackson Curve cemetery, New Richmond, WV. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Lawrence Tilley, 65, of Ravencliff, WV went home to be with Jesus on Thursday December 31, 2015 at his home. He was born on December 12, 1950 in Glen Fork, WV a son of Lola Day Tilley of Glen Fork and the late Harvey "Waymen" Tilley. Lawrence was a 1969 graduate of Glen Rogers High School and a member of the UMWA. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Bessie Bailey. In addition to his mother survivors include his loving wife of 45 years Ellen Gail Bailey Tilley; four sons Jeremy Lawrence (Crystal) Tilley, Mickey Dale Tilley, Jeremy Dean Tilley and Ethan Chase Tilley all of Sabine; six sisters Charlotte Bailey of Glen Fork, Rose Mary Frazier of Sabine, Sharon Church of Jesse, Barbara "Bobbi" (Andy) Jones of Glen Fork, Nancy (Bobby) Newsome of Maben and Lisa (Tim) Trump of Elkview; five brothers Charles "Chick" (Trena) Tilley of Glen Fork, Billy (Elaine) Tilley of Ravencliff, David (Teresa) Tilley of Warsaw, IL, Carlos "Fatty" (Susie) Tilley of Randleman and Randy Tilley of Naugatuck; father-in-law Donald Bailey, Sr. of Sabine; a sister-in-law Tammy Bailey of Sabine; brother-in-law Donald (Betty) Bailey, Jr. of Sabine; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday January 4, 2016 at the Glen Fork Church of God, Glen Fork, WV with Rev. Jamie Smith, Rev. Tanya Smith and Pastor Darrell Stapleton officiating. He will be laid to rest in Glen Fork Community cemetery, Glen Fork, WV. Friends may gather with the family from noon until time of service on Monday January 4, 2016 at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

In loving memory of the most precious, beautiful, loving wife, mother and grandmother, Frankie Ellen Morgan. Frankie was 69 years old and living in Oceana, WV when her perspective changed from bravely staring down cancer to firmly standing with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her eternal home. Frankie died, on January 1, 2016 surrounded by her adoring family. She was born on May 20, 1946 in Baileysville, WV a daughter of the late Pierce and Jesse Thomas Short. Throughout her life she enjoyed time with her family, attending church, reading, listening to music and combining her love of travel and history. She worked for many years as a teacher for the Wyoming County Head Start in Kopperston, WV. She is survived by the love of her life, husband Dennie S. Morgan, Sr., to whom she was devoted and married to on this journey through life for fifty-years. Frankie is survived by two children who she loved unconditionally and completely, Sherri Honaker (Chuck) of Scarbro, West Virginia and Dennie S. Morgan, Jr. (Annie) of Beckley, West Virginia. Frankie had a very special bond and relationship with her grandchildren and she loved them with all of her heart. She is survived by these loving grandchildren: Tabetha Soberdash, Travis Honaker, Trista Honaker, Harrison Morgan, Peyton Morgan, Reese Morgan and Haley Stevers. Frankie was also survived by her best friends, sisters and frequent travel-companions, Rosalie Staton (Irvin) of Noblesville, Indiana and Patricia Mullins (Bob) of Beckley, West Virginia. Frankie was also survived by two brothers, Gaylord Short (Margaret), and Dr. Franklin “Pete” Short, Jr. (Ledena); and sisters, Judy Lester and Sandra Whitten. Frankie was also survived by her brothers-in law, Ronald Morgan (Hazel) and Greg Morgan. Frankie had a special aunt, Della Smoot and a special friend Zane of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a host of other of nieces and nephews and she loved them all. Frankie was a member of the Oceana First Baptist Church. She loved all that attended and pastored to her at this house of worship and considered them her family. Frankie always wants them to know that she loves them and, also, wants to thank them for always making her feel special and loved. She will rejoice and worship with this family again, in time. Frankie’s wishes were that we all live life with Jesus in our heart and that any donations, in her name, be made to St. Jude Research Hospital a charity that she kept close to her heart. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday January 5, 2016 at the Oceana First Baptist Church, Oceana, WV with Pastor Jerry Cook officiating. Friends may gather with the family from noon until time of services on Tuesday January 5, 2016 at the church. Pallbearers will be Travis Honaker, Harrison Morgan, Toby Morgan, Tommy Morgan, Greg Morgan, Ronald Morgan and Chuck Honaker. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated following the service. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Patsy Osborne Blankenship, 46, of Cyclone, WV passed away on Wednesday December 30, 2015. She was born on September 21, 1969 in Man, WV a daughter of the late Rommie and Roberta Sharon Lusk Osborne. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Richard Osborne and Rodney Osborne; her grandparents and a host of aunts and uncles. Survivors include a daughter Brittany (Matt) Cline of Cyclone; a son Chris (Savannah) Blankenship of Cyclone; seven grandchildren Garrett Blankenship, Addison Blankenship, Bryson Blankenship, Hunter Cline, Carli Cline and Cheyenne Chapman; two nephews Trevor Osborne and Little Rod Osborne; her ex-husband and loving friend Densil Blankenship; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday January 6, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Roland Cook officiating. She will be laid to rest in Lusk cemetery, Cyclone, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9:00 PM on Tuesday January 5, 2016 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. James Michael "Jimmy" Walker, Jr., 47, Kistler, WV formerly of Oceana, passed away on Friday January 1, 2016. He was born on April 28, 1968 in Coshton, OH a son of Helen Irene Dorsey of Oceana and the late James Michael Walker, Sr. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brother Jonthon Miller and his grandfather James White Walker. In addition to his mother survivors include a sister Joyce Lynn Miller of Lewisburg; four brothers Jerry Allen Walker of Oceana, Joe Clark Walker of Oceana, Daniel Shawn Walker of Beckley and Justin Curtis Miller of Roncevert; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday January 7, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Rev. Ricky Proffitt officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 5-7:00 PM on Thursday January 7, 2016 at the funeral home. In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated following the service. Charles Ray "Chuck" Roberts, 56, of Fanrock, WV passed away on Sunday January 2, 2016 in Taylor, SC. He was born on August 7, 1959 in Pineville, WV a son of Juanita Rose Roberts of Indian Creek and the late Adam E. "Slim" Roberts. He is preceded in death by his father. In addition to his mother he is survived by a sister Karen S. (William) Rose of Fanrock; two brothers Michael D. Roberts of Fanrock and James K. "Bubby" (Carla) Roberts of Lynco; a special beloved nephew Dakota Keith "Cody" Roberts; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday January 9, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Leonard Sizemore officiating. He will be laid to rest in Roberts cemetery, Fanrock, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service on Saturday January 9, 2016 at the funeral home. Peter Dale "Pete" Sprouse, 53, of Clear Fork, WV went to be with our heavenly father on Monday January 4, 2016 after a fatal coal mining accident. He was a coal miner for over 35 years and loved the men he worked with throughout his coal mining career. He was a hard worker who took pride in his job. Pete loved motorcycles, four wheelers, parasailing, camping, boating and working. He was a fearless man and was respected and loved by so many people in his community. He truly lived his life to the fullest and always put others before himself. He was born on February 9, 1962 in Columbus, OH a son of the late Arthur and Emma Jean Collins Sprouse. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a baby brother Steven W. Sprouse. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years Rita Lynn Sprouse; two children Tabatha Frazier and husband Matthew of Beckley and Trinity Sprouse and wife Jenny Hatfield of Oceana; four grandsons Landon Frazier, Dylan Frazier, Elijah Sprouse and Noah Sprouse; his siblings Linda Lambert, Jim Sprouse, Debbie Cline, Mary Damron, Danny Sprouse, Randy Sprouse and Sandra Sprouse; his step-father Bert Carlson; best friend who he loved like a brother Steve Cox; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday January 13, 2016 at the Baileysville Community Center, Baileysville, WV with Bro. Jerry Vance and Bro. Allen Sprouse officiating. He will be laid to rest in Sprouse Family cemetery, Little Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 5:00 PM on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at the Baileysville Community Center. Bobby Arnold Bryant, 48, of Panther, WV passed away on Friday January 8, 2016 in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley. He was born on July 12, 1967 in Welch, WV a son of Florence Steele Bryant of Panther and the late Robert Bryant. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by two sisters Sandra Amburgy and Michelle Dotson. In addition to his mother survivors include his son Justin Ward of Panther; two sisters Kathy Goodman of Panther and Connie (Dwight) Cline of Jesse; nieces and nephews Joey Goodman, Jason (Kala) Lester and their children Skyler, JB, Jailen and Shayla, Brandon Lester, Nicole (Daniel) Cochran and their son Skyler, Savannah Cline and her children Cheyenne and Kyrian, TJ Cline, Justin Estep and Ryan Estep; and a host of other loving family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday January 11, 2016 at the Bryant cemetery, at Greenbrier with Bro. Ronnie Steele officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Gary Dean Roberts, 62, of Wyoming, WV finished his work on Earth and went on to be with the Lord on Sunday January 10, 2016 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born to the Roberts family on September 13, 1953 in Isaban, WV. Gary was a 1974 graduate of Glen Rogers High School and worked most of his life at the Coca Cola Processing Plant in Pineville. He also worked at Goodson's in Oceana. Some of his friends nicknamed him Louie and some called him Kemo. Gary will be remembered by many as a gentle kind soul. He was our little buddy who loved his mountaineers. He will be sadly missed by many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday January 14, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Ernie Francis officiating. In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated following the service. He will be laid to rest in Roberts cemetery, Skin Fork, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service on Thursday January 14, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ASPCA. Carl Lee Cline, 62, of Ikes Fork, WV passed away on Sunday January 10, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 16, 1953 in Welch, WV. He was the son of the late Irene and Vernon Cline. Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years Melissa Vance Cline; two daughters Miranda Mann and husband Joshua Mann of Ikes Fork and Tammy Jenkins and husband Shawn of Baileysville; three grandsons Scott Jenkins, Shane Jenkins and Brody Mann; two granddaughters Kelsey Jenkins and Shyan Jenkins; six siblings Darrell Riffe and wife Diane, Ona Cline and wife Shirley, Joyce Bailey and husband Boyd "Jr.", James Cline and wife Vickie, Eddie Cline and wife Alice, Ray Cline and wife Cathy; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Bro. Earl Brewer, Bro. Merv White and Bro. Shawn Jenkins officiating. He will be laid to rest in Riffe cemetery, Lower Muzzle, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 5-8:00 PM on Friday January 15, 2016 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ona Cline, Scott Jenkins, Shane Jenkins, Darrell Lee Cline, Jarrod Cline, Jeffrey Cline and Todd Jenkins. Larry E. Osborne, 70, of Oceana, WV passed away on Wednesday January 13, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV. Born December 3, 1945 at Lorado, Logan County, WV. He was the son of the late Arnold Osborne and the late Marie and Lawerence Lusk. Larry served in the United State Army from 1968-1970 and was stationed in Korea for twelve months. He worked as a coal miner for over 19 years at Kopperston #2 Mines and was a member of UMWA District 17 Oceana Local 7604. Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a granddaughter Chanel; sisters Brenda Lusk, Eva Vance, Iris Lusk, Elizabeth Lusk, Janice, Juanita and Laurencana; and a brother Johnny. Survivors include his wife Delores Gay; daughters Melitte Bentley of Oceana and Cindy Seiter and husband Rob of Beckley; grandchildren Lexi, Ayden, Mia and Nolan; sisters Rosalee Green and husband Roger of Greenwood and Lisa Peters and husband Darren of Foster; brother-in-laws Marlyn Lusk of Bim and Barry Vance of Madison; and a host of other loving family and friends. Larry was dearly loved by Ruth and the late Willard Lovins and family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday January 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Bro. Danny Thomas and Bro. David "Sam" Osborne officiating. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. The Wyoming County Veterans Honor Guard will conduct Military Rites. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the Osborne family asks donations be made to Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV.
