Alabama, U.S., County Marriage Records, 1805-1967 - 1814-1935

Thomas A. Robinson:
A native of Holt, AL and a longtime resident of Theodore, died at a local hospital on Tuesday, December 14, 1999. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the Merchant Marines. He was a member of the American Legion Post 76 and Post 250 and was a member of VFW Post #49 and Post #4328. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tanya Ann Robinson and a sister, Jean Robinson and is survived by his children, Gordon T. (Donna) Robinson of Belle Fountaine and Shelly Robinson (Michael) Winters of Theodore; his mother, Edna Mae Robinson of Theodore; sister, Marilyn Landrum of Mobile; brothers, Arthur (Joan) Robinson of Robertsdale and Donald Robinson of Deridder, LA; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be Thursday, December 16, 1999 at 10:00 A.M. with interment in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P. M. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.

Mrs. Virgie Boling Scarbrough:
Age 85: A Native of Lucedale, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, died at her residence on Wednesday, December 15, 1999. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Mobile. Mrs. Scarbrough was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Arthur E. Scarbrough and son, Benny Scarbrough. She is survived by four children, Ernestine Scarbrough Bragg, Osburne "Tarzan" (Alice) Scarbrough, Bobby (Sadie) Scarbrough, and Jimmy (Charlotte) Scarbrough, all of Mobile; one sister, Laura Carter of Mobile; eight grandchildren, Sheila ("Sparky") Butler of Mobile, Ricky A. (Rhonda) Bragg of Saraland, Glen (Barbara) Scarbrough of Mobile; Diane (Steve) Jencks of Irvington; Teresa (Sandy) Luker of Mobile; Patricia Bennett of Mobile; Dina (Danny) West and Tammy Scarbrough both of Semmes; nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 16, 1999 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 17, 1999, 10 AM, from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Union Church Cemetery, Lucedale, MS. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME 3155 Dauphin St. Ext., Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Claudia Scott:
A native Jay, FL and a resident of Mobile for many years, died at a local hospital on Sunday, December 12, 1999. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 16, 1999 at 11AM from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Mr. Bryant Westerfield Sheehy:
Age 86. A native of Leaksville, MS and a longtime resident of Mobile died at his home on Tuesday, December 14, 1999. Mr. Sheehy was in the banking industry for 44 years and retired from American National Bank where he served as Vice President. He was a member of The Chamber of Commerce and the Alabama Wildlife Association, and also a member of Civitan. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Jackson Sheehy of Mobile; his children, Dr. Bryant Neal (Joann) Sheehy of Sacramento, CA and Mary Sheehy (Gary) King of Daphne, AL; four grandchildren, Bryant Sheehy, Braxton Sheehy, Tarresa King and Courtney Pogson; three great grandchildren, Brandon Sheehy, Mary King and Skylar King, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the graveside on Friday, December 17, 1999 at 2 p.m. with interment in Pine Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 16, 1999 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME 3155 Dauphin St. Ext., Mobile, AL.

Mrs. Nancy Eloise Smith:
Funeral services were held from Smithtown Baptist Church, Wednesday, December 15, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Reverend N.C. Griffin and Reverend J. Lloyd Brown and Reverend Clement Casey Officiating. Pallbearers were Dillard Burton, Hanan Browning, Justus Browning, Ricky Smith, William Smith and Wayne Smith. Interment was in Smithtown Baptist Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, AL

Mrs. Debra Marcene Flowers Stewart:
A native of Mobile, and longtime resident of Chickasaw, died in a Pensacola hospital Saturday, December 11, 1999. She is survived by three children, Brandi Nicole Stewart, Leon Dewayne Stewart and Patricia Ann Stewart, all of Theodore; two sisters, Theda Renee (Henry) Burkhalter of Coden, and Pamela Joyce (Joby) Huggins of Chickasaw; three brothers, Gary Flowers, of Chickasaw, John Flowers and Jerrell Flowers, both of Mattituck, NY; 7 nieces and nephews David, Belinda, Misty, Micheal, Todd, Daniel, and Danielle, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 16, 1999 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Friday, December 17, 1999 at 12 Noon from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM in Bay Minette Cemetery, Bay Minette, AL. Funeral arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, AL.

C. Roy Stringer:
A native and lifelong resident of Semmes, AL died Monday, December 13, 1999. Mr. Stringer is survived by one daughter, Helen (Brian) Sutton of Mobile, AL; two sons, Lee (Laurie) Nichols of Semmes, AL and Johnny Stringer of Semmes, AL.; five grandchildren; his mother, Vivienne George Stringer; one sister, Juanita (Wayne) Hall of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Darrel (Carolyn) Stringer of Mobile, AL. and Larry (Kim) Stringer of San Antonio, TX; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 16, 1999 from 5:00 until 8:00pm at Serenity Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 17, 1999 at 10:00am from the chapel. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Mobile, AL.
