David F. Caldwell
LOS ANGELES - David Fraser Caldwell, 33, died Saturday at his home. The graveside service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Revs. Kerry Holder-Jones and Jack Wilson officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Mr. Caldwell was a 1982 graduate of Huntsville High School where he was in the Key Club and the Drama Club. He performed for Fantasy Playhouse in "Pinnochio" and "Hansel and Gretel" and played hockey for the YMCA. He studied drama at Berry College in Rome, Ga., and at New York University. He moved to Huntsville in 1994 to aid in his brothers business, but later moved to Los Angeles, where he studied filmmaking at Los Angeles City College. He was a member of the Church of the Nativity in Huntsville where he was an acolyte and was active in EYC.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Muir Fraser of Huntsville; his father, Charles Alton Caldwell Sr. of Tampa, Fla.; and one brother, John Brooks Caldwell of Los Angeles.
Memorial donations may be made to Episcopal Camp McDowell or to United Cerebral Palsy.

Robert Doss
SCOTTSBORO - Robert Doss, 46, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Speers officiating.
Mr. Doss was a native of Jackson County and a member of St. Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rubylee Doss; one daughter, Sherri Doss of Scottsboro; three sons, Marcus Telo Doss, Keion Lorenzo Doss and Blake Martez Doss, all of Scottsboro; four sisters, Dianne B. Graham, Keno E. Johnson, Darria A. Dillard, all of Scottsboro, and Joyce Cox of Augusta, S.C.; two brothers, Calvin Doss Jr. and Marvin Sanford, both of Scottsboro; one stepbrother, Jessie Boyd Jr. of Scottsboro; and two grandchildren.

Gloria M. Jones
Gloria Mae Jones, 56, of Peck Road in Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. Gallant Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Beverly L. Kirkland
Beverly Lynn Kirkland, 47, of Huntsville died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Scott Gossett officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirkland was a Madison County native.
Survivors include her father, Deland Kirkland of Grant; three brothers, Steve Kirkland, Bruce Kirkland and Ervin Byrom, all of Huntsville; one sister, Patty Byrom Smith of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Birdie L. Lenoir
Birdie Lee Lenoir, 69, of 4004 McEwen Drive in Huntsville died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bethany P.B. Church with the Rev. Levi Freeman officiating.
Burial will be in Crutcher Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Alberta Lenoir Parker of Lilburn, Ga.; and two sisters, Willie Belle Humphrey and Queen Esther Douglass, both of Huntsville.

Janice M. Locker
HAZEL GREEN - Janice Marie Locker, 40, of West Limestone Road died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Benny Berry officiating.
Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.
Mrs. Locker, a native of Franklin County, Tenn., was a housewife and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Locker of Hazel Green ; three daughters, Tosha Hughes of Huntsville, Bridget Hobbs of New Hope and Cotesia Hughes of Hazel Green ; one son, Jonathan Buchanan of Hazel Green ; her mother, Aline Wilkerson of Hazel Green ; one sister, Deborah Moss of New Hope; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eleise Wilson Long
PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Eleise Wilson Long, 66, died Monday at a local hospital. A graveside service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Decatur City Cemetery.
Roselawn Funeral Home of Decatur will be in charge.
Mrs. Long was a former resident of Decatur.
Survivors include one daughter, Sarris Hamilton of Charlotte, N.C.; one son, Gary Long of Lynn Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy McDaniels of Decatur and Avis Baucom of Huntsville, Ala.; one brother, Wayne Wilson of Decatur; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Sibert O. Morton
BOAZ - Sibert Odell Morton, 85, of 233 Mount Vernon Homes died Wednesday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Old Macedonia Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Morton; one daughter, Mable Ryan of Bessemer; two sisters, Mildred Pruitt and Marjorie McEntire, both of Boaz; and one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Chris Myers
Chris Myers, 28, of Huntsville died Wednesday. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include his parents, Cliff and Grace Myers of Huntsville; one brother, Cliff Myers Jr. of Huntsville; his paternal grandfather, Clifford T. Myers of Lancaster, Pa.; and his maternal grandmother, Jane Martin of Long Beach, Calif.
Memorial donations may be made to the Restoration Ranch.

Wynell A. Owen
SOMERVILLE - Wynell A. Owen, 68, of 435 Owen-King Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rescue Methodist Church.
Burial was to be in West Point Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include her husband, James R. Owen; three sons, Terry Owen of North Carolina and Wade Owen and Jeff Owen, both of West Point; three sisters, Inalee Parker of Pine Ridge, Lynn Black of Union Hill and Carlene Malone of West Point; three brothers, Ray Abercrombie of Union Hill, Jay Abercrombie of Georgia and Gary Abercrombie of West Point; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Myrtle C. Smith
ALBERTVILLE - Myrtle Clara Smith, 84, of 1035 Hunter Gap Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Guntersville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Rehobeth Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Smith, one daughter, Gladys Smith, and one son, Freland Smith.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Howe of Alder Springs, Audrey Brown of Louisiana and Wanda Coy of Maryland; one son, Newman Smith of Alder Springs; and 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Theodore W. Smith
Theodore Wesley Smith, 59, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Latham United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Ward officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Smith, a native of Clark County, moved to Huntsville in 1979 after he retired from the U.S. Air Force. He then worked as a logistics engineer for the Raytheon Service Co. He was also an active member of Latham United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Pruitt Smith of Huntsville; one daughter, Martha Bryan of Huntsville; two sons, Steve Smith of Huntsville and Mark Smith of Birmingham; his mother, Willie Grey Smith of Jackson; one brother, Glen Smith of Jackson; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Latham United Methodist Church or to Hospice Family Care.

Clarence L. Walker Sr.
Clarence Lewis Walker Sr., 90, of 205 Green Cove Road in Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Liberty Christian Center with Pastor James Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in Northside Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Lee Walker of Huntsville; seven daughters, Lorene Townsend, Katie Mae Draper, Leona Elliott and Cornelia Russell, all of Huntsville, Mildred William and Claudette Shaw, both of Lawton, Okla., and Earlene Walker of Akron, Ohio; five sons, Clarence Walker Jr., William Draper, Edward Walker, Charlie Walker and Willie Walker, all of Huntsville; one sister, Hattie Walker of Huntsville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Joy G. Whitney
HAZEL GREEN - Joy Gayle Whitney, 48, died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ron Ostrzycki officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitney was a Madison County native.
Survivors include her husband, Phill Whitney of Hazel Green ; two sons, Jamie Kirkland of Hazel Green and Steve Kirkland of Huntsville; one daughter, Christy Siniard of Hazel Green ; her mother, Marvene Stevenson of Panama City, Fla.; one brother, Rodney Durham of Panama City; and one stepson, Tony Bleicher of Hazel Green .
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
